    I can't believe I watched the whole thing.
    I'm glad you highlighted how important riding a bike and walking/jogging outside really is. I'd get bored out of my skull if I had to spend an hour on the treadmill or stationary bike. But I can easily ride for three hours all around the city. Even parking 20 minutes away from the gym and walking in would be way better than walking on a treadmill.
    As for triceps, you missed the skullcrusher. I do decline bench dumbbell skullcrushers. Trying for the stretch. I've tried the cable overhead extensions but at heavier weights I get into an awkward position with my back. I'll eventually return to those.

      First of all, thank you for watching the full video! This means you enjoyed it, or at least I hope so! 😂
      Regarding the cardio part, I completely agree with you. I also prefer doing cardio outside for the same reasons you mentioned. I hope this video and comment inspire more people to get outside and exercise like we do, it’s such a great way to stay active!
      As for the skull crusher, here are my thoughts: It’s a good exercise, but in my opinion, it’s not the best. Many athletes struggle to perform it correctly because it requires a significant amount of stabilization. Additionally, at the top of the movement, muscle activation drops to nearly zero, which isn’t ideal for building muscle effectively. Is it a bad exercise? Absolutely not! But it does have its limitations. I actually shared this same perspective with someone else who had a similar concern.

      Not a concern I just think it was left out by mistake. Jeff cavalier demonstrates a good way of doing the exercise that keeps your muscles under constant tension

    I'd add the roller wheel ab exercise in there and also I'd prioritise incline chest rather than flat. New research has shown the incline produces as much activation on the mid pecks while engaging the upper pecks more.

    • @GymHybrids.
      @GymHybrids.  25 днів тому

      The ab roller wheel is undeniably a great tool for targeting your abs, as it challenges core stability and engages multiple muscles, including the rectus abdominis, obliques, and even the lower back. However, it’s not necessarily the best ab exercise for everyone. It requires a significant amount of strength and control, particularly in the lower back, which can make it difficult for beginners to perform properly without risking injury. Additionally, the movement mainly emphasizes the eccentric phase, which, while effective, doesn’t provide the same balanced muscle engagement as some other core exercises mentioned in the video.

    Hey Bro
    I gotta question I’m 47 sometimes I find the gyms busy… Mostly I’m training at home with heavy resistance bands, and I do see results… I just like to know your opinions on that ???

    • @GymHybrids.
      @GymHybrids.  24 дні тому +1

      Hi! If you’re wondering whether you can build muscle and stay in shape at home, the answer is absolutely yes! I recommend getting a pair of dumbbells, a pull-up bar, and dip bars. With this equipment, you can effectively target every major muscle group and get a great workout.

    Where was the skull crushers for triceps???

    • @GymHybrids.
      @GymHybrids.  25 днів тому

      It’s a good exercise, but in my opinion, it’s not the best. Many athletes struggle to perform the movement correctly because it requires significant engagement from stabilizing muscles. Additionally, at the top position, muscle activation drops to nearly zero, which isn’t ideal for maximizing muscle growth. Is it a bad exercise? Absolutely not, but it has its limitations.

      That's if you bring your arms straight up. If u have them angled so instead of 90° they are at a 45° angle, the muscle is constantly under tension

      Is this your favourite triceps exercise?

    • @georgefeshias9682

      @GymHybrids. no. I think weighted dips are. But it probably joint second the the overhead tricep extension

    Good Video but you kept on mentioning professional bodybuilders, who clearly are on PED'S.
    A large proportion or maybe the majority of bodybuilders who are not professionals, don't want to or never will use PED'S.
    So these bodybuilders should not have been mentioned as the reality is natural bodybuilders will never look like the bodybuilders you mentioned.

    • @GymHybrids.
      @GymHybrids.  25 днів тому

      It’s no secret that every professional bodybuilder uses PEDs. However, achieving that level of physique still requires immense hard work and dedication. These substances can provide an edge, but they’re not magic.
      I’ve seen many people who use PEDs, but athletes with superior genetics, a dialed-in nutrition plan, and a disciplined training routine often surpass them. This video is designed to show people the best exercises to help them reach their full genetic potential. With good genetics and consistent effort, it’s absolutely possible to build an impressive physique similar to the athletes I’ve mentioned.

    I bet you use machines so much that if you lifted a free weight you'd fall the F over due to instability.

    • @GymHybrids.
      @GymHybrids.  26 днів тому +1

      I use machines a lot because I have multiple injuries. For me, they are a better alternative. However, I have a background in calisthenics, which has significantly improved my stabilizing muscles.
