In this 2024 VLOG I'll be exploring some of Europe's finest architecture, including some incredible buildings: Palace of Justice, Austrian Parliament Building, Vienna City Hall (Wiener Rathaus), Vienna State Opera (Wiener Staatsoper), St Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna Art History Museum (Kunsthistorisches Museum)...

Welcome to my Hallstatt VLOG, as I bring you on my experience of the incredible Lakeside town of Hallstatt, in Austria. I will be doing a day-trip by getting the train from Salzburg to Hallstatt. I travelled from Salzburg to Hallstatt by train really early in the morning. I arrived at the the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Salzkammergut region at around 7:45AM, luckily before all the crowds ...

    This country goes into the trans-gender category: Those peope identify themselves as Macedonians, but are actually Slavs speaking Bulgarian. As for the Macedonian culture, you have to visit North Greece to find out.

      Thank you! I think it was around 7:30… but in summertime you may be able to get an even earlier train, especially if travelling from Vienna! Just it may be busier that time of year, and likely a longer journey from Vienna (though I’m not too sure). Just get there as early as possible if you can! It’s truly special to have the place (almost) to yourself

    The instrumental piece playing in the "wanderer" section is called "Mihriban." It is a very beautiful and important Turkish song. Given the substantial Turkish population in Macedonia, Turkish influence permeates various aspects of life there. As a Turk, hearing the melody of this song in a completely different country made my day. Greetings from Turkey, cheers mate!

    Abner bhattacharya. Haven't been to Poland, but hae been to Communist China. With concentration camps, ghettoes & einsatz gruppe shootings, most people who Nazis killed were goyim, count 20 million operation Barbarossa deaths 1941 to 1944 in USSR. But this could anger, but can killing people in gasvans, famine & other deaths in cc & ghettoes sometimes be justified? I think commissar order & killing pink triangle tattoo men in gasvans can be justified. Being victim isn't enough. How good or how bad were victims before their deaths? Some victims especially Soviet commissars were bad people. But ushmm & other Holocaust memorials martyr Soviet commissars (violent people) & pink triangle tattoo inmates (molesters) killed by Nazis, when those 2 cases are broken clock having right time.

    • @PickupsAreNotTrucks
      @PickupsAreNotTrucks 8 днів тому

      What point are you trying to make, exactly? Yes, some people are piles of garbage, that has zero to do with what happened in these places. Defending any of this is rather alarming.

    • @Abnerbhattcom
      @Abnerbhattcom 8 днів тому

      @@PickupsAreNotTrucks your reply read. It has somewhat to do, when us holocaust museum in dc martyrs soviet commissiars killed in concentration Camps, ghettoes & einsatzgrupp shooting, when i think commissar order was justified. There were also soviet spies killed in concentration camps & ghettoes. I also think to extent that killing the pink triangle tattoo men in concentration camp gasvans & ghettoes was justified. Some of the pink triangle tattoo men molest & harassed young boys & by killing them, never again will pink triangle tattoo harass anymore boys. Every june, the holocaust museum in dc, martyrs these filthy pink triangle tattoo men killed in camps & ghettoes. I know the nazis were murderers, but murderers sometimes kill bad people. Defense lawyers in murder cases, sometimes argue how bad victim were before their client killed them. With holocaust, there is pyramid as far as victims go. Most people who nazis killed were gentiles, count the 20 million operation barbarossa deaths 1941 to 1944 USSR vs. Germany. Yes, most deaths are civilians. Even so, civilians killed by nazis, either supported or were against soviet regime, few were neutral. If you were against soviet regime, you usually were quiet r or risk going to soviet gulag. If you were for soviet regime, then you were atleast a fool & in worst cases, you justify soviet terror though you may not do deeds yourself. No, you should not be killed by nazis, as right thing to do is change your thinking & not kill you, but hard to change people, especially the people who excuse soviet regime in 1930s to 1941. Fact is that many civilians who nazis killed supported soviet regime, operation Barbarossa's 20 million deaths. No, they still should not have been killed in cc & ghettoes, but difficult to mourn those who made excuses for soviet regime though they did not do deeds themselves, if they didn't change views. Anyhow, i dont have vested interest as i am not white. Yes, from late 1800s to 1945 germany, japan & italy believed they were greatest & millions were killed in 2 world wars, including children. None of this should've happened, but did. Point is that Holocaust history is a problem, when the 2 groups mentioned earlier get martyred, when i dont think they should be martyred. I hope that answers you. Finally, i am for peace👍

    Hi Ben. I would not overcook the 'thinking is good' malarkey thing , it's overrated :). I spent a lifetime worrying that I needed to know things, when in-fact I could have saved myself the time and bother working on what I really needed instead :). Life will surprise you enough anyway. For the You-tube channel it might be an idea to cross pollinate with other similar youtubers? Meet ups, trips with other people of the same ilk? It can sometimes help to increase views? You could definitely learn a lot I suppose off some of them. You never know, you might meet the woman of your dreams that way :). Your cinematography is lovely, you could easily go down that route more as well. Anyway, whatever you do, enjoy!

    In regards to channel growth (I hope the keywords don’t get this comment auto removed for spam!), I found that it genuinely starts off slow and feels like it’s going nowhere, then all of a sudden the curve starts. I used Veefly on my other channel on 2-3 videos and noticed a growth after that. I feel the pain though, it’s frustrating - especially when you see other content creators smashing thousands of views with poor quality vids. I think if you keep going with it, the algorithm does take off, but most channels don’t have the patience to keep it going. I just do mine as a hobby and make a few quid here and there.

    Hi Ben, first, congratulations on 5,000 subs. I think all of your videos are very well done but especially liked the videos you did on Auschwitz Death camp and your 2 vides from Austria were very high quality and great narration. Your somber voice on the Auschwitz video was very fitting for all of the video contents. Wish you the very best on building your channel. If you would feel comfortable talking about it, I think a video about the grief you experienced that pushed you to start this channel would be very interesting and could help your audience relate to you more as a person. Another great way to build your channel would be to have Livestreams were we can connect with you live and new people seeing you live may join and even become a new subscriber. I like your videos because I think you come across as really genuine, which many UA-camrs don't. I wanted to comment on the point about travelling while young. The most inspiring person I've met while travelling was actually two people, a couple who I met in Argentina. They were French Canadian from Quebec and were in their 70s. We met them in Buenos Aires (they were staying in the same hotel) and started chatting for a bit. We then went our separate ways but by chance saw each other again a few days later in Mendoza in the wine region. Because it was such a fluke we started chatting again and had a few meals and trips out together. They were fantastic - so enthusiastic about doing things and seeing places. They travelled as much as they could and had been everywhere. Their only concession to their age was getting taxis to hotels rather than struggling with their luggage and not trying to do too much each day, but they were brilliant - really loved life and doing everything, not letting their age stop them from participating. I've often thought about them in the years since and hope I can replicate their positive attitude and sense of adventure. Anyway, I was inspired by one of your recent videos to visit Zakopane so I've booked a trip to Krakow. I'm looking forward to it. Please keep vlogging and I'm sure your channel will eventually get the number of subscribers you want (and deserve)

    Have you been to Heidelberg in Germany Ben. Honestly it’s stunning. The views from the castle. Even has. A funicular take you up half way then a monorail go up to top.
