To be completely fair, L'Arachel at 20/6-ish Valkyrie can basically solo Chapter 18. Her Avo is high enough that stone isn't a realistic risk, and her Res is near-capped by that point, plus WTA so the Gorgons wet noodle whenever they actually (Rarely) do hit.

As someone who was largely frustrated and disappointed in Path of Radiance after seeing it get an absurd amount of hype, this is incredibly cathartic to find. Thank you.

I would arguement of investment of Delthea in SoV is mitigated by the fact that outside of dungeons, she generally does not compete with a deployment slot

Some good comments here: I've thumbs-upped @MythrilZenith proposing Miranda as a better archetype and @MrMarket1987 looking harder at the "low starting stats" idea. If Echoes Est is an Est, what about Mathilda! Echoes Shadows of Valentia is only FE I've played so far and can discuss. Its promotion system means Est, Sonya (if chosen) and Mathilda all join at the same time (for the route they are on) and the same number of level-ups (nine) away from promotion. They join well before halfway through the game, though when three quarters of each team have already joined before them. For a benchmark, Deen (alternative to Sonya) and Luthier (before Mathilda) start four levels ahead, relatively. Write Sonya off as "bad unit" if you like, but Mathilda is the one with some starting stats actually below what her class base should be, and with the expected growths (with the promotion stats-safety-net system) to make her good. So why single out Est? Jesse joins two maps earlier with one extra level-up needed, but do we take him all the way back to the seabound shrine for his intermediate promotion, or do we make him wait until the dragon shrine which will put him a skirmish and a map behind the others? Delthea certainly stands out, joining three maps and a dungeon later (than Mathilda and Est) with eleven level-ups to find, and being the last unpromoted recruit on Alm's route with Conrad the only less-than-fully-promoted one to come on Celica's.

One of the worst maps in FE ever only for those silly hidden warp tiles. I somehow saved Eyvel but missed the rings. 😅

First playthrough of this game for me. I started Fire Emblem itself 1 month ago, Finished 7 (I liked it), 8 (I loved it), dropped 6 (too much torture for me) and yeah, midway through 9 now (I have no social life, in case you're wondering). I do want to play nearly all FE games, I think I'd just skip FE1 and FE2 in favor of the remake. Regarding PoR, I was very hyped about it, I usually do love stories and I like easy games (see: dropped FE6) but OH MY GOD THE SPEED. It is indeed so excrutiantingly slow. And although the story is alright I'm not actually that into it. I do prefer the support system in PoR though, and the skills are also an interesting mechanic. Overall I'm disappointed, I expected more from the hype, but maybe there's still time for me to like it more.

Mostly discussed in the other video - but I think y’all are sleeping on how broken Provoke would be on General. All of the sudden it’s very easy to do training projects - low level units can sit next to the general without fear (with planning) and, since a general won’t double, he can chip them into great position for the training unit to get the kill. I’m also envisioning some Warp strats where you can’t quite reach the objective with a warp of your boss killer, but he can easily clear the path or let them wait near the objective while all enemies are diverted away. It would be hype af!!! I’d love to see the strats that come from that haha

Interesting video i can see why someone wouldn't really like it because of the animation speed (which wasn't such a big problem) funnily enough that's something that people would critique Pokemon Platinum too (which i also don't mind). For gameplay i don't mind that its easy would be my answer. I personally prefer a game with an engaging story with well rounded characters and serviceable gameplay. Than a game with basically little to no story or even a bad story but great or even outstanding gameplay (if i had to make a decision). For recommendation well i disagree too. It is a pretty good game for beginner's to get into the series it teaches you well enough the fundamentals of the series and it gives you a a lot of great story moments, and boss battle quotes. As for looking up a plot summary why? Video games are an interactive media why would i look up a damn text devoid of music cutscene and art given to those narrative scenes? A UA-cam video isn't a replacement for expiriencing such a game too and if speed is such a problem emulators have a speed up botton. Anyways thank you for your perspective on the matter. (You should also probably adjust the volume of yours background music)

Hey Akira, I think the standard gameplay recap is better than the funny moments type of recap. A combination of both wouldn't be so bad if it was kept under 15 minutes. That's just my opinion, though. 🤷

Iron sword uses in prologue in this video: 7 on first bandit + 59 on boss = 66 iron sword uses total. Iron swords have 46 uses. The boss has 21 HP and heals 2 HP per enemy phase. Assuming no crits and not healing against the boss, you'd use at least 2 uses for first enemy phase + 4 use per turn (2 dmg per turn) for 9 turns (18 dmg) + 1 final hit = 2 + 4*9 + 1 = 39 uses. Including the first bandit, that's 46 total uses required to complete the chapter. Each vulnerary use is a turn not hitting the boss, costing you 2 more uses if he's injured, meaning you can't kill the boss if you use even a single vulnerary while he's damaged. In other words, you must attack the boss every turn and pray to RNGesus that you don't get hit 2 times in 10 attacks with a 40 hit in 2RN. You do have a 1% crit which lowers iron sword uses by 2 if the boss has more than 2 HP, so your first 37 attacks each have a 1% chance to allow you the iron sword uses to heal if necessary. Out of 37 attacks, you have roughly a 69% (nice) chance to not crit a single time. 40 hit in 2RN = 32.4% true hit, so you have a (1-0.324)^10 = 0.0199... = about 2% chance to not get hit a single time. However, Lyn survives 1 attack, and the chances of getting hit only 1 time is (1-0.324)^9 * 0.324 = 0.00955.... Adding these chances together = 0.02947... or about 3% chance of surviving the prologue. tl;dr - without infinite use iron swords, you can win after about 33-34 attempts, after which you'll likely have no iron sword uses and 6 vulnerary uses, or perhaps (if you crit once) an iron sword with 0-2 uses and 5-6 vulnerary uses. If you wish to simulate this without having infinite use iron swords/weapons, complete the prologue normally, toss your iron sword, move on to chapter 1, then apply the 0 str/str growths.
