thanks so much, Karl! I was hoping you'd like it! we were kinda of playing on your sonic turf there a little, haha! I could see you improvise some madly fast guitar solo over something like this!!
@@urbulibaba A few. Thanks to YT, which likes to shadow-ban or kill channels. YT is the only medium I still use. I have withdrawn from all other social media platforms.
The fantastic thing about UA-cam is that your mind can be opened to so many new experiences (if you let it!) and this is one for me. I so enjoy and appreciate Urbuli and fellow musicians free jazz improvisations (which I only really got into from first hearing on Urbuli's channel). Know lots of us who pass by here appreciate more 'experimental' styles of music and this is a match of 'electronics' & 'free jazz' made in heaven for me! 🙂👍
thanks so much for the kind words! you've truly put your finger on what (still) makes youtube a very special place! funnily enough, it is precisely because i created this channel and started listening to other people making their own original music, that I became interested in experimental genres I knew almost nothing about until recently - and this piece is definetely influenced by all the noise artists that I follow and follow me here!!
@@urbulibaba so true, I've come across such great music since starting this little UA-cam adventure. I reckon more inquisitive people are turning to this way to find interesting music because the mainstream has become so predictable with little chance of finding anything there genuinely different from what the powers that be deem suitable for their sales strategies!
@@memorybugmusic I completely agree with you. UA-cam is a great space for discovering new artists. The wide range of music exploration on here is a gift.
Thanks so much for your kind words!! I'm slowly trying to reply to (not so) new messages... I'm not at home very often these days, and can't get access to my channel without a computer! So glad you like "glitchophonics", it does sound as though it should be in the OED, right??
I think I'd love to make a 10 hour extended version of this and include it in a fake ASMR playlist... with the volume slowly increasing to deafening loudness by the end...
This collaboration of electronics mixed with human visceral movement lung made sounds and the impossible movements made possible made by machines, incredible
Ooooo I love this combo. The horn skronk, the electronic glitch and the percussive eruptions bounce off each other so nicely - I’d love to see a live recording if you perform together
thanks a lot, man! I really hope I can make it happen! it's not really the kind of music you can play at mainstream venues so we might not be able to play together before autumn though! thanks for the kind feedback!
Sounds like industrial Avangard,interesting & flowing.A bumpy ride to wake the subconscious & lighten the load….quite a journey…enjoy your weekend…smiles & well wishes…Reekashade.
Thanks so much, Reeka! definitely a bit of a departure from my other projects, but i'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless! have a great weekend, my friend!
My imagination goes wild when I listen to the free noise music. My attention keeps shifting to the different parts, especially the electronic noise. This would be very interesting to watch live! However I know that much of the synthesizer craziness lives inside the device, so it would not be as spectacular in person.
thank you, Patrick! the whole noise universe is something of a recent discovery for me, but I know what you mean! I'm actually quite curious to see how this would sound when performing live at a venue, I'd argue it might become more interesting actually; the only minor gripe I have about modular synth when it's recorded directly from a computer, is that it's missing a bit of that organic feel that you can only get from a sound reverberating inside a real physical space... so hearing it play with the other instruments in the same room will probably feel like a completely different experience!
Pretty cool.
thanks again! I approve of any channel that has Baudelaire's name in it (and something suspiciously resembling Rimbaud's haircut to boot!)
Wonderful adventure in the audio cosmos very different than usual but absolutely great chemistry with the musicians as always.📡📡📡
Thanks, Ihba, it's always refreshing to try out new things! :D

Merci encore, Patrick! Clochards célestes - ça nous va bien à Michel et à moi !! :P
