I just bought the game, haven't even opened it yet, you're the fourth video I've watched and by far the most helpful for understanding the game's strategic mechanics. Just knowing that it's a race and 40 seconds can matter so much in the beginning against competent players is a huge piece of knowledge for absolute beginners like me.

Ngl an india player with a mahout army (mansabdar+6-7 mahouts) and a seige elephant army (mansabdar seige elephant with 2-3 seige elephant) coupled with both their brahmins with terror charge+dukha suffering seems impossible to fight against. I always pick indians against AI so that it doesn't pick them for itself (as for online, god helps if they reach imperial before me)

Lifidi are still s tier. With 500 influence you can get them in age 2.

Also I want to put forth the theory that in late game portugal is actually better than russia in doing the instant unit spam, with a better eco, and no limits on barracks to support their [potential] instant pikes & ordinance rifle combo (also they have a way of instant spam order knights)

Quite interesting decision about Aztecs & Inca... but I can understand additional utility & earlier power-spike. But stat-wise, if I didn't miss anything (from wiki: stat boost from epoch, cards & bonus from epoch lvl-up for Aztecs... but without rituals, for them Aztecs probably slightly better): Aztecs: 375% HP & 450% Damage (and +100% damage for Swashbuckler) Inca: 365% HP & 1015% Damage (also better movement speed)

They patched the +2 TC to brazil revolt in which they don't give the additional +2 TC build limit, which means the Port-to-brazil revolt is [I think] limited to a max of 13 TCs.

Wait a minute here, so if I put 2 cover mode hospitaliers behind my mass so they don’t take damage, and my fire thrower mass is the one fighting and taking damage, they now have the cover mode resistance? No way that seems broken! Also I recall that deflection damage passively regenerates when idle but that may have been removed
