For $569 you can buy a good amplifier! I hope they don't price themselves out of the market riding on what they used to be.
For that kinda money I don't want Chinese made stuff.
The newer models will have a few mods to them, also the power terminals will fit the power output.

B2 is good shit but the prices are outta hand now not in the dd audio level . The b2 rage xl 12 doubled in price . Ill take a jp 33 over this tbh .
I would like to see high voltage 16v tests. These amps are advertised as being able to operate up to 17.5v - I think that is where the real interesting value proposition would come up. I commonly see amps from D4S and Sundown going into protect when people run them over 15v. Modern lithium banks often need at least 15v to charge at. So that would be very interesting to see!. Higher voltage often leads to higher efficiency, and obviously more wattage
Jay is a super nice guy, but if he wants to make a resurgence here in the U.S, he is going to need to lower his prices. This amplifier doesn't have much headroom compared to some other 3k full bridge amplifiers that cost less and do rated power at certified, where this one failed to do so. Great review man 👍

Half bridge seem to post better numbers but I have the subs just the rage 8s w riot components FREAKIN AWESOME!! I can’t wait to try the amps , Meade’s been using em forever

Bought this amp on sale @ 319$ seems like it starves at 13.2v in my car . Ordered a JS alternator. Hopefully get it working to power, jusy got in my B2 12V3 sub but it honestly shows cliping (guessing) because the amp is starving, for the price i payed for sub and amp i wish i went with sundown instead. Im running 1/0 for all power, including the big 3 upgrade. Hopefully the alternator helps. If not im pulling all and selling all this B2. I had the EVL SKAR 12 /1500w amp, best bang for my buck. Ran clean on a stock altanator and big 3, My son turn 16 so i gave him that complete set up. Hes stoked, im not!! HAHAH!!

not to be a party pooper. in today's market B2 has high priced equipment. the only way that can be justified is bespoke designs and made in sweden. are they made in sweden?

Near all of our designs are bespoke, from Amps to Subs. However, often imitaded.
There's a product for everyone, but we never aimed to be the cheapest. If so, we didn't need to do any toolings at all. There is no point in having custom pcb designs and custom building subs either, all on a B² platform. Not on parts you can just pick off of the shelf.
For those who mentioned Rage xl increasing in price, yes, they are costlier. A lot has to do with the logistics, but also the fact that you can't compare the 2 subs.
The new has an entirely different motor structure, 50% more xmech, better cooling and offers better performance.
It comes with the aluminum gasket, again added cost, but a major cost is also the new surround profile coupled with full Carbonfiber cones and dustcaps. It's not composite or fiberglass, but real carbon.
Many pay an extra $200 for a carbonfiber option, but here it is stock.
Comparing the new xl with the old xl is like apples and oranges.
