I know we call it broiling rather than grilling, but I totally understand his instructions. I haven’t broiled (grilled) whole lobster but I have for tails. They’re amazing and I kinda prefer it over boiled.
Weird story, I love lobster but had a mishap last summer. Me and mom got some lobster in Cutler Maine, our usual place, ate some that night and the rest I broke up for lobster salad. The shells pricked my skin and two fingers got infected. In November the middle finger of my left hand was amputated, the bone was eaten away by the infection. I will probably use chain mail gloves from now on, what a freak thing!
That roncaruso says the same thing on all of Jacques' videos. Bashes other chefs for some reason then tells you there are more important things in life to worry about. They're just a useless troll.
I really love lobster…my favorite seafood. But I have to be honest…watching him prep them (especially the female) was very unappetizing to day the least. I think i’ll just stick with the tails.
I watched it because it’s Jacques but there’s about 0% I would ever even try to prepare a lobster for two reasons,I have a seafood allergy, but more importantly the lobster is a creepy lookin thing.
Been watching Jacques for 40 years ,never get old
No one cooks and explains better than the legend.
Thank you for sharing your immense knowledge with the world for free, Jacques Pepin!
I love this chef. I immediately watch a new posting, when I see it.
Jacques is a beast! Is there anything he doesn't know how to do?
Like a boss he cut that lobster up! Love Jacque!
Like a boss.

Awesome....

Thank you master chef. I could never kill a lobster with the knife.
It looks more humane than boiling it
You always learn a lot watching the master. But you also may think, doing it is that easy...

В санФранциско хороший ресторанчик, прямо возле аэропорта
I'll bet the TV cooks like Rachel Ray, Guy Fieri, Booby Flay, Gordon Pansey, etc. don't know how to prepare a lobster like master chef Peppin.
If any of them do, it's probably Ramsay.
@VideoMask93 LMAO. Ramsay is now doing reality cooking shows. What a chef.
Guy Fieri, Bobby Flay, and Gordon Ramsey are all trained chefs who can and do prepare lobster. No need to bash other chefs to praise chef Pepin.
@@roncaruso931 He's still a chef. Just because you don't like him doesn't mean he's not one.

I love lobster but could do without the head as presentation. Not a fan of my food looking back at me. lol
I love JP, but this video didn't teach me anything about cooking a lobster... which is the most important part.

Well I thought it was illegal to keep Female lobsters with the eggs since they are producing baby lobsters!!!!!!
Too much work. Octopus is easier.
