So despite being termed as Prime (term first used in 2009), DISC, PIC, SNW, LD, PROD, SECT 31 (plus all novels and comics) aren't Canon. The Cnaon Trek is officially once again ENT, TOS, TMP MOVIES, TNG, DS9, VOY, TNG MOVIES, and all the Offical Continuation Novels and spin-offs.

See, this is my problem with YS. I realize he's a kid, and a genius, and his social skills are pretty much nil (through no fault of his own). Discovery gets a lot of criticism from people who think everything in the future will be like we thought it was in 1969. Yes its gets a bit emotionally confused sometimes which I'm not a major fan of. But the premise they use and the storytelling / acting are just outstanding. So many haters that read other people slating it on social media and follow them rather than genuinely form their own opinion. It really is the most retarded peer pressure mess. Just enjoy the show, they put one hell of a lot of work into it. If its not your thing - fine... your day has passed. time for you to be quiet now.
