Founded in 2016 by the Pépin family, the Jacques Pépin Foundation strives to enrich lives and strengthen communities through the power of culinary education. Through our efforts to raise awareness about the importance of food and cooking in our daily lives -- including this UA-cam channel! -- we hope to inspire future generations of food lovers to discover their own “Happy Cooking” for improved health and well-being.
The JPF also partners with Community Kitchens across the country that provide hands-on culinary training and mentorship to people facing barriers to employment. With our network of grantees and workforce development partners nationwide, we are reaching at-risk youth, veterans, citizens returning from incarceration, and more. Together, we are opening doors to new opportunities and helping to create a more inclusive and equitable society.

Jacques, Love your show and I have cooked many of your home favorites. When you cook carbonara, try mezze linguini rather than linguini.
The only thing Id change is the onion, instead of white onion id use a type of salad onion or maybe even shallot.
His manners and cooking are so elegant, no silly moves or unnecessary show. This is such a joy to watch. Thank you for this channel!

I do my eggs in cold water bring to a boil, then shut off cover for 15 minute, and works great,
I add mayonnaise, Dijon dill relish red onion , diced dill pickle and fresh dill
Curry powder in mayonnaise is a delicious dip for chicken nuggets

Jacques, I prepared this for the family last evening. Everyone loved it. The only change I made was to add celery to the vegetable mix. This is a great winter meal - just add good crusty bread and a salad as you recommended. Thank you
That’s not true carbonara. No parsley No cream. You must add the grated cheese to the eggs and turn it into a paste. But. I love Jacque so I don’t care. He can do his own way
Lintels have to ALWAYS be soaked in water for at 4-6 hours if not more. When on Gods green Earth will this concept be grasped, despite being in the Indian subcontinent for 250+ years.

Egg salad with curry on white bread is my mother's signature "fancy" sandwich. I've never made it with mustard, but will try tomorrow! So glad to see that Jacques uses store-bought mayo- such a waste to make home-made mayo if you are going to flavour it anyway. I actually use "light" mayo in flavoured mayonnaise- I can't tell the difference, and I appreciate being able to reduce the calorie count. My mpther uses butter as a binder instead! Thanks, JP, for continuing to show us how to make simple, healthy, and beautiful food!
