The best way to think of FMA and FMAB and the major differences: The 'original' FMA deviated from the manga and effectively padded out the rest of their story with 'filler arc' after episode 25. FMAB uses the first series to pretty much summarise that within the first 12 episodes by excluding some of the unimportant story beats and then after the 'event' where FMA deviated they instead follow the manga pretty much page by page until the story is complete.

digimon 02 is a sequel to digimon adventure with all the kids grown up and in high school all digimon series are in a different universe

Dragon Ball Z opening you chose was actually the American version as at the time a lot of studios like 4Kids would americanize things like the openings to make it accessible to American kids. AS people started getting access to the original openings and fan subtitles, the practice died out mostly and proved Americans can read subtitles and appreciate Japanese culture as it is. So you can blame America for that opening though most DBZ fans love it. As for the hunterxhunter show. Amazing show, but that opening song never changes for the entire show.

The anime is about the joestar family so per season it's by generations so basically all MC you see is JoJo 🤣

First of all, these are not like pokemon anime. We do not follow tai/taichi's story throughout every digimon shows just like how we follow ash's adventures in almost every pokemon anime, hence digimon series should not be called seasons as most of the series are their own stories.
