Van Life In Naples, Italy was NOT what we expected.
Check out the Pizza cooking class we did: getyourguide.tp.st/rns0UU4d
Naples, Italy - Is it SAFE for VAN LIFE? We've all heard the stereotypes - a city rife with petty crime, rubbish and graffiti everywhere, pickpockets - we decided to visit Naples with an open mind, and while yes, there is trash and grafitti, the people of Naples are warm and friendly, and the city has a great vibe and energy.
We checked out the main things to see in Naples and of course, being the birthplace of Pizza, we did a Pizza Cooking Class - we learnt ALL THE THINGS we were doing wrong with our home made Pizza!! The results were delicious!

    We loved our visit of Naples in April/May this past year.... I thought you might mention the local driving/drivers and horn use... We had only booked a week there and moved on to Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan before returning to Canada. We did regret not booking at least 2 to 3 weeks here in Naples, we absolutely loved it, so many things to explore and we also found it very safe, but like any city you are visiting, you should be aware of your surroundings. Safe travels and loved the video.

    Went to Venice ten years ago and did not see a fraction what you showed. It was part of a month-long Euro trip so I was with wife, two teen kids and a niece, we imediatelly became a target for all kinds of scammers and pickpockets, so it was stressful. Apart from ignoring as much as possible of this and enjoy the water bus, Piazza San Marco, Rialto Bridge and so on, the best parts were walking throght small canals and narrow alleys and we were able to find good hidden places to eat. After this beautiful video I will put it in the tierlist again, but to return alone with a travel vest with all my stuff in internal pockets, so I will be able to just ignore everything and really enjoy.

We have beautiful Alps in our region, and also there are beautiful alpine mountains in the Northwest part of Italy (Piedmont and Val d’Aosta regions), which are also the highest mountains in Europe. But for me the eastern Alps, specifically the Dolomites (which are in Trentino Alto Adige, but also in Veneto and Friuli regions) are the best

    I’ve seen lots of Trelino reviews, all really positive but unfortunately all sponsored, so one never knows how totally unbiased they all are. So I hope you don't mind me asking but now you have lived with the Trelino for over four months (and presumably out of any commercial incentives) , how have you found it? My friend has a diy built composting toilet on the small holding and quite frankly its bloody awful primarily because the rear hole is not particularly large and on a normal loo you can wipe your ass whilst remaining seated but on the diy loo you have to stand up to wipe your ass as there is no room to get your hand down whilst seated. I have a chemical toilet but I use it for emergency deposits, so I pop a bag in and then afterwards I bin it, pee goes in the portable 'urinal' (pee bottle). I can definitely see the advantage of a separating toilet but the Tolino does seem exceptionally expensive for what it is. The other question, is does in need to be water and vinegar to keep it clean or could it be water and lemon juice to keep it clean as I figure that would smell nicer.

    • @nigelandsueadventures
      @nigelandsueadventures 2 дні тому

      So long as we have the fan on, after a 💩 there is no smell. But turn the fan off and it’s a bit nasty! We can definitely wipe while seated!! We do need to empty the 💩 more often than we did with the Airhead, but for the price, the Trelino gets our vote.

    28 december, just found you so not sure where ur at now. If you thinking of Scandinavia in winter u'll need an engine preheater coz u could be in -30°c, solar would be rocking horse sh*t, so a small cheap genny a good idea for days when the weather is do bad you can't move, or if the engine won't start or u breakdown. You must have elec for your heater etc etc as u well kno. 2015 model, if trully 2015 it's EURO6 spec so a help with LEZ's. Italy: illegal to sell u lpg for domestic use, but go to more rural garages and mostly u should be served. Buy a bunch of adaptors for different lpg nozzles in EU & UK. Beware of diabolical narrow streets with right angle bends low bridges parked cars in crazy places everywhere. Scandinavia: Also only one heater is fine provided it never breaks down or you ur stuck soneplace and u run our of lpg, therefore a chinese diesel heater is belt and braces, and u can run it in combinatation with the lpg heater if necessary. -30 or worse is no joke. I'm assuming ur Possl had an lpg truma heater.😮 Possible insulate the deisek supplis to engine and heater or use inline heaters.
