As someone who learned how to crochet from the woobles kits, which is also $15/skein, i just loved using this yarn. I made a little frog and it felt so good compared to the woobles yarn and worked up so much faster.

I know this is an older video, but if you add little black embroidery to the white parts (for seeds), she'd be dragon fruit colored!

Ooh! I love this yarn, actually making a giant blanket with it right now. As I've been working with it, it became one of my FAVORITES in terms of texture and ease of use, I've since bought every shade and made a few gothy hats and tops with it. I can see how it might pull apart with tighter stitches but with a 4/5 hook it's really really nice and ive not had any snagging issues with anything ive made so far. Also for whatever reason this yarn's been on sale for $9 basically since they came out with the black backed shades so dont buy it at retail! Wait them out.

23:35 Did you do yarn over for the hair and yarn under for the head? Did you do the head and hair with two different Hooks? I know you switched hooks mid way through. These could be the only way the hair would be too big besides the pattern being off.

I love crows too! They’re so interesting and smart! I also get sporadic cystic acne, and I like the Differin pimple patches with salicylic acid (I get them on Amazon). I also noticed it flares up when I eat dairy, which sucks because I love cheese haha.

My impression is that her admission in writing that she hacked your pattern may be enough to be successful in a suit. However her pattern would be slightly different from yours and the number and type of differences will be a factor in court. The more unique the stitch pattern-the easier to prove its your intellectual property. Amigurumi makers suffer because it’s all single crochets and the most popular patterns consist of construction techniques that are more straightforward.

It looked like you were doing surface single crochet and not surface slip stitches (SC need way more yarn than SL). But it was definitely an oversight, that the technique was not explained. I have cystic acne due to hormones, I'm 50s but I use The ordinary serum with Zinc and when I am consistent I have no breakouts! I'll try to find a link

I had cystic acne when I was teens and young adult. My Dr put me on acutane. It is a very bad drug as far as liver and birth defects. You have to get ur blood done once a month and you can't get pregnant for like 6 months after or something like that. It gets rid of cystic acne really well and it doesn't come back ever

The crow is so cute. I got some of that yarn because of the texture though I’m still not sure what I want to make with it. As for the acne I would say a cleanser with either salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide (make sure it sits on the skin for at least a full minute) and then one of the pimple patches with the micro darts like from peaches or zit stika for overnight. That will help reduce the pressure of swelling or make it a white head.

This isn’t a Christmas idea, but I would love a video tutorial on sewing all the amigurumi pieces together (determining placement etc). Mine are often uneven, which can be frustrating. To answer your question, I am knitting a sweater for my oldest son while I watch. Body is done, first sleeve in progress. 😊

A possible Christmas idea could be a "12 days of Christmas" mystery crochet where you upload a piece of a pattern every day and on the 12th day you reveal the whole object. But also, your videos are always great, so even not super Christmas-themed videos will be awesome!

As a 33 yo who had cystic acne her whole life until she finally saw a dermatologist this February, benzoyl peroxide face wash in the morning, super chill face wash (Neutrogena Ultra Gentle or Vanicream are great) at night, Rx for Clindamycin and Adelaide acid in the AM, and Rx tretinoin at night!

Go to a dermatologist, and they most likely will put you on isotreinoin cure. Some kind of medisicine that stops your oil glands as long ad you are on it. I was on it, and I've rarely gotten cystic acne since. Just small pimples. Love from a friend in Norway who used to have cystic acne

Spooky but not gross scary recommendations: If you like that show, then definitely try Gravity Falls. Lots of supernatural and fun/creepy vibes. Then the classics like hocus pocus, Nightmare before Christmas, Casper, The Adam’s Family (90s version) and the Burbs. I forgot how good The Burbs is.

I’m also 38, with hormonal & sometimes cystic acne 😩 never had a pimple a day in my life before this. I use Differin system. It’s worked well as long as I do it every night. Crow turned out so cute and pretty with that yarn!!! For the acne, I am about your age and like you never had too many problems with it as a teen, I saw my Doc about it and she made me aware of Peri menopause!!! I had no idea about it, she change the contraceptive I was on and that worked wonders for me! 💖

For your acne-I’m allergic to a lot of stuff. The only thing that’s helped me is prescription Clindamycin ointment from my dermatologist. It’s not perfect, but it’s better than it was. I’ve had acne for 40 years. I get blackheads, pustules, and cystic.

I'm never going to pronounce lattice correctly again, lol. Although now it's a yarn that I might pick up, and I wouldn't have had you not reviewed it. I was also working on some crows that I got from Deprecat on Etsy. Once I run out of the yarn I'm using (can't remember what it is and I threw away the label), I might try some of the lattice for the rest.
