    The Franz Ferdinand spot is mind boggling. That event kick started WWI, but you can also say that WWII would never have happened otherwise, the Cold War and subsequent wars in Vietnam might not have happened.
    That spot was like the domino spot that changed the world in so many ways.

    Hi Ben, thanks for this video of the 15 best things to see and do in Sarajevo. That free church that was rebuilt in really fabulous. I really liked the Stain Glass windows.
    Were they in a drought when you visited as that water way looked really low and quite dirty? It surely didn't look inviting.
    It must be quite popular to walk down that Bobsleigh track as I have seen several Travel Bloggers walking down.

      I'm not sure Ben, it was the middle of summer so it's possible the water level was low. Unfortunately the river didn't look the cleanest

    Another great video, Ben. Sarajevo is a really interesting place, as is all of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The story of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his poor Habsburg-hated wife Sophie is an interesting one. You've stood where the Archduke was shot. You could have seen the car in which he was shot (complete with bullet hole) and the clothes he was wearing at the time (complete with bullet hole in the collar) at the Heeresgeschichtlichesmuseum (happily abbreviated as the HGM) in Vienna, had you had more time in that city.

      Thanks for the comment Stephen. Yes, when researching I realised the actual car and uniform etc were in Vienna, a city I'll definitely have to revisit at some point!

    Your latest video lead me to this one…
    Thank you for visiting those museums and highlighting the atrocities of the Bosnia conflict of the 1990’s as well visiting the place where the archduke was assassinated and which did trigger WW1.
    I love all your adventures and your very cute style. Finally I think I’ve seen who your partner/ girlfriend is. Wishing you many more safe and happy travels ahead
    Until next time

      Glad you enjoyed. There's certainly a lot of heavy history while visiting Sarajevo, but it's crucial to at least visit the museums and understand the scale and atrocity of what went on.
      Haha - Danielle is actually just a friend I travelled with for a little while throughout the Summer.
      Thanks for the comment, hope you take care too!

    Looks like the Balkans places like Sofia.
    How many days would you recommend?

    • @BenRobson123
      @BenRobson123  2 місяці тому

      I'd say 3 days is enough, but it's always nice to have an extra day if you like to take things a bit slower / or add an extra day trip in like Mostar
