Being an American, it’s beyond infuriating to see this type of “abuse the system privilege” that you advocated here. You’re advocating and advising breaking the law, the local laws, which is highly disrespectful. You are a guest in someone else’s country… but try that in America as a foreigner and see how you’re treated.

Wow, it's changed. I went when the buses took cash! It was chaotic. How much is the full bus fare? I think it's so little I would avoid the destination chat with bus driver by just saying "hasta el final". Are the buses all one entity now? They used to be all different ownerships. They definitely didn't have air conditioning. Do they now? You needed to have the little Guia T book for the bus lines.

Ok riddle me this-my fiance can’t translate Spanish when spoken by a Mexican man/woman. Is she tired of me asking for translations so she says she doesn’t know-or is the Spanish really that different? I’ve tried to find out every way possible 😂

Worth nothing that Western Union has different sites/apps for each countries! I accidentally signed up on the Argentina site because I'm already here. Had to create an account on the US site with a different email address to fix it. I also needed to use a VPN to get to the right site. This was very helpful though, thank you!

Speaking another language is not a barrier how many millions of people live in different countries and friends are not forever everything in life comes and goes. Once you start a family you will only focus in your in your kids or your husband. Life is a process of changes. Just be happy and laugh in your hard times everything has a solution in life. Nicki, we are researching Argentina for a possible retirement city. We are guessing there is a big cost of living difference from city to city. Seems like BA would be the most expensive...but what about Bariloche, Mar Del Plata, Salta, Mendoza, and Ushuaia...are there big differences in total monthly costs. We speak Spanish, prefer cool weather, and hope to live comfortably on $2000/month or less. We have lived in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and currently live in Guatemala. We have traveled to a dozen or so countries, but have not made it to Argentina yet. We have two senior dogs, that are 17 years old and we are not moving again until they pass away...then probably Argentina for a couple years. Thanks !
