@@jk-fe7hb If you watch carefully, I show you how to do it in this video; it’s not too hard. You just need the exposed part of the thigh joint facing up, with the legs rotated sideways and the back of the knees tucked against the front of the body.

I really like Darknet too; it’s actually one of my favorites. Still debating getting an Eroris… there’s always the possibility that it’ll be eventually released as a Final Edition. ✌️

That’s true - and since you mention, I’d love to see them take MCU back up again; especially considering how much their design and engineering has improved over the past 2-3 years.

Awesome! I know a lot of people favor the newer, more sophisticated figures but I really like a lot of the older styles with more simplified geometric shapes - and Darknet is absolutely one of my favorites. In my opinion you should definitely get it! Cool that 52Toys has more recently started rereleasing some of these older figures so we have better options than eBay scalpers. ✌️😎

Very much so. Oddly enough, Diaclones weren't really on my radar until I started picking up AMTS vehicles. The earlier ones especially have pretty detailed cockpits and went looking for tiny action figures to fit in there. Dianauts fit perfectly!

The Golden Dragon is available almost everywhere: Aliexpress, Big Bad Toystore, JoyToyWorld, etc. Dragon Dio, I'm not so sure about... I think that one was a very limited release, and I haven't seen it recently.

That should be a pretty good haul! 😎 I’m not going to get the Pyromancer pair until it either comes down in price or I can get it with the 8th anniversary coin. I’m interested in Landbreaker Elite though; might wind up being the first time I end up buying an AMTS repaint.

@@XMattingly ya i was disapointed that it said the coin version was sold out, but it wasnt a deal breaker for me, because i didnt wanna run the risk of missing out on the figures all togeather but they just released the new race car infintiy box, so im 100% gonna order that later today

I always thought the Acid Ghost/Lithiumon set was overpriced and Pyro/Cryo is another $5 on top of that, so I can't accept it at that asking price; at least not without some extra incentive. I’m _very_ tempted to get both; already have a Landbreaker but it’s such a great set and the Devastator color scheme is hard to pass up. There is also some question on whether the Helldiver rerelease is made off the reengineered Dio mold (like the Dragon Dio in this video). I already have a Helldiver but if it is, I’m definitely going to get it. And hey, it’s awesome that they’re making it available again for anyone who missed out, so you can get one at a reasonable price straight from the manufacturer instead of paying a premium to scalpers! Thanks! “Overpowered” hadn’t crossed my mind, but it certainly seems to be the case with that little dude. I’m generally a little skeptical about heavily painted action figures, but I have to tell you - this dragon’s paint job looks _amazing._ I don’t think 52Toys has done anything like it, before. I do actually have the book, but didn’t get a Tiger Dio with it. I recommend this Dragon Dio, if you don’t have it - no joke, its engineering really is next level. Also, word has it that Dio (re)releases after this one will be using the new mold, so that’s definitely something to look out for! ✌️

They're funny little characters! As far as Beastboxes go, it's like having a troop of little "army men" rodents that form a cube. The Axolotls look like a great set, also! Any real life animal that looks like it's smiling at you automatically scores points. 😁

Yeah, this one is in the style of some other #shorts I did for the Final Edition series (I think I have a playlist of all of those on my channel). As far as my regular #shorts go, the beast-to-cube transformation, end frame, etc. is intended to be a metaphorical funeral for the character. ☠️😱

This one is actually one of my favorite Beastboxes. It's a clever take on a real life chameleon, and all around amusing as hell, to me. 😎

That's an interesting way to approach a collection. One nice thing about Beastboxes is, they come in pretty much every color of the rainbow -- but unfortunately not for every mold, of course.

@@XMattingly Very true but the prices for some of them can get pretty out of hand, especially for pop up store or con exclusives. The Reaper mold has been around for a looooong time. And it cost me almost $160 to get Pulse just to get it in blue. But the end result of collecting only specific colors is the wall of them stacked in the chargers by me computer desk back lit by LEDs looks great.

It’s actually not 52Toys that sets those absurd “rare figure” prices. An unfortunate side effect of limited releases is, you have all these 3rd party sellers who gobble up a lot of inventory off of limited time events and resell at jacked up prices. As a point of reference, Sonicripple is a fairly rare one, but it still sells for a pretty modest price at retail stores… _in Asia._ I don’t live in Asia. But I really wanted it, and without alternatives ended up paying around $120. I want a Pulse also, but $160 is too rich for my blood. In any event, your LED display setup sounds awesome! 😎

That's unfortunate. I've had a couple that were either a factory defect or weak part; so far just the one big crack on mine. I agree with you -- the transparent plastic they use is good, but 52Toys is leaning into that too much on mechanical parts. I hope yours & mine don't break all the way, but I suspect it's going to happen, eventually.

@@XMattingly Totally agree that they're leaning too much into using translucent plastic, especially in areas where pins and joints are placed. I think this trend started around 2 years ago. I've had multiple clear plastic breakages since then. Before, 52toys would only use this type of brittle plastic for accents and highlights.

I appreciate the comment! I could definitely see Acteon2x being a better combiner. Weird that you aren’t able to get ahold of the sea vehicles… I could’ve sworn at least the Elite version was still available, somewhere out there.

@XMattingly I haven't found Any of the Elites aside from the air one available anywhere I only have Icarus Elite and Regular Landbreaker.

@@thwipshot That sucks; I guess I’m behind the time - I thought Deep One was still _sort of_ out there. 52Toys did rerelease Landbreaker somewhat recently, so there’s always the possibility they’ll do the same for the sea set. ✌️

Yeah, that double joint on the inside of each leg is not easy to maneuver, at all - at least going into box mode. The gun is a bonus item that’s available with a dinosaur called Sigma. ✌️

@@user-og7jk9yq7r Oh, I gotcha. To be honest, I’m not sure where you can get this one right now; it’s been out of production for two or three years. I’m pretty sure I bought mine off of Aliexpress.

It’s been a while since I’ve fiddled with this one. It’s not designed to store the gloves “on” the character, but I can’t remember if there’s room in the Box Charger to stash them in there with the kangaroo. Many others can do that (like the dinos with their flame effects), but I think I’ve just kept mine in an accessory tray.

I have three praying mantises; of all of them, Lotus is without question the most well-built, has the highest quality paint job, etc. Vaporwave was a limited release but if you were in the market for one of this mold, this is absolutely the one I’d recommend above the others. Hope that answers your question!

@@XMattingly thanks for that! Vaporwave does have such a nice colour scheme but the limited release does make it hard to find. Lotus is a nice substitute.

I’ve heard that - I personally haven’t had a problem after several transformations. Phantomaster is very panel-ey though, so I could see where those thin plastic parts might be a problem if they get slightly warped.

Yeah, I think so - it’s really flat all the way around, except for the top & bottom not completely covered. Certainly appears that Phantomaster’s main skill set is hiding. 😏👉🫥

Appreciate the comment, Wilgus! That is for sure about Evangelion… it’s odd, but certainly a lot more thoughtful than many other series in its genre. I’ve seen the term “kabuto” but still don’t know what it means. As far as Kamen Rider: if 52Toys ever does a licensed tribute, I’m pretty sure Reaper is waiting for that phone call. 😁
