Thank You So Much for making this channel! So much better than the show. No added drama or extra unneeded stuff, just the interesting parts, you guys doing your thing. I Love caving and would love to go see that place with someone that knew it like you. How fun and interesting. Anyway, Thank You for the awesome filming and editing hours, it is really worth it to us!
Thanks Eve & Eivin for taking us on another amazing adventure ❤️🏔️
Great job!! Thank you for including us on your adventures.
Your Family Lives a Life of Adventure. Can’t think of anything we do in the Midwest U.S. that comes even remotely close to this Experience. 🤔👍🙏
You guys are letting us see so much more than the show ever did thank you. If they bring the show back I hope they see what you and the fam have been doing and use it! Much love from the lower 48.
Love watching you all it does not matter what you are doing. Love it!
So
Glad you and Otto have developed channels here on youtuwe , sure have missed you
This is so nice to see you Kilcher's doing these vlogs. I've watched all your documentaries. Your hardships you have shared makes us feel so blessed living in England. It does look awesome in the summer there. The winter makes you or breaks you I'd imagine. This video on the mine is fantastic.
Don't lie on the internet
Thanks for taking us along What a great adventure 😮
Thanks for sharing your new adventures with us.
The journey has been over a decade now I suppose. Thanks for the ride-along. It's always great seeing you as with your many friends and family members. ♥
Whoa! I am getting dizzy when you were by that cliff! Thanks for taking us in the mine
That is a very cool mine, thanks for sharing.
That’s Awesome,Thanks for sharing this !!
I’m glad to see you doing something fun! Life’s not just about working all the time. It’s the adventure along the way. 😄
Wow that was an awesome show ,the scenery is much different near the mines. Great video, glad yall got to go see the wonders of Alaska. I've been watching and following all of u for such a long time, enjoy the daily activities yall have!
Eivin and Eve kilcher, yall rock👍
Loved every minute of the vlog.
Hi Eivin ,Eve and friends👋, Wow this place is a 💥.
Thanks for this tour ., now I know where Crome comes from🎉
We took a foliage Sun .
We ended up riding up the ridge to devils
den. It's a hole on the ground full of
Cristals. We would take buckets down there fill them up then take them home and sort through.
JO JO IN VT 💞🍁
Fantastic to look at your adventure in the mine. The travel there was sketchy for me. Appreciate you sharing.
Wow! Mother Nature does not disappoint! ❤
Enjoyed watching you explore the mine, there's no way I would have gone in. Since being trapped during Desert Storm I have serious PTSD in small spaces and large crowds.
Wow, that was wonderful trip. I really enjoyed all of it. I could not go into the mine that deep. Would make me nervous. The best part of the video was see Eve and Eivin together being a couple and having fun. Thanks
Good morning, Eivin. I love how you include the children in your adventures. You are giving them a solid education that money can’t buy. A year ago, I went to Alaska with my younger son. It was a mom and son trip. We enjoyed every minute of it. I’m looking forward visiting Alaska again. In my trip, I stayed in Wasilla. There is a little bakery/café place I loved. Homer looks like a nice place to visit.
In the past, my husband and I planned family trips with the boys. Those trips were full of educational fun activities. Now, my older son is doing the same with his daughters.❤ Funny thing is, I thought they didn’t remember but they do. My younger son says that the reason he loves hiking, camping, and having a vegetable garden is because I taught him. 😊Thanks for your videos.
OMGosh!!! My stomach physically hurt when you went deeper into the mine. I was worried about you guys just watching this. Glad you made it out safely!!! May God continue to bless your family always!!! 🙏🏻💙🙏🏻
WOW!!! Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Sad you didn't find any old dynamite boxes that were still whole or some other tools from the day but still super cool :)
How is August doing and where is he at if you don't mind me asking it'd be cool if you'd let us know on your next video thanks God bless
Amazing the labor and dedication back then to achieve that. Let alone with no fancy equipment.
Much respect to them...
Thanks for sharing.
5:20, Eivin was like, "Not sharing my beer."
Is there any chance that you would have a show/video with the whole family on it? Your family has become such a big part of our lives-watching your Kilcher family on TV. I was so sad as were many of your followers from your TV show when no farewell or anything thanks to D-channel. And now we have you thank goodness! So any chance of all the family on an episode of your channel? Love to you and yours and thank you for sharing your lives with us.🌸🌞🌻
Another great video 👍👍
Eivan, thanks for sharing your experience in the cave what a great adventure to have. I have to agree with you about some of the land you was talking about that did not look like Alaska at all.
David B.,Utah. 🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤❤.
Thanks for linking from your shorts video. Made it so easy to find. Great videos. I cut the cable 5 +years ago & the only show I missed was yours. So happy I can catch up with y’all. Like finding an old friend.
One of the better mines I've seen. Fun to go along with you. Thank you.
great video and tour of the mine. interesting place , thank you for sharing , and what a beautiful view on a beautiful day ,
Sooooo cool! Thanks for showing us places we may never see for ourselves!
Thanks for the trip, up Red Mountain!
This is so much better than the crap on Discovery
Glad to see you guys are still having fun. Stay safe.
