In the OG series, we had the trio of genin with Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura (the girl with the pink hair), and their sensei was Kakashi (guy with white hair and mask). I think the difference between Naruto and Boruto is the complexity between them, Boruto has more layers to him hence, the mix feelings about the chracter. Some readers fail to understand the the intentional flaws placed on Boruto by the writers, and him developing from that and becoming a better written character than most shonen animes. So now Boruto has gone from most hated to loved currently.
While its definatley not as good as the og or shippuden its not exactly the worst thing ever. The hate it gets is pretty much overblown even if it isn't unfounded. Presonally I have acepted it for what it is.
31:20 it was actually set to resemble naruto and shippuden from scene 1 of ep 1 of bortuo it's just that they don't like to spoil people of the manga through openings e know that character with ying and yang boruto from ep 1 even if he was interduceed after 100 of episodes, as there is a time skip scene in first scene of anime and manga which is hell a goated showcasing something pretty hype for which people had to wait and watch 78% filler anime and had to wait for monthly manga to release and till this day even in manga after time skip we have not still reached that scene from ep 1 / ch 1 of anime / manga . and it's been more than 5 years
The arguments surrounding Boruto are usually a comparison with Naruto and Naruto Shippuden which is mostly not fair. They’re different enough that we don’t have to compare them. And those who are just too stubborn get it are just Boruto haters, nothing more. Say what they will. Because no matter what, Boruto deserves it’s own spotlight❤
I say you be the judge of his character. And prevent yourself from accumulating bias from both sides that like and dislike him. But personally, I think the people that dislike him are losers lol. He's a kid doing kid stuff, and essentially people don't like that he's not living the same tragic life that Naruto had (or the fact that he doesn't know everything we do about Naruto's journey. But how would he lol. In his world there is no Naruto the anime to watch. That's why I say the hate is irrational). Which is stupid, because this is exactly what Naruto fought so hard for. A peace where kids get to be selfish, and their worries include games and gaining a parent attention. And he's not completely exempt of blame either. He _is_ the father. Boruto's actions ultimately reflect on how he raised him. And I believe Boruto's grievances are justified for a kid his age, the father he has, and the life they gave him. As for the fillers: Boruto still has less that Naruto lmao. And at least in Boruto most of it still are canon. Like, the short story might not affect the overarching arc, but it changes the characters that we see throughout the show. It's not completely scrapped as if it never existed unlike in Naruto. And I love Naruto despite this! So why can't the others tolerate it? I wondered. Well, the validation of hate bias and bandwagon are hard to let go. Gotta keep that dopamine up despite it stemming from complete irrationality.
The "other dude" is their teacher/captain, every team has one. So no, he's not a left out friend lmao. And he's at least 13 years older than them I think. This was just the time when they were finally assigned as a genin team, and a team always has a jonin teacher to be their captain. edit: oh and the reason he wasn't in the last few is because Sarada (the girl) got promoted into chunnin (a level above genin but below jonin), and when that happens you are qualified to have solo missions and be the captain of your team. An so she basically replaced him lol. Consensually, of course.
The reason people hate on boruto is because unlike Naruto they weren't able to grow up and complain like children for the fact that their idol is a family man with responsibilities (still a goat) and that boruto is a much more complex character than naruto...in fact boruto feels like the the naruto we always wanted.
what I've heard is that the boruto manga is really good and almost has the opposite story to naruto where naruto was born alone with nothing and gained everything boruto was born with everything and lost it all. I believe the anime adaptation had been mostly filler with rushed animation which is where boruto got its bad reputation where as the manga has a really solid story
That's mostly true, I think the movie also messed with the show's reputation. But honestly, when you don't have a "real Naruto fan" screaming in your ear about how "bad" Boruto is, the story's pretty good in anime and manga, especially manga😅
@junglekxngtalksanime the naruto movie was pretty bad 😭 the way they had to force the Hinata and Naruto romance was kinda eh and leaves a bad taste in the mouth
You probably like the Boruto openings more because they’re more modern. OG Naruto music is from the early 2000’s and shippuden music is from the late 2000’s and early 2010’s.
Now that u have witnessed for yourself that the show isn't as bad as people say, and notices how good the mysic and visuals actually are i once again recomend checking out the endings for Boruto, they are NEXT LEVEL and some even better tha. The Openings.
If you gonna watch Boruto someday after Naruto series start with only manga canon episodes otherwise you will get bored with the amount of (non)canon anime episodes this show is producing. Those canon episodes doesn't reflect what happens in the manga story but it's you to decide, maybe you like slice of life kind of story telling where each episode is a different side-story.
Btw have you reacted to Gintama OP & ED? Its a show that not a lot of people can get into because it started pretty slow, different from the typical shonen during the time and you need to know a lot of anime and Japanese culture because Gintama made tons of references
People who hate Boruto have either not watched any episodes and are jumping on the hate wagon or they are talking about the filler which Naruto also has so that begs the question why do they hate boruto soo much?
Op 9 is the time when actually something bad happens to him. It's nit like he dies. But something really sad happens and it's also a reason why people hate Boruto. And for the blue robe guy he is not blood related to Naruto or boruto. You can say he gets adopted in that time of the show.
I mean _teachnically_ they are older, in the sense that, you know, humans grow lol. But no there hasn't been a timeskip in the anime (yet! Because it already happened in the manga. So look forward to that haha)
