Best Atari: Recharged Games on Linux!
Today, I'm diving into the world of retro gaming with a twist - Atari's Recharged series. Did you know that you can experience these Atari classics not only on your usual gaming platforms but also on Linux? That's right, Atari has made a move to embrace the penguin-friendly world. Atari made a bold move by updating the graphics and sound in their Recharged games, but they removed the option to play in the original styles. While this might seem unnecessary, they added missions to each game to give players more to do than just aim for high scores. The success of these remakes depends on the quality of these challenges, and some are better than others. So, let’s dive deep into the best games of Atari Recharged.

I don't know if I was doing something wrong, but I tried running FossaPup on a netbook style laptop and it actually lagged /more/ than other distros. I don't know if it was just the lightweight browser that comes with it instead of firefox, but it was very slow loading pages and thumbnails. Linux Mint and AntiX ran much snappier, though AntiX has at least one problem with not auto-selecting the audio hardware.

MX appears nowhere near the top in any measure of actual usage (Stack Overflow surveys, Steam hardware survey etc). Page hits on an obscure website are not a good way of measuring popularity, especially given this is self-amplifying: if I see some random project at the top, of course I am inclined to click on it to see what the hell it is. Further, there has long been the rumor of botted rankings. I have never seen or heard of anyone using this, either

Thank GOD for this vid!!....I have been going CRAZY trying to get id of snaps!...Dunno who green-lighted this as being the "default' for Ubuntu?..but it was a bad move...some of use "grew up" with Ubuntu....Debian..and the ".deb" package works just fine for us..why not make Snap an OPTION for those that WANT to use it and then the ones who DON'T?..can still use the OS they know & love without headaches!?...if this works?...I'll definitely try it...but if it "comes back" in some future updates?...I'll be ditching Ubuntu for good...maybe try OpenSuse or Fedora..or even Garuda...Linux is about "Freedom"...which ALSO means the FREEDOM to install / remove what you WANT!

I have three PC's running in my house. One with Windows 11, one with Linux Mint Cinnamon, and the third originally with Mint Cinnamon. But on that third one (Beekink SER5 Pro mini PC), all sound disappeared every 3-4 days. Mint would just forget the PC had sound. Rebooting brought sound back, but in 3-4 days the sound would disappear again. I installed pulse audio, updated to newer kernels, nothing worked. I have NOT had that problem with Ubuntu Cinnamon. So now I have both Cinnamons in the house.

"Convert text to table" at 5:50 is really really handy! EDIT: I was playing around with this and I entered an extra field separator in my data to be put into a table and it quite predictably added an extra blank field. For example, if your sample text was (quotes not included) "Data1,,Data3" and your separator was the comma then you would have three columns with the middle field holding no data. Might be useful...

I used your method to install Debian Puppy Bookworm 64 on a Lexar 32 GB memory key this morning. A fat32 partition was also added to save Windows compatible files to the USB memory stick. One could format this to NTFS if so desired. My next project is to install Puppy Bookworm to the 64 GB EMMC drive (and 4 GB RAM), five year old Asus non-upgradable 14" laptop. Perhaps i will try dual booting it instead 😃

MX Linux and Linux Mint Debian Edition STILL support 32bit OSes...this is MAJOR for me... I love this! Because you can still make old 32bit computers SUPER useful with the latest apps. I think THAT is better and cheaper than a Raspberry Pi and alot easier to deal with and an Old laptop already has everything...keyboard, mouse, screen, speakers etc vs a Pi you gotta spend more money on and STILL mostly doesnt function better than an old 32bit laptop unless it comes to HD video and gaming.

I installed Snap for its support for the old C&C Generals games. However, the way snap works complicates the file system mounts list you get when typing "mount", so I will be avoiding adding Snap in future.
