Whar you said about Seattle,your hometown, is so perfect about many hometowns, it’s just not the same. Not like we are old grumps, but that the laws and economic structure has not impacted the working class like it did. Good luck finding work, I really hope you find something interesting and enjoyable. My state has nearly 8% unemployment and many counties with 10%, increasing rental vacancies and empty new builds. Amazon has low volume, it’s wildly being kept quiet.

I had a fantastic life growing up in the mountains of Colorado. But the high Alpine mountains is not my genre. I far and away prefer desert over mountains. But even more so I need a sandy beach. I've been in Mexico on the beach since the beginning of November. I hate to leave. But I'll be back in February. 😊

I'm the opposite of you Aaron. I was born, raised and still live in San Diego, CA but my dad was born and raised in Tacoma. I've driven so much in the desert to Las Vegas and I absolutely HATE cactus 🌵🤣. And every time I drive up the 5, as soon as I'm about an hour into Oregon, I finally feel like I can breathe. The PNW is my happy place. Enjoy Arizona!

Yeah living in the woods with mountains all around in Washington state in the winter you need to head for an open area when the sun comes out

...and those of us who grew up in the planes (midwest) ara amazed by both! (Although I feel claustrophobic in places like Ashville NC. I was born and raised in the Midwest but at least us Chicagoans had Lake Michigan so it FELT like an ocean. I'm much more comfortable near water, but I do love the desert.

Washington has it all...including long, dark, wet Fall/Winter months. Totally understand snowbirding. We pay a price, figuratively and literally , to live in this gorgeous part of the world. Yay PNW!

Spend years in Tucson AZ Then, 30+ years in Bremerton WA. But I couldn't afford to go back. To live now. Wife wears her Seahawks jacket, and two days ago, she met a retired coach of the seahawks.

Shiftsmart, ask brock about his job. Loves gas station etc Go to the elderly nursing home/center n put in an app there or the mail center there or go to the big tent n ask alot of ppl. Im finally coming back to az in the beginning of january, hope to meet u n sara