THE REASON WHY Boruto IS HATED [May contain some really tiny\small spoilers] My reason with Boruto is its a good show . I don't hate it yet I don't also really like it too but their are many many reasons why fans don't like this story that much and they are ; 1] The openings you saw looked really cool and amazing , right ? All characters in action and whatnot looked amazing as hell , right ? Well...its actually the opposite when you see the show and find out that out of all these sooo many cool looking characters and stuff you may only see like not even 10 characters that are are useful and relevant . 2] The old cast from OG Naruto and Naruto Shippuden who everyone was so excited to see in their growth time is well...now most of the fans disappointment...[Except Naruto and Sasuke] I mean I understand that kinda half of them are like retired but come on ! There are others who could have given more story too but they are just irrelevant or disappointment at this point . 3] Boruto has a really REALLY slow character development . The LITERAL story revolves around him but even though he is the main character , until recently he was not that protagonist-type of a guy . Naruto and Sasuke are still the badass and amazing [In the manga Part 2 of Boruto has begun and finally now he feels like he has that main character in him] . Though I didn't hate his early character that much because if you know , his story began in a peaceful time in the world where he doesn't have those high goals like Naruto , Sasuke and others did in their time . This generation was like an example if children from our age were in a ninja world but they are not interested in those things as they are more interested in game and stuff . 4] The shows worst thing is its filler . The amount of filler Boruto has is just a complete "L" . Fans who were excited for the story to go forward had just been stuck in filler . THE TYPE OF FREAKING FILLER IN WHICH A REALLY OP CHARACTER LIKE Sasuke WAS STRUGGLING AGAINST A FREAKING DINOSAUR !!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 5] The choice of animation . Now the fighting animation and quality is pretty good . Its just that there are literally scenes where a person would start laughing crazily or in rage or cringe . For Example , one Boruto's crying scene was just weirdly animated , there are multiple openings and even fighting scenes which are EXACTLY LITERALLY a copy of OG Naruto & Naruto Shippuden"s openings or fighting scenes and finally they made a villain looked so epic and cool in their entrance and LITERALLY in the same episode they had our boy Naruto looking like a freaking goblin\elf 🤣🤣🤣🤣There are literal memes of this . These are are top main reasons people don't like Boruto that much or even hate it . Due to these reasons people tell to read the manga of Boruto rather then watching the anime because in manga it still feels more good . Another funny reason is his freaking name , like this boy's name is Boruto . Though his name in a way makes sense its still from another POV feels like "Naruto to Boruto" OR "Boruto as in Burrito" 🤣🤣
eh some reasons you stated arent even valid , boruto as a show is good , especailly the animation (the animation by the end of the first half was a bit rough due to some issues with the studio but overall its good and consistent), and in general people be blind hating since they cant even give one valid reason why boruto would be bad
1. That can be true as it set ups expectations, but majority of those characters don't even exist in the manga. 2. A lot of those shinobis people are talking about have been irrelevant since the beginning of Shippuden. Rock Lee ain't doing shit now if he wasn't doing shit for the last 10 years. Those characters fell off. That's not Boruto's problem to fix. 3.If you're talking about the manga then that's absolute bullshit. He gets crucial character development in the first 5 chapters of the manga. He gets consistent character development in every fucking arc. If you're talking about the anime, sure because the anime doesn't adapt the first arc in the manga until ep 53.
@@memehdi7808 Naruto purists are literal canc*r. First you say oh it has nothing to do with what actual happens (as if all Naruto openings do that). At least it fleshes out minor characters unlike the OG. Yall complain about the same thing that the OG series does just to hate
lol you can drop the "u" pronunciation is Sasuke. The correct pronunciation would be "Sas-kay". (I promise I'm not being petty lmfao) Boruto is a decent anime, when you exclude the fillers of course, but outside of that, it's really great.
Naruto and Naruto Shippuden were more unique in a way and contributed by inspiring anime that you see today. Boruto isn't that bad per say but I found it full of typical anime tropes and kinda a "standard" shonen anime. It doesnt really stand out from the rest like Naruto did.
Thats where Two Blue Vortex comes in cause its completely unique from what the series has done before. In terms of storyline but as well as the vibe is a lot more serious.
4:18 its called shadow clone jutsu. They are basically ninja's who can manifest energy points of the human body called chakra and use it as a technique called ninjutsu. Though not everybody can use it like the kid in green suit you were talking about
TBF, most of the complaints certain OG Naruto fans have stem from a villain stronger than Naruto and Sasuke appearing partway into the series, which essentially results in Naruto and Sasuke sacrificing some of their powers to defeat them. So after that point they're not nearly as strong and the next generation has to step up and start getting stronger. Some people might also complain that it starts with Naruto and Boruto having a strained relationship but that plot point is resolved super early in the series.
Awesome reaction and I love your theories you throw out there! Yes Naruto is Boruto's dad🤣 but I strongly recommend that if you want to get into Boruto approach it with an open-mind and understand that Boruto is not Naruto so yes they will be different also please for love of all that is great try to build your own opinion on the show but anyway awesome reaction I hope you will react Boruto endings as well!👍
Honestly the issue is the anime not the manga. The idiots at studio pierrot decided to make a monthly manga a weekly anime instead of seasonal so the anime is horredously paced and structured. For comparison they couldnt avoid making 40% of Naruto filler and it was a weekly manga, Boruto is a monthly manga with a weekly anime so its about 70% non manga content.
@@justacuteonigiri I said 70% non manga content for Boruto, learn to read before trying to insult others. 30% of the anime is manga content, thats a objective fact, yes some novels are adapted but those like Retsudan and the Mirai arc does nothing to further the main story. They are also poorly adapted like Retsudan and the parent child arcs omiting a lot of important key moments from those novels. Some anime canon arcs that are decent like the Kara actuation or Oaga arcs bu many of them are just time wasters like the Funato and Kawaki academy arc and directly contradict the manga and canon counterparts. Dont try and insult my understanding, Ive read every novel and watched every single episode, the Anime has shit pacing and fluctuating quality that turn newbies away.
@@junglekxngtalksanime No a novel and again it does not further Borutos plot in anyway nor concern the kids. They could have made a short spinoff Naruto series or Movie instead of putting it in Boruto just like retsudan so it doesmt slow Borutos anime pacing even more.
