Thank heavens for the Wheat Belt. Aussies' propensity for the coast means that its one of the last accessible, isolated and special place left out there to be discovered and enjoyed. I grew up in the Wheat Belt and find there's a special beauty in it. Great video thanks. :)
Lucky to find a visitor centre that is still operating these days. So many shires are just shutting them down and putting everything online - crazy in my opinion but that is the way of things now.
I miss WA so much the bushland is amazing out there. Glad to see bits of green around the place. Tho it is winter currently yet still nice to see farms getting much need rain
Great video Mat and Kelly,I grew up in the wheatbelt and used to go to wave rock in the 70s for family picnics, I'd forgotten all about the bus until now, what a great find, hoping to get out there in summer to try the salt pool👍😉
Awesome guys, great trip. 👍 Hmmm rooftop tent im keen but I don’t want the weight up there if that makes sense. I know it would be awesome though and no going back now.
Hey guys, nice camping video. I have never camped in the outback, but a friend of mine from school used to go camping with their family and friends all the time. They said it actually pretty relaxing. Although he had a funny story from one time when he was camping with a group of friends. So they were a small group camping out in the bush Middle of Outback, and they go to sleep at night. They have all of their gear, shirts, socks, and everything else in the back of their car. One of his friends, a girl, I think, left the door of the 4×4 open. They went the next morning, when he saw all their socks, shirts and rations all over the ground. They were wondering who did it first? That left the door open, second what type of wild life had gone into the car. They went for a short walk about and found a group of kangaroos with their shirts and socks that were exactly the same type and colour of theirs. That was damn funny story, though. Good video guys.
Good vid mate, I haven’t been out to Hyden for years, but planning a holland track mission on the moto later in the year, looking forward to it more now 👍
I got a ZOLEO for this exact reason. We nearly came unstuck on a trip to Yeranderie. That place is a 3 hour drive minimum from help. A mate was meant to be with us but pulled out last minute. He ended up having a serious medical emergency back at home and had he come with us he’d have been in serious trouble, likely no longer with us. Spend money on the important gear was my lesson after that.
All good and all ya know, but what the viewers really wanna know is are u an onions on the top or bottom of the hotdogs kinda couple. Cause in certain parts of Australia ur decision can get u banned with a hotdog, from bunnings 🤣🤣

How often do you reuse a roll ? That’s a pretty neat trick. 😀😀
( check where you talked about buying bread rolls)
🤣
Hey mate, where did you get the elbow pads for the top of the door?
That’s from Dingo4x4 mate. Can find them at CORE Offroad too.
Camping hotdogs are the best hotdogs
Absolutely!
