@user-ro4wb8do3x No, I never had a problem. Every so often, I would hear a click noise when the car moved for the first time of the day, but aside from that, no issues. Why would you need a shop to install them. As you see in the video, it is really easy.

Does what affect warranty? The Tune? Any warranty claim could be denied if they can determine that your modification directly caused the issue. I had my engine replaced under warranty after this video was posted, so in my case...NO.

Which file are you asking for? I no longer have the Ecoboost.

@@xrmte Yes, I probably went up to about 375 WHP and over 400 WTQ with the E30 tune. However, I pushed my car too hard with the stock turbo and block overheated causing a warp and the head gasket blew. I had everything replaced under warranty though and have not gone back to the E30 tune ever since.

Just keep in m8nd that it is very difficult to remove or change back to stock Tune if you ever need to. See my video about the Cobb access port and Galpin Auto Sports for further explanation.

@BrayZap Unfortunately, this is not the case. When you load the file, even when making a backup, it locks your PCM. I took mine to the dealer and they would not touch it for insurance reasons. That's why I went to a Ford Performance authorized center, Galpin Auto Sports in LA. They were able to loaf a factory Tune file using 'As Built' data, basically resetting the PCM. After that I was able to load my Cobb base map.

I would just search for a Hubcentric Spacer that fits your mustang and get the size that you like best. I went with 1" because I like the way the wheels in the rear stick out a bit.

I usually do it when I change the oil. Not really difficult at all.

​@mustangmodsecoboostgarage6539 ....I totally get it. I too installed the BMR kit on my 2016 GT. Wished I had purchased the Steeda kit. Over all the Steeda Mustang Parts are a step up in fit and finish from BMR.

Use a die grinder and cut the plastic. I personally don't care for the open look, it doesn't look finished or complete, or whatever; but too each their own.

Yes, I had a FMIC and larger intake tube with K & N filter. The Temps in LA are brutal nine the summer and after a few pulls the car started to get hot.

I had an issue with my head getting warped. It was covered by warranty, but I do not run the Tune anymore.

@@mustangmodsecoboostgarage6539 With the ford performance tune or the PD tune that I see you installed 7 months ago caused this problem? Never heard anyone having a problem like this from the Ford performance tunes.

@johnr3734 I was running the E30 Tune from PD. I am not blaming them for this issue, however. It is due to the poor design of the engine and the stress that I put it through at the race track. The thin walled aluminum block and head just can't handle that much heat. That us why I am not racing right now. I am waiting until I can afford to swap out the block and get my large turbo kit before I get back into it.

I don't know, but if you check the ZL1 Add-Ons website they nay have one that is made specifically for that spoiler.

This is the same struggle that I went through. The FP Tune is good if you do not plan on changing to a Pro Tune in the future. Otherwise just get the Pro Tune now.

Thats the other thing i struggle with, i wish so badly i could drive someones car that has the FP tune and see what it feels like. Other thing to note is i just want to livin up the car more, im not a huge performance race kinda guy

@@BrayZap The FP Tune was not that noticeable at first, but then I started adding in some 100 Octane Race Gas and it woke the car up. I live in CA and we only have 91 Octane so it didn't feel noticeable. By adding in some higher octane fuel I was able to get a mixture that was close to 94 Octane which was a noticeable difference. It shave off about .5 seconds on my 1/4 mile time.

Watch my video where I go to Galpin Auto Sports. I had this same problem and had to have them reflashy car using "As Built Data". I had called Ford Performance about this issue and they actually covered the cost that Galpin was going to charge.

The PD Tunewas great. It added the needed horse power and running E30 got me up to about 375 WHP and 400 WTQ. I raced it several times and my best 1/4 mile time was 12.6. I had an issue with a blown head gasket recently and took the car to Ford. They found the engine block and head had both warped from excessive heat. I was able to get it fixed under warranty and have not pushed it since then. I may go back to the E30 Tune once the new engine is broken in, or I may decide to play it safe until I get a built block.

I can make over 370 hp with my E30 tune.

@@mustangmodsecoboostgarage6539 I probably could make a lot more too since my tune is pretty conservative but 93 octane tunes are where its at for me.

I was living in Lncaster when I filmed these. We moved to San Luis Obispo recently which is why I have not been doing as much racing.

I was not getting a dyno Tune, only baseline numbers. I increased my HP to 375 with a Tune from PD Tuning.

Take notice if it happens after rain or a wash. If so then probably the same issue. My issue has not returned since I put the sealant in the connections.

yes i just washed mine and now I had that sound too... I think it's a shorted out speaker combined with the fake engine noise. I noticed my "spoke noise" increased when I revved the engine. It also makes my Siri voice sound horrible and distorted. So annoying

Yes, I have bothered decals but mot both tunes. I am tuned with PD Tuning, but purchase my plugs and some other parts from Tune Plus

Seems like Hou didn't mark the holes in the correct spot. That's why I started in the middle and had someone hold it up while marking the other holes. I hope you can fix it. You might try going to a bigger size, or widen the holes on the wicker bill to fit the holes you drilled on the spoiler.

This is the Standard finish. The tinted finish is see through and smoked for both pieces. Mine only has the smoked, see through piece in the middle.
