Hey!! Great to see you again. We have found the amount of shitheads using the national parks and reserves. We haven’t been camping much this year, we’ve just built a new house and our 4WD was mainly being used for storing stuff while we lived in a caravan park.

Mate ......out on your own ......but with all your mates (the viewers) Good on you for making this We can all take a lot from this And there is nothing better in my mind of the running creek and a fire crackling away to help clear your mind of inner demons and just having a chat with yourself over a cuppa or cold beverage New to your channel ......but I'm loving it from the east coast Keep up the good work mate KEEP TALKING

Great to see you back Matt, You find some great spots. Is that Avon Valley spot Moondyne Country? Its a shame that camping is so often plagued with twits ruining it for everyone. As a solo camper and being a women can make it a little intimidating when a bunch of loud yahoos rock up tunes blearing and carrying on like clowns. Thanks Matt. I'm 60. If the dickheads turned up like that where i was, I'd ask em nicely to tone it down... If i was ignored or abused, i would take to their vehicles with a bat and take the consequences, no matter how many of them there was. This shit happens all the time now, because nobody tells them NO! Next time they go out they may just wonder, if the guy already set up might just be another "psycho" camper like me. 😁👍

Great little spot along the river, plenty of options both sides. Can be a bit hit n miss with visitors where you camped unfortunately. Great place none the less.

Hello Matt, it was lovely to see you again. I hope the last six months has been good for you, and if you are getting back into filming sometimes I'm very happy. The crummy neighbours you had sounded horrible and I'm right there with you in hating that sort of behaviour. They would have spoiled everything for me too. You asked what we expect from your videos. I don't really expect anything, but I love your videos for their simplicity, lack of soundtrack and focus on the things that make me happy, the views, the bird and background sounds, the running water, wind, the sight and sound of your fire and looking at your cooking. When you get out of your car and we see and hear the river, birds etc, the crunch of gravel under your feet, I just smile and feel lighter straight away. If I can't get away at least looking over your shoulder takes me back to where I want to be. Please don't change. You don't rabbit on for nothing, and when you do talk it's just like sitting with a friend, and your info titbits about this and that are always interesting. I hope you and Kelly are both feeling better by now, and I hope you keep on camping for your own happiness, and share it with us sometimes for ours 🙂.

Good to see you back , great video thanks for taking the time and effort to put it together for our enjoyment. Yep I've had a few encounters with dickheads like that, normally the same ones that leave their rubbish and shit everywhere and generally don't give a shit about anyone else. Dont let others ruin your experience and don't let the pressure of filming it for us ruin it either. Living down south of the river i haven't explored much around the Avon River I need to check it out. I've camped and been to Dryandra Woodlands a few times exploring and love it there, there is just something so peaceful about the Wandoo's and wildlife out that way

Good to see you back. 👍 The timber tower is a tank stand for suppling water for the old steam trains , so you were on the money. They were always the same distance apart as the locos had to fill up wth water at regular intervals, there's always a dam, or sign of one, close by where they had to source the water. There is a particularly good tower at Yalgoo that is made out of stone, Ive never seen another one like it anywhere. On the main hwy thru Merredin there is a big one that is very prominent. They are on the old lines anywhere in the state, some still have tanks on them but most are in disrepair.

Funny, I was only thinking about you today in my old tb48 patrol. I haven't seen your video for a long time . I'm glad you're going okay, mate. I missed you and kelly going on your out it. It's been a long time for me, and my partner be out exploring the western Australia landscape. We are off to Tasmania in October to explore my home . Keep up the good work mate.
