I have an injury/sprain at the moment. I was doing lateral raises using decent weighted dumbells (which I can easily move for 10 reps) and in the last few reps I tightened my neck and moved my head from low to high to look into the mirror and suddenly something snapped in my neck and traps and I got a sprain and stiff neck which hurts. The only good thing is I now am moving like Batman. Any remedies to this are welcome.
Unfortunately, I can’t provide medical advice. However, I suggest taking a few days or weeks off from the gym to recover. If the pain worsens, please consult a doctor.

@@GymHybrids. The debate over rep range for strength versus hypertrophy has been debunked. Studies show proximity to failure is more important for hypertrophy than the number of reps. I personally do lower rep ranges as they're less fatiguing, allowing for improved stimulus in subsequent exercises.
Today was chest day for me 😃 Definitely love dumbbells since you can get a deeper stretch. Also completely agree about cables, they give you the best workout. Really good to see you recommending push-ups and the use of a weight vest. I feel like a lot of people don't know just how effective those can be. I'm personally a fan of the decline push-up with a weight vest. Just a little over a year ago now, I crashed on my bicycle and broke a bone in my shoulder. Poor shoulder hasn't been the same since. I've had to ease back into working out and slowly increase the weight I can lift.
How did you crash with your bike?
Ive been doing a lot lighter weight and really focusing on more stretch and time under tension, particularly in regards to my shoulders when doing chest, which I have had issues with for years. My shoulders actually feel pretty good now. Plus im older so heavy weights are just not worth the risk of injury with the associated recovery time at my age. I was actually able to do incline bench press yesterday pain free for the first time in i dont know how long. Thanks for what you do.

Thank you for another very informative video. I think for body weight upper chest workout, it is better to do decline pushups where you place your feet on an elevated surface higher your chest.

I know… I also hate the part where I have to push a bench across the gym to the cable machine, but trust me, it’s worth it.

Another great video. Really enjoy these more single muscle videos. I do pretty much everything in this video. Weight vest push-ups are goated 💪 I find them a great way to end the workout. Also, incline hammer presses are great, along with single arm presses. Definitely a fan of dumbbells here, but love cable flies. Barbells aren't the best option for me since I don't have a spotter at home.
Sometimes I do cable presses and it's just as effective as Dumbbells or Barbell presses.Too bad it took me decades to know that,and I dont lose my chest mass at all.
@sergemartinez5843 cables are great. I use to cables all the time, but moved to free weights like dumbbells. I did this mainly because I have a very old now Bowflex and it just doesn't have the tension or resistance it use to have.
@buckroger6456 Lol!! When Bowflex first came out I was close to buying it,but when I saw the video demonstrations on it ,it didn't impress me.Free weights,and cables the way to go.👍👍👍💪💪💪

I always prefer exercising with cables, as they offer consistent tension and excellent stability, which significantly enhance my workouts.
These videos are awesome, I’m just curious why don’t you guys ever include Resistance Bands or Kettlebell usage in any of your videos? There’s a lot of Barbell, Dumbbell,Machines and some calisthenics in these videos, I was just curious

If you have one drink every 2 weeks or so that is not an issue. However if you can go without it you will be more healthy

I think db flyes are awesome if you do them as a lengthened partial (ie. only go up about halfway, don’t touch them in the middle). I don’t know why they have been ranked so badly in this video.