it's not like it's not worth it to watch boruto anime when there are some of the coolest fight in there but the manga is so goated and currently the no 1 manga with over 400,000 more views than the 2nd placed manga with it just being a monthly manga
The boruto openings suck except one. Boruto is a solid anime. But the one major thing that Naruto has that Boruto just does not have at all is the emotional impact. The way you felt for the characters in Naruto is absent in Boruto. It has great fight scenes and stuff but you don't find yourself wanting to cry for any characters or scenes expect maybe one or 2.
Few of Boruto's anime canon isn't for me personally and i didn't like some of the characters(looking at you Chocho) but its still a decent anime Of course people hated it coz old good new bad but if you treat it as its own show its good
The haters of the show is because it is very slow paced with lots of filler but if you skip the filler then you will enjoy boruto as well, it has some of the best moments in all of naruto
@@justacuteonigiri I watched it all and read the manga I know what ur saying since you don’t consider anime only episodes as filler but by definition they are since they’re not in the manga, I do agree that you shouldn’t skip all the anime only episodes since they can be important in growing ur interest in characters but u have to agree that most of the anime only episodes can be skipped and you’ll be fine story wise
All I will say is Boruto does a lot of OG characters dirty and undermines some of the plot and characterization built on years of Naruto Shippuden. Also, it takes a while to like the character Boruto himself and he does become more likeable as the series goes on, but he is defintely unlikable at the beginning, and in order to justify it character assasinations happened. E.g. superman one day has a son that tries to kill him, very wtf until you realize it was because superman tortured him and abused him when he was a child. Which is like wtf, why you doing superman dirty like that, my superman would never do that. Not saying its to this extreme, but you get the picture of how in order to get the story of superman's son trying to kill him, you changed a character known and beloved for the plot to even happen.
@@justacuteonigiri it is not. The author vaguely stated the "anime canon" is canon..even tho the anime canon at times is so loosely tied to the plot causing multiple pacing issues inconsistencies and overall makes the anime terribly written, but also the only reason it's called "canon" is for the sake of making money and tricking people into thinking it has any substance. The story is much more digestible and enjoyable and watchable without the extra terrible fluff
I think the reason people hate on boruto is because the first 130ish episodes are 90% filler, which is stuff that doesn’t matter and did not actually happen, and the filler is not usually enjoyable to watch. Most of the story arcs are good, but I think a lot of people gave up on the show in those early episodes. It also doesn’t help that one of the story arcs in the early episodes completely butchers naruto’s and boruto’s characters with a meh resolution. I do think later episodes are really good though.
And because it sucks? The manga is a shitshow as well. There’s no appeal at all besides the fact that it’s a Naruto sequel. No one would give a shit about Boruto if it was a standalone series.
hmm i mean it was never ment to be stand alone so just shut your teen ass off but i agree on the part that anime should not have existed atleast with it's manga being monthly @@jairekambui7738
One of the main reasons Boruto is disliked is because the majority of the anime is not in the manga, as they run almost parallel with the anime being weekly and the manga being monthly. The anime consists largely of low quality "filler" episodes, that it pretends to be canon, creating a contradictory continuity to the manga as well. The actual manga canon material is more beloved, but many dislike that it diverges from the original topic of ninjas into more outlandish stuff. Boruto as a character is fine but doesn't quite live up to Naruto as a protagonist. The old characters are also said to be done dirty in this sequel.
In my opinion it's an overall solid story so far but the weird double-continuity that the anime has going on ruins a lot of it. All elements of it such as characters, villains, designs etc are significantly weaker than the original, and the strange direction the plot has taken makes me wish it never existed. And in fact it never was supposed to exist, but it was created only to milk the franchise.
@@orenji-sama514Just wait until these last arcs of Boruto part one gets animated. I have to say this is so spoilery xD The openings aren't bad, what is bad is the anime. Here is my opinion on that, since I watched Boruto as well, most of it. I grew up with Naruto and when it ended, even tho most of us didn't really liked the last arcs, it ended well. So when we heard about a continuation with their kids it was just kind of weird you know, Naruto being the character that he is, that btw is my fav, was kind of weird knowing it was going to keep going but as a side char now, especially since the one keeping d series going wasnt kishimoto (the Naruto manga artist) but another person. Second, when it was released of course I gave it a try because I love Naruto verse, even tho I was already feeling meh about it. And Boruto character in the anime was so annoying at first I'm not gonna lie that it kind of got on my nerves xD, the worst part is how they keep nerfing Naruto and Sasuke with stupid excuses lmao at least do something better about it... and worse is giving Boruto the spotlight more and more the series went on, not even other characters are appreciated as they should be (and i mean within the new gen). Example the Teacher that was with the main group, that I was so disappointed to see what he does here after Naruto, or Mitsuki and the other kids that keep being left out the series go on. Overall Idk it just feels completely out for me that they can't just let an anime end and do another one completely different and from 0... but always have to keep going because it was famous.
@@justacuteonigiri I am not complaining of him getting the spotlight, I am however complaining of ONLY HIM getting all the spotlight, if you think only the Main character has to have any meaning and development in a story then I am happy you don't write any books. It is not interesting for only one character to have everything in this kind of manga, it's a continuation of a manga where lots of characters had a meaning in the story and now we see those same characters and their kids (that should b important in the series, I mean, if not, why making them important at first?) get trash treatment. But let's see if they change that. Also I feel like they have lots of stuff that repeats itself, and others that make things in Naruto OG pointless. But that's just my opinion so don't get mad :)

