We are stewards of our earth and as such everywhere I go I leave it better than when I arrived. Pass it on….we are the keepers and can show by example. Well done.
My late hubby and I always cleaned up every ones trash they left behind but I’m with you I’d never pick up that nasty bucket. I really love your videos. You guys are such a great couple. Love you both so much. You hubby is great to you all that cooking and everything else he does for you he’s a good man but hey your a good woman and great to him. Love your kitty so much . Take care and hope your dental business goes well. Sending big hugs to you both 14:52
Debra! That is so incredibly nice of you to say! I'm a very lucky girl. I'm glad people have been able to get to know Aaron and see how awesome a person he is. Thank you, also, for picking up after others when you don't have to. I know it makes a big difference. ❤
Some years ago, I went to see my kids in GA and we went to a place that was, then, free camping, had no electricity and a community water place!! I was going to camp there and they were coming by to swim and grill/ eat but the 1st day I played a game of who can fill a trash bag for to see who was spending the night in the van with me and the rest sleeping in the tents!! 9 kids in all and 5 adults and 10 bags full of trash left that weekend!! My daughter was working at Dollar General and took all those trash bags to the dumpster there for me when they left that weekend!! I stayed the week and it felt like every day me and which ever kid spent the night with me was walking around and picking up trash!! The place now has a $5 a night fee and someone lives in a travel trailer that stays there!! We still enjoy going there and don't mind paying the little fee!! Because it's so much cleaner now!! Love the video ❤❤
Mary mentioned maybe someone left it to stop people pooping everywhere lol but if that is the case, it’s a little misguided. I wouldn’t go near it if I was tent camping 😂 Thanks, John!
We went back there and someone had occupied the site, but we’ll be back this week to clean it up, if we can. We clean up every site we're in, even the last campground we were at. I appreciate that he cares as much as I do about this stuff. Thank you, Stephanie!
I’m sure the Rangers know some people are slobs and that they appreciate fully those who do “clean up” after those said slobs! Thank you for all you do! I enjoy your channel! Safe travels! 🇺🇸😄
Some people can be such self-entitled takers. Cheers to you two and thank you. That spot is definitely worth cleaning up. I will keep my eye out for your update after you go back next week :~)
I took 11 contractor size bags from our camp spot in Phoenix!and I could have gathered 11 more. People love to blame it on the nomads and the homeless but all signs pointed to the trash coming from partying locals combined with local contractors dumping their excess crap. Beautiful river!
I think when covid hit and everyone thought it would be great to go camping, it brought a lot of people who have no respect or investment in our beautiful forests. Kind of like the vandals at historic sites in Europe. As people build and live close to our parks, the more trashed they're going to be with locals using them as party places. Have some respect people!
Never get a crown without a root canal🤷🏼♀️ the crown will always be weaker, mine fractured prematurely then had a hard time getting insurance to even pay for 1/2.🤷🏼♀️
We’ve never actually camped in our RV in Washington and I was really looking forwards to it. That’s really sad. Thank you for watching and commenting, Mark!
I just love you two! You are so decent & respectful! Another excellent video! Thank you very much! We look so forward to seeing you both! Sorry to hear that people are so rude! It’s sickening that they ruin God’s beautiful Earth! Be safe & God Bless you! 🙏✝️💕💕❤️
I really think if the forest service had more money, they'd be doing public service announcements online and tv. I remember when we started having "don't litter" signs and ad everywhere. we need this again.
Unfortunately, what Washington State is going to do is shut down boondocking areas. It makes no sense that people Bring. it in. They can Take it out. We are camping at Burke lake. people pile their garbage next to the outhouse.😢
Many in this country, are losing their willingness to be respectful of other people, any authority, sacred spaces of history, art and faith as well as our beautiful earth. Completely self-centered. It's very disheartening and scary. It's encouraging however, to see you two care and pick up what you safely can. Thanks for that!
I totally sympathize with your dental issues. A very expensive but needed journey for your health. Beautiful area but the idiots that don't pick up after themselves is disgusting.
That area is absolutely beautiful! It's much like the Canadian Pacific Northwest, hence, British Columbia. But the island, Vancouver Island, is even more beautiful! It's much more dense, like a tropical rainforest. However, the province of B.C. actually does have a rainforest on the mainland: (info copied form Google) The Great Bear Rainforest is a global treasure that covers 6.4 million hectares on British Columbia's north and central coast - equivalent in size to Ireland. All British Columbians have a stake in protecting it. Just google images of it. Isn't it too bad that not everyone thinks like we (the responsible people) do?
Yes! BC is the only other place that looks like WA to me. Thank you for the info! I knew the term temperate rainforest which is the wooded areas here but had no idea about The Great Bear Rainforest. Just beautiful! Thank you, Tamo! ❤️
@ThatRVOverThere The Tongass Natl Forest in SE Alaska is also a temperate rainforest. Very similar to Great Bear Rainforest in BC & Hoh Rainforest in Olympic Natl Park in WA.
Maybe authorities that administrate these campgrounds and other natural spaces could somehow award people who pick up other people's crap. When better it would be able to force those that dump their waste to do a work crew to clean up other's waste (I would DNA could be extracted from their piles).
CSI: National forest, that would nice! wish people would just have some personal accountability but i guess that’s not the world we live in. thank you so much for your comment, Craig! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great video so sad some people don't respect the national forests, and free spots to camp.its a shame you guys have to clean up after others just to enjoy nature.
If people continue to disrespect our forests, we may all lose the privilege to camp in wild spaces. When I collect other people's trash (w/gloves & grabber) I sometimes find credit card receipts. I snap a photo, contact local authorities, who then contact perpetrators by phone/mail.
it's sad that other people just simply don't give a $hit about others and leave a mess behind not knowing they are screwing themselves too for the future if they want to free camp again and they are screwing everyone else as well
How is WA State for providing trash cans along the highways? I tend to pick up more garbage when I know I can dispose of it at a public dumpster/trash can. If I'm hitting the local Walmart trash can on the way in, I'll only grab what will fit in my little bag after a week of camping. The worst I have seen is trucker rest stop in AZ with a large dumpster. The surrounding countryside was littered with trash, like you had to work harder to drag your garbage down the road rather than put it in the dumpster.
Trash cans are not prevalent other than outside stores, but I have to ask Aaron because I think we saw big dumpsters on the way up to this area. He always remembers that stuff lol. The truck stops with the dumpsters definitely have the most colorful hillsides. Thanks, Ralph!
It's always blown my mind for people to go out into nature and then trash it. You would think that since they're going out there they were doing it because of the beauty so why do they then leave all their trash behind? A grabber tool is a great investment. I keep one in my truck and clean up as much as I can. I'd hate for someone to see a trashed campsite and think I'm the one that did it.
I think the same way. I don't want people to think we did it, so we clean up. We also clean up because we want these places to be available for everyone in the future. We saw a package of two grabbers at Home Depot the other day. I think we'll go back and get them. Thank you, Kent!
Thank you, Corinna! We went back, but someone was in the site. We’ll be back this week to clean up, if we can. We do clean up places we stay if it needs it.