Love your videos but get very nervous when you're that close to the edge of the ledge Glad you made it back safely You make a nice pair one that's a safe mother and a fun father
Great video. Beautiful scenery and places we would not see unless you showed to us. Thank you.
Thanks for the video guys
Great adventure guys, thanks for taking us along!
Great views for sure. Nice hike. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I was thinking the start of the trail looked familiar, then you mentioned Last Frontier, that's it. The mine was really cool.
Good post, Great adventure!
I'm with Eve-outta there!
Awesome trip ❤😊
The mines of moria lol love the LOTR
Luv yr work Eiven..Iron Chromite is found in Sea of Tranquy on the Moon ..just think that maybe red Mountain was once connected to the Moon before it separated to become our One and only moon ..crazy hey ..maybe the closest you'll get to moon ever.thanks Craig
This is amazing, seems like every time we go up on Red mountain someone says it feels like we're on the moon... Mostly that said because it's so different from our other local geology. But now it has a whole new meaning for me. Thanks for this
@@kilcher_homesteadEiven you can look up at the moon now ..find The Sea of Tranquility with yr Telesope or yr computer and find SOT and show yr children that really even though remotely but that Red Mountain near Saldovia has a real connection because the moon did come from earth and maybe just possibly Alaska & Beyond....you need some of that Iron Chrimite in yr home at least..Craig (from Melbourne Australia)
What a life. Thanks for the adventure.
WOW! AMAZING!
Hey there from Australia. :) What an adventure 😁😁
Yup out if there in nano seconds. Wow too sketch for me but I can see the adrenaline junkie paradise!
🤪
Omg; i was heading to windy from seldo 10 years back. Lots of black bears but awesome trail making. Think i will bring 5 gallons of gas and a good stihl next time.
I would enjoy a video of you and family visiting Yellowstone, or Grand Canyon.
The stripes in the rocks were very cool to see.
Keep expecting a grizzly to jump you guys on the trail ! Lol
Omgoodness that was scary and not for me. The girls got out and I don’t blame them. Great video content though 👍from the UK
G'day Elvin Eve and friends,, all the woolly mammoths they find preserved in peat bogs are young males, because the females all walk around the long way not willing to risk it 👍.
Trying to cook my through your cookbook. Love your videos. Long time fan.
Awesome! Thank you!
That opening that you came out of looked very unstable. Looked like it may have caved in there opening out to further up on the mountain.
Adventure? Why there's no adventures in Alaska....❤ The content !!😁
Awesome 👌 ❤
Awesome adventure
Did anyone else notice the two eyes 👀 looking down at him when he shined the light up the ladder in the mine shaft 😳
I just love you guys. BTW I bought your cookbook. Awesome!
Awesome! Thank you!
That is definitely a tripp I would like to try
I love your videos! I've been a watcher of Alaska the Last Frontier for many years. You guys need to come to Costa Rica. Please tell me which extendable tripod you use? I need it haha. Thanks
Best 360 monopod with extendable tripod base
We were in Costa Rica last winter for a month and a half. It was wonderful. We went for a long stay because Eve wanted to put the kids in a Spanish immersion school. It is very important to Eve and I that they both learn another language
Thanks🎉
Getting inside the tunnel is an scary adventure
That u bolt is awesome
You should definitely take it home and put on the wall or even use it for something
Id love to come stay in the wilderness but I'm just a loser that will never get to do anything like that
I just work till I die
You guys are awesome and I appreciate you guys
Cool video
Scary but amazing
fantastic video
I think your wife is the smartest one in the group she's walking ,it's gorgeous I love Alaska even though I haven't been there
Beautiful area up there. At the beginning I thought you were down here in the Southwest. What kind of beer was Eve drinking with the moose on it?
kool tools!!!>..hahahaha...Got to love them cool tools!!
Would those numbers be a claim number? Very cool to see the history and, also think of the hard work that went into building that mine.
Oh I know, just mind-boggling how much work went into that mine
It reminds me of Moab
crazy all the equipment they just bought used n eat behind
Good call! 👍🏽😊❤️🇺🇸
Thanks bro
Did you pick up that U shaped piece of metal on the way back? It looked so cool and you might be able to repurpose it for something.
I didn't.
That was a really great tour of the mine. Thanks for sharing
It would be cool if you pointed the camera forward to see where you are going, views etc
Puting out a good video.
✨🙏🌊💙🌎💙🌊🙏✨
great video :o)
That was fun
Cool
You couldn't pay me no amount of money to go inside that I'm not scared of a lot of things but that right there I'm scared to death to do is go down in the mine
The hills have eyes 😅😅😅😅
Claim corner markers?registration numbers will be on record.
I wonder how many tons of rock had to be mined for the crome package of a 50s model car.
That is very good question and kind of terrifying to think about
Do you know of more mines??
They came out with a mountain bike in the 90's and it was called a ''ROCK HOPPER''...LOL....i think it was a Norco
Specialized - my 1st mtn bike!
Psalm 34:9
King James Version
9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. Gods blessings over you
what was the mineral they mine used for Elivin
Iron chromite, when refined it's used to chrome things shiny motorcycles and bumpers
Shelob's Lair
I’d hike up to it, but l’d NEVER go inside.