I feel like there is no purpose for Konohamaru, or for the other kids besides the team 7 as well, ps: Sarada is being rescued like a useless char right now, I hope she didn't really resist the power only bcuz she is in love with Boruto so cliché lol but wtv I hope they do her nice and we got to see her shine, same for Mitsuki, Shikadai etc. But thats smth to see, how they handle it, hope they do it right after all that time they spent. The reason Boruto is such a bad anime is because it's mainly just filler. I felt the anime was too kiddy, like it wasn't meant for Naruto fans. I hear the manga is good, but I can't stand this anime. I know the newer episodes got better, the fights are good from what I know. But the anime was poorly executed. I really like your reactions to openings and endings❤
Boruto ending it's very good too ..I hope you react to it soon 😭👏
I’m glad you like them! I hope to watch Naruto, Shippuden, and Boruto 🙂
12:33 its their teacher
Boruto anime already ended, we are on timeskip in the manga it's peak.
Well the first part ended
You should watch the eds for naruto, Shippuden, and boruto next
Bro, react to the endings!!! They're even better
I am waiting for him to realized Boruto is Naruto's son. It took until opening 4 to have an idea haha
Sa su Kay 😂😂😂 ah that was great. Love the analysis of the openings
Now that u have witnessed for yourself that the show isn't as bad as people say, and notices how good the mysic and visuals actually are i once again recomend checking out the endings for Boruto, they are NEXT LEVEL and some even better tha. The Openings.
No fr they didn't have to go that hard
@@GreySeashell-j3m But we are glad they did 😎
The last opening is a bit edited, but they only rearranged the scenes a bit, so it's fine.
Boruto anime is just overloaded with fillers. The manga adaptation portion is top notch.
How did you not no from the 1st opening BORUTO IS NARUTO SON BRUH