Absolutely love the scenery in ib Washington State 😍
It’s our favorite place! Thank you, Niecy! ❤️

wow thats amazing! it’s so great you can continue to enjoy a favorite camp and have it thrive! thanks for sharing this wonderful story!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
UGH, having to redo a root canal infection... been there done that! Dental work is way hit or miss. commiserate comforts.
I'm really considering having them just pull it and be done. No guarantees it wouldn't get infected again. Thank you, Done!
Neat location. Can't believe they left behind an entire bucket. What happened to that place?! Yeah, I wouldn't go in the water either!

@@ThatRVOverThere OH, and it's a great video too. Forgot to say that part I got so carried away about the trash!
@@MaxMiniTV Nope! Too late!

yikes! thanks for commenting!
People never fail to disappoint. 🥵
the unfortunate truth! ❤️
Unfortunately, it's been like that for a long time. So many places I used to go to are now gated off.

Hi, Mary! It’s a shame we have to rely on signs, but I know exactly what you mean. Thank you!
It’s common sense to dispose of trash in proper trash cans, bins etc! I doubt signage would matter!!
@@rhondatraywick3724 one would think. I just think we need a large public service campaign again. And I guess more trash bins?
I'm always cleaning up trash, but I refuse to clean up shit and used TP. It's everywhere. 😢 ☮️

very gross! yep they will shut down the boondocking and they probably should, unfortunately
I'm so sad to see this disrespect for the land. It hurts to see old stomping grounds like the Gifford Pinchot treated so poorly.
it’s tragic and upsetting ! such a breathtaking area❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
