Hi do you plan on doing an army spotlight for ironjawz?

The real challenge is finding tolerable people to play with.

Alternate activations seem so much more balanced and immersive. Always hated the I go you go mechanics in games…it places too much emphasis on who goes first and if your opponent has a great first turn and wipes out some key units before you even get a chance them… just makes it un-fun and unrealistic. My army isn’t just going to sit there in a real battle and let the enemy shoot them while they think about what to do when it’s their turn.

In combat, only creatures with Tough that don't die immediately? For all others 1 hit = kill?

Worth noting that if you’re adjacent to a level 1 hill and would normally get cover, if the mech firing on you is on a higher level you do not get the cover from the adjacent hill

I play with gw minis, but you could play with plastic army men, Bones minis. Anything

I only discovered OPR today. This is just what gaming needs. I’m gonna start with a hybrid of OPR and 10th ed 40k.

Question: coherence. Is it enforced that you have to maintain coherence at all times no matter what, or can you send units out of coherence, and they just loose the associated bonuses?

Is there a way to play this with Warhammer minis? If so, how?

12:32 - NOTE: Before determining the location damaged on the Critical Hit Table, you do need to roll 2d6 on the "Determining Critical Hit Location" table, in order to determine if the critical hit goes through. If less than an 8 is rolled, no critical hit is scored. Apologies for the confusion! 😅

I believe you should still roll on Determining Critical Hits table after rolling that snake eyes. It's not an automatic crit, just a chance at it. The bullet punched through but still need to see if it hit anything.

I started playing when it first came out. It was called BattleDroids. George Lucas sued and they changed the name. I probably have 30+ first generation minatures which were plastic models from other companies. The smaller, metal ones were much better.

Played AoS 2nd edition and had a stormcast army so now that my son is old enough to play with me we bought the big Skaventide box… only to find out my old 2nd edition Stormcast are all out of this edition… was enough to make me go look for a new game I could use all my minis in.

Well my first army of choice was sons of behemat…. Pretty easy there but I also really like the skaven and gloomspite Gitz.. those are harder to shop for
