Having just visited here and Phantasialand I agree with all you said, I too think Europa is better than Phantasialand.

I have another issue with RMC which is capacity. RMC is in no doubt a huge crowd pleaser. In my homepark (Six Flags Mexico) which has no competition, Medusa gets massive ridership, arguably the most popular ride in the park, but even with two train ops, they run 5 carts, not 6. So a few weeks ago my school (one of the biggest in Mexico) held a private event that rented out the park for all the school´s campuses in central Mexico. They also invited a sister school so starting off, there was double the people than usual in the event. They were running Medusa with no Flash Pass, and with ONE TRAIN. I know its a private event, but the park was absolutely packed, and it was just criminal to have Medusa on one train ops. They eventually added the second train, but with the 5 carts (its been years since I last saw them run the 6 carts) and I kid you not, one of my friends made 3 hours in line to ride it. I made the horrible choice to skip it, but hey, at least I rode the SLC in exchange and that had the Flash Pass on so I made like a 20 min wait time 😔(tbf at least it already has the vest restraints so its actually kinda good)

Wait, an American who did not go to Disneyland Paris? I am shocked. I am also surprised you ranked the Efteling so high when you are a coaster fan. Usually coaster fans do not care about the Efteling that much. But i am glad that "my" park is at number 4 even though i think it is better than Phantasia. Europapark is my nr 2 and i am so sad it is so far away..Love that park, so i get why that is your nr 1.

My favorite ride in Europe is by far "flag de demonen" or whatever its called at Heide Park, the Wing Coaster

I waited 2 hours for this ride, and my first thought at the end was "that was it"? I think because I'd seen so much hype over it in the last few months I thought it'd be a bit better. It's a good coaster but still doesn't beat Voltron or even Nemesis for me. Nothing gave me that 'wow' factor except maybe the valley after the first drop which hurt my back slightly. Wait sorry that's 'ow' factor. In all seriousness though I did enjoy it, just was disappointed by it's length and lack of more elements.

i just hope they will replace euromir with a extreme mack spinning coaster, they could even reuse the towers (and i agree, please keep the theme and soundtrack). but your take implying they set some parts on fire on purpose (while there were visitors attending) is just absolutely weird

I have done about 15 Mountain coasters and the best one by far in my books are Fisser Flitzer in Austria (the one shown at 8:01 and 14:14), this ride in some sections actually feel dangerous in some spots and I am not sure how they are legally allowed to exist. I also gotta mention Rodelplausch in Interlaken, Switzerland, I only know that I rode it sometimes during my early childhood. I definetly need a re-ride on that one, but I could just never justify a trip there just for this one ride, but I might have to change that. I also did Hasenhorn Coaster multiple times before 2014, and once in 2015 (in 2014 it was upgraded with the automatic trims I belive from experience), it definetly killed the ride and it's not as good as it used to be. On said 2015 ride, we went there on a school trip and we had to hike up that hill. God that hike fucking sucked, it took us like 3 hours with breaks. We also have one of the Bobsled Alpine Coasters in our Region and it is still a very popular daytrip destination. It's not that good but it is still fun to ride. It's the closest thing we have to a permanent rollercoaster in our region, so it's cool. It's weird that we exclude these when we talk about "roller coasters". I agree, we need to give these the credit they deserve

I have rode some mountaincoasters. You also need to watch out for parents with litle Kids. They tend to be slow.

for the map, i'd remove the plan inclinee and add the one near abtenauer. the plan inclinee one is quite slow, short and not as fun. the one at abtenauer is crazy, super long and fast with very good airtime

Great vid! Despite living in Idaho and visting states in that area, I wasn't much of a thoosie back then, so I didn't know about RCDB and the roller coaster maps, so I hadn't been able to ride an alpine coaster by the time I ended up in Florida, but last year I went on a cruise and it stopped a Royal Caribbian's private beach in Haiti, and I got to ride the alpine coaster ther! I made sure all my family was gonna go no brakes and then we all flew down it and I was instantly hooked, funnily enough, there a chance I get to ride the unique 2-car Bobsled at Mystic Mountain in Jamacia next year! Another apline coaster that i think would be cool to add to your list is Plosebob, it was made by Mountain Innovations (owned by the same company as Zierer) and features a launch, an underground station, and some of the steepest turns I've seen!

