I have Downspiral, and one thing I noticed with both versions is that the panel the back 4 legs are attached on comes flipped upside-down. If you flip it around, you can see a beak with a 5 mm port in the middle of the legs.
Appreciate the heads up, I had to check that myself - that’s awesome. I literally just pulled this out of the box and filmed it; still haven’t even transformed it. Thanks for pointing that out! 😎👍
Glad to help. I picked up Downspiral at the same time as I got one of their transforming figure stands, and I haven't stopped messing with it for the last week.
@@TheChieftain1117 I’ll probably cave and get Downspiral eventually… may be a while. Those figure stands are pretty handy; especially for this type of figure! I need to take a little time before the evening’s done and fiddle around with this guy. 🦑🥶

I actually had no intention of getting both, and really went back & forth on which one to buy; finally settled on this one because it comes in a cool custom box, awesome bright orange bonus pieces and yes - beautiful transparent blue plastic. 😎 Funny thing is, Downspiral was on sale over Black Friday and I've got that one on the way. 😂💸
so, i just got the dragon fly, i bought a second one, because im impaitent as hell, so i ordered another one on amazon, because i didnt know how long it would take for alliexpress to finally send me the one i ordered from them, and so, i got 1 of them(the 1 from amazon), and omg the joints were SO TIGHT, like this is my first one i had a legit issue with these figures(ya i have some that have slightly tighht joints, but nothing that was/will cause damage), and i heard some people on YT talking about sanding down joints, and sadly i didnt have any sand paper, but i do have a "engraving" tool thing, and it worked perfectly, this is my first time ever doing something like this, and thank god i didnt mess it up
Oof. Yeah, I think those joints have been a common complaint. Glad you were able to finally get your dragonfly! Mine had been stuck in customs for a couple of weeks along with a large order… apparently 52Toys didn’t pay the shipper enough to get it out of the country. 🤨
so, the scorpion i ordered, which was on the 9th FINALLY arrived at a linehual office...which makes me EVEN MORE CONFUSED, because i been waiting for that thing SINCE THE 9TH, and somehow the package i ordered on the 11th isnt coming with it, its still "leaving from depature country/region"(which my scorpion has been stuck at since the 10th).....god i hope that doesnt mean i gotta wait19+ more days for the dragonfly to come
I feel your pain. I'm going through exactly the same thing with a fairly large order with its last update saying "hand over to airline/ready for departure"... and over a week later, nothing. It sounds like things are severely bottlenecking with shipping airlines. 🤷♂️
im not the biggest fan of this repaint, i kinda like the original version better, but that character card looks so cool, kinda more disapointed about missing out on the character card more then then the beastbox its self tbh
I get you - all of that monochrome blue can look kind of “plain”, at a glance. To be honest, I struggled a bit between this one and Downspiral. What tipped me toward Icicle is that transparent blue really is pretty, and those bright orange bonus gantry pieces contrast great and really make this character’s color scheme pop, plus that super sweet one of a kind package. … And the heck of it is, I may end up getting Downspiral, anyway. 😄 Thanks for watching! ✌️
