Thanks for these 30 minutes on Kale, Eve. The tastiness and cold-hardiness are both a revelation. I used to snark at it because it was such a mainstay in Scottish vegetable gardens they called them kailyards. I.e. the best my ancestors could get out of the ground, so probably not too good. The first important English dictionary-maker, Dr Johnson, defined oats as 'what Englishmen feed their horse and what Scots eat'. We were poor, and, worse, cold.

Beef tallow is very very good for you . And olive but stay away from all-seed oils saturated fats stay away from vegetable oil and that coconut oil you're using is not good for you either lol . Just go to search on UA-cam and type in world renown heart surgeons supporting carnivore diet. And go down the rabbit hole. Lol I lost 140 lbs in year and half. And be prepared when you go down that rabbit hole to hear things from these heart surgeons tell you that they've been telling you wrong for 50 years. And Guess what ? Them veggies you grow are not good for you either. We're meat eaters we have been meat eaters for over 100,000 years. All the vitamins and everything we need is in the beef. And after year and half Just had my blood work done recently. Results come back the best it's ever been in my life.

We love cooking with lard and coconut oil! We avoid seed oils like the plague! We do use a little avocado oil from time to time, but that’s it. Love that you involve the kids!

I am from Australia and yes we get snow and a little ice but boy when you see the size of where you were and how many years to arrive at that size how in insignificant we Humans are. Actually learned a few things from you including the parchment trick. GF dough is very dry and crackly. A bit more oil to moisten and your rolling trick might save the day. I'm 75 and gluten sensitive so I've had to learn to cook all over again. Thanks for the info. Grace from CT.