YES i rode my first mt coaster back in september and considering how lil talk there about them i wasn’t expecting much, instead i got a fast smooth ride down a gorgeous mountain with plenty of pops of airtime. Now i cant wait to ride more, and honestly they need more coverage and discussion.

I only rode wildfire and the shinguards where so awkward, I was genuinely worried for my legs while going up the Chainlift. During the ride it was fine though.

I disagree with you about Voltron. It’s not entirely my style of coaster (the elements follow each other with the same rhythm, almost like a metronome, and overall, the coaster lacks a bit of recklessness). But to say it’s not world-class is simply wrong. No matter personal opinion or taste, the hangtime is among the best in the world, the ejector airtime too, and the same goes for the laterals. The coaster is long and extremely intense, maybe too intense for some people. It’s also technologically very advanced. When I look at the best coasters I’ve ridden (not necessarily my favorites, that’s something else), it’s on the same level as a Steel Vengeance, Eejanaika, or Untamed to name a few. Definitely a top 30 in the world (and it ranks there in all serious lists: Captain Coasters and Vote Coasters).

I don’t have a problem with the restraints, I have a problem with how often their lift hills break down. I seems to be a sensor issue that I have seen every one of them have. Rmc is also a new company, they are bound to make mistakes, question is can they improve

Whatever you do don't visit this park it's an absolute waste of money charge 330 aed each description 25 rides honestly like 6 or 7 proper rides then soft play area complete dead park more staff than customers now a know why wasted my money charged me 330aed each scandalous plz save your money an don't visit here why advertise 25 rides and attractions and there's 8 rides or so few of them not even classed as ride why charge and rob visitors who have spent so much money already to come to visit and then found a dead rat also lying in the park a spoke to the manager advising this it not acceptable who literally brushed me off saying U were here more than an hour etc and took my details I am very very disappointed how there can possibly charge that much an then offer so little unbelievable please take this advice an avoid at all costs as you will regret dont fall for the trap of real madrid its literally few fake trophies on dislay

They need to change their restraints and if they don’t want to do that at least pad them better, I like to have a little cage to bounce around in when I am on a rmc and it hurts a little to much, a little bit of pain is ok but it is to much some times.

It’s much better to go find roller coasters you enjoy than to spend time bitching about how the new one isn’t good enough for you. As if Mack exists only to satisfy your impossibly high standards.

Having ridden it 18 times in one day I can safely say its just a stunning and fantastic coaster.

This park also has an unbuilt Mack hyper and (I think) Mack power splash. With those open it would have one of the UAE’s best lineups and would surely draw more people in

Too much is made of the ride being short. I’ve been on rides that are a lot longer but to me most of them are too long where they have been made long for the sake of it so they have lots of forgetful elements.

It does feel like the majority of people who have ridden Hyperia loved it, and you are right in saying that you're an outlier for saying it's not as good as people say, but I get where you're coming from. That being said, for us UK enthusiasts, getting a coaster of this magnitude is very rare, so when it does come around, we are going to hype it up to the maximum. So it was inevitable that some people were going to come off underwhelmed. I think those 4 big elements it has are really good, but then it just ends. With an actual second half and better theming/landscaping, I really think it could have been a top 10 roller coaster in the world. And that's a shame because like I said, it will be a while until we get another coaster as good as this one.

I love Steel Vengeance but can take the shin restraints for one ride during my visit. I did it twice the first time and man my shins were in a WORLD of hurt. I am 6'5 so I think it effects taller people more

I don’t blame rmc for vengeance fully rmc tried to negotiate a simpler layout so the ride or shorter because they never built a ride as tall or large but cedar point pushed for it and pushed for the newer and heavier restraints and trains it’s the first hyper hybrid they made and they fixed the issues with gwazi and zadra with vengeance and I believe Hakugei also there getting better with reliability it’s just I think they should move on to there just I box design without wood like arie force cause the structure is checked and perfectly able to deal with the forces rmc has my number 1 and 2 and dominates my top 10 coasters r
