DUDE!! 3 years after you made this video Thanks a lot!! I just came in from the test drive and this fixed my problem, my mower suddenly wouldn't go up hills, I thought for sure it was the trans going out and after watching several videos on how to change the fluid I stumbled across your video. No way it's that easy, I never get lucky with this stuff but sure enough even though I blow the grass and dirt off of every time I use it junk was caked on up in that area causing the pedal to not release all of the way. THANKS!!!

Quick question so I replaced the carburetor on a Coleman minibike 200c & it runs fine but when I full throttle after a few mins it just turns off any ideas what I could do?

I have a question what if you have a pwk carb I have one and when I start it it revs way too high and it takes like 20 seconds to turn off can you show how I can fix it

What’s the model of the engine?

Hopefully someone can help me, i have a john deere e130 which lost power while cutting the grass. When you engage the blades, the engine, instead of a higher output, the engine drops down lower and very little wind coming out of the chute. Even when starting it up, the engine drops down, seems to have low to no power.

when you cleaned out the end of the jet does the hole meet up with the other two holes going the other way?

No matter how much grease, or how careful you go about it, you MUST BLOW IT OUT with air. I have a blow gun with a long skinny nipple that last thing, I stick it in the spark plug hole and blow it out very well (Compressed air, of course). Safety glasses required! You will be amazed how many small pieces blow out from inside the engine, you can even see it on this video. Blow it out real good! Also I let my red lock tite set for a couple of days before I fired it up.

Great video. I've noticed my valves on my 4 cycle cub cadet weedwacker tend to tighten after heavy use. Is that an anomaly? Usually on my mowers they loosen up after a couple of years and I just tighten them. Weird. Loosen , tighten, engine's are funny

My TB30R a little slower on take off, thinking belt or idler puller, but tonight noticed pedal slower coming back to full drive tension position....Pressure washed this machine before front and back maybe missed some crud.....Saw your Vid makes guud sense...I like this rear engine it's has lots of torque (I'm 225lbs) better than my Honda powered Craftsman 42" and close to my other 28hp? Troybilt 54" 3blade. SEEing straight in front without the Engine Wayyyyyy Better I cut a lot of grass on our farm with a 2000' Grass Ru nway. I hsve a issue where the return spring for the carb i konda bend it but fixed it but now i start on choke but when i slide to run it idles weird and wont take off

old video but still works....i will caution ya though. talked with an older than me lawntractor mech.....he says yeah if the brake is obstructed,,,,but a little looseness in the drive belt is cause the pulleys are made of a plastic fiberous material...i.e. wear faster with the tighter drive line

Can those gears be greased or lubricated to keep them from grinding or wearing down so quickly? The reason I ask, I hear a light grinding noise in mine now, it's not as bad as the one you just repaired but I would like to know What can I do to prevent that from happening to soon. If yes what type of grease can I use?

I have used Hipa carbs in the past, and they are great replacements for OEM.

Thanks for this video. I was going to try running seafoam through it but I think it’s best to just replace. The previous owners hardly ever ran the gen so I’m guessing it’s pretty gummed up. Best to replace and properly maintain the new carb. I’m basically a rookie so this was super helpful!

Picked up the same mower for free wouldnt move. I noticed if i pulled the brake pedal towards me it would move fine. Cleaned all the shit out and now it works perfect
