- Review of the stunning Seiko 5 SRPD83K1.
The Combination of the matte hard coated case en the ceramic black bezel and sunburst black dial with heel bright red markers is simply screaming " Black Magic" Darth Vader would have wear one if he knew were to buy it!! This is a watch for those who dare to be a bit different.... You never see them around so you also make a statement about being a bit less ordinair then alle those people around you.. For me this is one of the best watches from the % line. - Наука та технологія

hello, can you guys tell if the red is more like deep blood red or more pinkish red..
I ended up buying this... gorgeous... but I ended up reselling it --- hard to read in the dark. awesome watch during the daylight.
You did right :) it's an great watch and not every one in the block does have one...
waiting for this beauty to arrive. I had another version of it in my bucket list but it is out of stock.
Where's the lume shot ?
the Canadian ones are French/English.. and every night when it changes over i get to see it first in English, then in French.. i love that.. the transparent caseback is beautiful, but as this one comes standard w/Seiko NATO strap, it is actually covered by the factory strap.. drilled lugs and the springbars are meant for straps..
i intend to put this one on a Vostok style chamfered solid 3-row link black anodized bracelet, to match the Vostok 24-hr on my other wrist.. this is not the rolled link old-style Vostok, new-issue bracelets when you buy now.. solid links, drilled proper, not rolled..
Can we take on this beauty metal stainless steel bracelet? Black one will be amazing on this watch
Interesting. Very legible. The indices and the hands appear to be pink in the video. Can you tell me if they are red or pink?
RED, sometimes the light make look them a little pink....

Does the lume last like the regular colour?
It last as long but the red lume is not as bright as the regular green or blue lume Seiko use
it lights up best with white light from an LED source, but it seems intended to preserve night vision.. very red, but not very bright, however it is still very easy to read as the red markers and hands are so large.. all of the red bits on this piece are Blood Red, the shiny bits are polished stainless steel..the hands appear to be brushed, they alternate from shiny to dark depending on the angle.. the sapphire may give a reflection at certain angles in bright light but is otherwise very clear.. btw, my name is van den Kerkhof..