The Boruto Endings are also fantastic (even moreso than the OPs) so I hope you consider checking them out as well even if not soon 🙂
I loved the endings too 🙂 I posted my reaction over on my Patreon free for anyone to watch

Boruto is a bad and pointless sequel story.
well, to be fair, naruto filler is a lot better than boruto filler, but I agree thats the reason theres a lot of boruto haters

Boruto is the son of Naruto
23:56 don't worry not a spoiler but Naruto was exhausted in that shot after a fight

THE REASON WHY Boruto IS HATED [May contain some really tiny\small spoilers]
My reason with Boruto is its a good show . I don't hate it yet I don't also really like it too but their are many many reasons why fans don't like this story that much and they are ;
1] The openings you saw looked really cool and amazing , right ?
5] The choice of animation .
Though his name in a way makes sense its still from another POV feels like "Naruto to Boruto" OR "Boruto as in Burrito" 🤣🤣
yapposaurus rex
eh some reasons you stated arent even valid , boruto as a show is good , especailly the animation (the animation by the end of the first half was a bit rough due to some issues with the studio but overall its good and consistent), and in general people be blind hating since they cant even give one valid reason why boruto would be bad
The openings make the show look cooler than what actually happens. op 10 is the biggest example completely different from what happens in that arc
Naruto is over. Get over it geez 💀
@@Claw5540Exactly, Naruto is over. Boruto is pointless.
@@jairekambui7738 Boruto is still going good how is it pointless lol

