Hi Nicki, good to see you again. In July I'm heading to Argentina, escaping the Florida heat, can't wait to put on a jacket! Lots of luck in your new project to Patagonia! God bless
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your support. I also hope that you have a great time in Argentina for their winter. A jacket will definitely be a nice change from that FL summer. I used to live in Miami so I know exactly how you feel! Buen viaje! :)
Hola Nicki, me alegro que vuelvas a Argentina. Tus videos siempre fueron muy buenos, haciendo una excelente descripcion y costumbres por los lugares que visitaste. Muchos saludos y hasta pronto.-
I'm originally from Paraguay, I lived in Alaska for 18 years, and now I live in Missouri. I hope I can travel in the future and I'm glad you're ok, I was worried after seeing your video regarding leaving Argentina.
So good you are finding your flow. You create the best Argentina videos I have come across, and your authenticity instils trust in the info you provide. In fact, they have helped push me into my family relocation with a serious eye on Mendoza. Deep gratitude! Buena suerte en todo!!
Oh wow that's amazing. That makes me so happy to hear. Thank you so much for this lovely comment. It is because of people like you that I started the channel in the first place. I wanted to help people get to know Argentina and love it as much as me! :)
Hi Nicki. I just discovered you recently on UA-cam, because I am working on putting together a trip to Argentina in November and early December. Thank you for inspiring me with so many wonderful ideas for the trip. I'm sorry to hear that UA-cam got to be a lot for you, but I'm glad that you found a solution for yourself, by taking a much needed break. Best regards!
Wow!! I thought you fell off the face of the planet. I was born in Buenos Aires but raised in So. California where I live now. Your Argentina videos taught me more about my birth place than any other videos I've ever seen on YT. So glad you're going to Argentina. I feel like you belong to us.
Such a coincidence I started watching your videos a month ago because I booked a trip to Buenos Aires. I’ve been just curious why you stopped uploading videos a year ago:) all the best for you!
Nicki, we are researching Argentina for a possible retirement city. We are guessing there is a big cost of living difference from city to city. Seems like BA would be the most expensive...but what about Bariloche, Mar Del Plata, Salta, Mendoza, and Ushuaia...are there big differences in total monthly costs. We speak Spanish, prefer cool weather, and hope to live comfortably on $2000/month or less. We have lived in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and currently live in Guatemala. We have traveled to a dozen or so countries, but have not made it to Argentina yet. We have two senior dogs, that are 17 years old and we are not moving again until they pass away...then probably Argentina for a couple years. Thanks !
I think you would love Argentina. Keep in mind that the further south you go in Argentina, the more expensive it will become. The more north, the more affordable. BA housing has become quite high unfortunately. Cordoba and Mendoza might be good options for you! :)
@@NickiPostsTravelStuff Thanks Nicki, I think we would love Argentina also. Cordoba and Mendoza look very cool, we just worry about the 3-4 hot months and can’t seem to figure out if the high temps also include sticky humidity or if it is dry heat ? We also hope to check out Salta, speaking of the north. Not too many hot temps there. Thanks…love your videos !
@@therehastobesomethingmoore I was in Mendoza at the start of summer and unfortunately it did feel a bit sticky. Salta and the northern provinces get pretty hot in the summer. But maybe you could spend 6 winter months up north, and 6 summer months down south to find a balance.
I'll be sharing more on the cost today, so keep on eye on my community tab. Also, make sure to click on the trip page and sign up to be notified of the details. That way you'll get the email as soon as the trip goes on sale (June 1). I'm not totally sure yet who's going since the trip hasn't officially launched (only a few days away!!), but I've had interest so far from several people- couples, singles, and people from all walks of life. I see it being more of a mix between the two.
I've posted the prices. Let me know if you have any questions at all! :) It's $3099 for the regular price, but you can get an early bird discount if you sign up in the first 10 spots. You only need to pay 25% to reserve your spot, and the remainder 90 days before the trip. You can also sign up for Affirm and pay in increments of 6, 12, or 18 month increments. Let me know if you have any questions! :)
@@NickiPostsTravelStuff Thanks, I had signed up on the notification list and got the email. Unfortunately, too expensive for my blood, for such a short trip. I wish you the best though! :)
I just left Argentina after spending 9 months there (did I make a cheesy little video? Yes I did) and I remember watching your videos before I left Europe. Thank you for being you and putting so many useful videos out, you made my journey so much easier ❤

Or maybe Bariloche or Ushuaia ? Good retirement cities ?
Any idea on general cost? Do you envision this as more singles or more couples going, or a mix?

You need to find a man and settle down and start a family. Why can't you find a man?
Why do I need to do that?
Why are you assuming that is necessary? Are you a Neanderthal?
