I main zealot, I only pick up ammo when I'm really low or other players don't need it. It grinds my gears when I see some zealots picking all the ammo before veterans can do it

Great video! Do you know if Perilous Combustion and/or Wildfire are worth taking with Inferno? And also if Warp Splitting (+100% cleave based on peril) does anything with it?

If you are collecting grims that is on you, I will point them out so you can get it. But I trade out collecting grims as a task so I never need them.

To be fair about the ammo box and health pack, a lot of times people could use a pack or box but it wont be fully used (wasted potential healing or ammo) OR the thing i see happaning SO SO MUCH. Somone drops the pack down in the elevator just for a med station to be in the next room lol. Its so painfull when you see that happen😂

To speak on ammo... It's a touchy thing. Part of me wishes they'd change it to be a global pickup that gives everyone ammo cuz some people do play this game in a stacked party but if we're honest, most players are playing quick match and queuing into random games. In those situations ammo is a point of contention for everyone. It harbors animosity when people grab too much. Kinda like having a medicae station that only has 2 charges and everyone is low on HP. There's no communication. If I've got no ammo, and I'm low on HP and don't get to heal, guess what? I'm now a spotter. I refuse to engage in combat unless strictly targeted. Can't risk melee cuz I have no health and I can't even engage heavies at range cuz I have no ammo. Needless to say, those matches don't often end well. So what do I do? The only thing I can do. I hog everything in every game I play because the only thing that matters to me is my ability to actually participate and play the game. Since nobody else in a random group seems to give a shit, I shouldn't give a shit either. It's just humanity. This is how we are. And that's why that system needs changed.

Just shoot it at carapace unyeilding with a shield or full armor, and if it kills them, it's a good weapon.

Im completely new to Darktide (or even the whole Warhammer franchise) but your video (this and the beginnner guide) made me understand A LOT. i was really confused and didnt understand a lot of the mechanics regarding weapons and unlocks. Especially regarding stats of weapons.

Oh! Is that why I play with players who are higher level than me. I started playing this game yesterday and was wondering why there were players playing on easier difficulty, with me being lvl 1-2 haha Love the game tho 🔥

How about instead of ruining people's lives by punishing those with server delay, they consider improving the goddamn framerate? I shouldn't be running this at an unstable 35 to 45 in a laptop that can handle Wuthering Waves at mostly 60 or 50, when the game is at literal bottom graphic settings.

I'm not hot about the disconnect cheese. They left it in so long that if it was about stopping people from cheesing challenges, it is pointless given the amount of people already having done it. Now people are subject entirely to the whim of their own system/net/game instablity or perhaps even kicks if that is included as disconnect.

It's like when me and my friends look for the side or hidden objectives like relic skulls or the heretic idols and the 1 member who's random speed runs ahead and dies, spams chat with thanks or profanity at us asif it's our fault he ran off and died. Even tho he saw us doing it and we pinged him to come back and collect it.

Huge of you to do this vid! It finally makes sense. My squadmates having come back after months of other games were all like, maaaan this game is just so much better than SM2 is at its core - and we all LOVED SM2. I’m convinced if they were in power armor or things like this upgrading system were there from the start, this game woulda been a hit

Thanks for the overview. I tried this weapon in the psychanium but was not impressed with the weak damage output (every other weapon could kill much faster) so I didn't see the point in working with this weapon. I might give it a try, but DOT does not seem to gel with my normal gameplay (which is "Kill stuff as quickly as possible).

Good video. To go into detail about Mastery XP At 1 minute 22s it is x6. Roughly it gives 25xPower level for same family and 4xPower Level for different weapons. Power 500 = 12390xp same weapon group, 2065xp for different weapon group Power 380 = 9510xp same weapon group, 1585xp for different weapon group Power 300 = 7590xp same weapon group, 1265xp for different weapon group Better rarity doesn't matter so it is most efficient to sacrifice greens. MASTERY XP FROM MISSIONS Much like the amount of Plasteel and Diamantine available to collect on a mission. It appears that the amount of Mastery XP you get from completing a mission is a fixed amount solely determined by the difficulty. Modifiers do not seem to influence it at all. Low Intensity Damnation gives the same amount of Mastery XP as an Auric Maelstrom Difficulty Mastery XP Sedition 10800 Uprising 14400 Malice 19000 Heresy 24000 Damnation 32400 Failing a mission gives partial credit that seems tied to how far you got, as with XP and dockets. As usual when it comes to XP and resources; Operation Rolling Steel is the exception because it is shorter. So it takes 8 Damnation missions and a Uprising mission to get the full 271155 Mastery XP to get to Mastery Rank 20.
