IF you like Debian (which is SMART) and MINT---- YOU"LL LOVE LMDE6 (mint BASED on debian instead of ubuntu)... it's EASY- beautiful, customizable- FAST and STABLE-- rock solid!!! (and good for a LONG time)... try it- you''ll like it (as mikey in the commercial use to say).. I've tried over a 100 different distros-- love kde(running bismuth for tiling) and some arch-- like Cachy os, or ARTIX (no system d).. and many others-- but have come full circle back to where I started-- on MINT-- but with debian 12 base!!! (LMDE6)..

Hi mate, really enjoyed this vid. I am new to Linux, at the moment i got a few distros in a VM on my Win 11 gaming pc. But for the future i plan to separate my gaming from my office/ daily work stuff and want to switch over to linux that part. Especially on my laptop wich i cant upgrade to Win11. But its running fine with Ubuntu so far and play around with it to become confident and learn more about it. That’s why such videos are so important to me. I feel a little naked on Linux without an antivirus solution how i used to install on Windows for ages and I find it hard to trust only the software/ OS and the fact/ argument that Linux is not so widespread and therefore unattractive for hackers. I would appreciate any further tips for newbie’s like me in terms of security and what settings may be to change, tips for additional software (gufw, firetools, clamav, etc) and so on. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
