I feel you both on the Surgery side of things. My wife had a fall a few years ago which resulted in her spending 5 weeks in hospital and me having to do almost everything (Including showering, dressing but thankfully not wiping her ass) for her for about a year while she recovered. 5 Years later and she still is not 100% and never will be. I know that feeling of wanting to give up the day before as well. I do the same with my wife, I ask her the day before and even the morning of if she still wants to go. I would rather her say no and stay home with me going solo than have her at camp not enjoying it, complaining etc. Your talk about filming and etc made me think, I'm very possibly the same there where Im wanting to film but just don't want to interact and talk. Honestly never thought of that before. Also congrats on the 100th video & going for 4 years. I tend to lose count of my videos but have been running for something like 3 years now although I moved all my content from an old channel to the one I have now. I think I have about 160 or 180 videos.
@@westralianoffroad Damn right it does mate. I went out Friday night/Saturday. Beautiful relaxing night and then a day full of exploring new 4wd tracks, looking for new camps etc.

Glad we’re not alone with the struggle some days, we to are not to dis similar with the night before we think it’s easier to stay home but do make the effort and we’re pleased we do. I think life particularly lately has gotten very stressful especially cost of living. We’ll done, your videos with minimal dialog are really good because sometimes it’s nice just to sit and watch.
It is definitely a stressful time at the mo that’s for sure. Even now having to consider how far we travel with the price of diesel, there’s a lot going on. I’m relieved to hear we aren’t the only ones that double guess leaving the house sometimes 🤣 appreciate the comment mate. Thanks.

Congrats on the 100th episode. Very pleased to hear that you're both back out there and Kelly has fully recovered. My partner had surgery in April and as her primary care giver, I turned into Nurse Ratched (look her up; one of my favourite movies) after a couple of days! 😂 I/We couldn't get away for a couple of months while she recovered. You've shown that making the effort to get out of the house is always worth it.
You must take care of yourselves guys. That place you guys are camping could so be in the UK.. glad you are back out there. we just came back from Cervantes. The most north ive been in WA... I know its not far but the trip did us good.
I love that campsite, although last time we went out there it was about 38C and not too green :) Glad Kelly has recovered. Belle is sitting in hospital as I write this after having a full knee reconstruction today so she is going to be recovering for a few weeks yet.

Thanks mate, I appreciate it. What is it that stops you from leaving? The first thing I would say is to just pick a location that is very close and easy to access. Even if it means you pull in and hang out for an hour. Become familiar with the area and leave. Then next time you know the location. That’s helped me before.