@@memehdi7808 Naruto purists are literal canc*r. First you say oh it has nothing to do with what actual happens (as if all Naruto openings do that). At least it fleshes out minor characters unlike the OG. Yall complain about the same thing that the OG series does just to hate
I hope you also bring the Endings, especially the ones from Naruto Shippuden and Boruto, which in my opinion are even better than the openings
lol you can drop the "u" pronunciation is Sasuke.
Though not everybody can use it like the kid in green suit you were talking about
9:32 he looks just like him
TBF, most of the complaints certain OG Naruto fans have stem from a villain stronger than Naruto and Sasuke appearing partway into the series, which essentially results in Naruto and Sasuke sacrificing some of their powers to defeat them. So after that point they're not nearly as strong and the next generation has to step up and start getting stronger. Some people might also complain that it starts with Naruto and Boruto having a strained relationship but that plot point is resolved super early in the series.
What's TBF means?
@@geogreyepa7674 i think it means "To be fair", but i am not 100% sure on that

Honestly the issue is the anime not the manga.
The idiots at studio pierrot decided to make a monthly manga a weekly anime instead of seasonal so the anime is horredously paced and structured.
For comparison they couldnt avoid making 40% of Naruto filler and it was a weekly manga, Boruto is a monthly manga with a weekly anime so its about 70% non manga content.
you saying its 70% filler proves you have no ide what youre talking about
@@justacuteonigiri I said 70% non manga content for Boruto, learn to read before trying to insult others.
@@FallenPhoenix-ml5mnisn't the Mirai arc aka Steam Ninja Scrolls from another spin off manga of the same name??

Few of Boruto's anime canon isn't for me personally and i didn't like some of the characters(looking at you Chocho) but its still a decent anime
Of course people hated it coz old good new bad but if you treat it as its own show its good
The haters of the show is because it is very slow paced with lots of filler but if you skip the filler then you will enjoy boruto as well, it has some of the best moments in all of naruto

The u in Sasuke is silent btw.
Good rule of thumb for Japanese names is to just forget about the u
Ooh thank you! This is good info 🙂
Boruto anime is actually decent if you skip all the filler.
Btw i hope you do mha openings and endings on yt
MHA is definitely on the agenda of shows I’m 100% going to watch the openings for
Skip the filler? sooo hes not gonna skip one cause all of it canon
Son, not relative
Watch re zero opening and ending
Reacciona a naruto desde el capitulo 1
Yeah, I like the Boruto openings more than a lot of the Shippuden ones
Creo que es obvio que Boruto es el hijo de Naruto no XD?
No one would give a shit about Boruto if it was a standalone series.
hmm i mean it was never ment to be stand alone so just shut your teen ass off but i agree on the part that anime should not have existed atleast with it's manga being monthly @@jairekambui7738

btw if you finish shippuden some day please do boruto manga first and only watch peak fights in anime , as it is better that way
22:52 nah Boruto is just shitty anime without any logic, with a lot of fillers, it's just really terrible continuation
OH so what your saying is Boruto is exactly the same as naruto and Naruto shippuden. Gotcha
I read the manga and I’ll honestly rate part one boruto a 7.8-8/10,and the anime might add more things to make it 10x better. (The last arc of part one Boruto losing everything is the best arc in Boruto)

Reaction endings Naruto and Boruto.
Bro just watch Naruto. It's not that long compared to One Piece
I have to say this is so spoilery xD
The openings aren't bad, what is bad is the anime.
Exactly, it’s a pointless sequel made to milk the Naruto brand.
Youre complaining about Boruto the main character getting the spotlight, that just shows whatever you have to say is pointless
Bro, do you know how stupid this sounds? Since when was giving the MC the spotlight a bad thing? Lmao. Also, the side cast get their shine in the anime original arcs. Mitsuki literally has his own arc.
@@TheMaliciousOne767 First, I'm not your bro xD lmao and learn how to read, AGAIN, I said ONLY HIM. Of course the mc has to own most of the spotlight.
That's what I meant, they made them important at first (yes they had their own thing at early episodes) and now they are gone ... since Kawaki is here actually they didn't have many important scenes.. but wtv.
Also, I am only giving my opinion, if it sounds stupid then you are not forced to dwell on it BRO why are you wasting your time here with my "stupid" opinion. Since the beggining of my post i said "just giving my opinion". If you have a different one, well good for you, just give it in the comments for the creator of the video to read :) take care.
