How is fan the flames vs blaze away?

Is the distrupt destiny tree broken right now or am I stupid? The 10s perk for example just wont work

I'm fairly new to Darktide so I can tell you I hate level 20+ people who go into quickmatch on the easiest difficulty then complain about people being slow. Like mate I'm still trying to work out what gun I like using most not speedrunning

Currently I am level 21 psyker, and so far off 4 different staves, Inferno is my favorite! After almost 1500 hours of DarkTide, I've finally decided to get my last character level up, and boy, oh boy, I've been missing out! Thank you for this informative video.

The interaction between bloodletter and thunderous is very very interesting on the chain axe. I use the Mk. 4 of course but that blessing combo really adds some additional usefulness against the bulkier enemies that are already getting focused fired or will get stunned by the chain attacks. I use the Mk. 4 with all of my human builds now. Even Psyker as a quick close range executor.

1. Remap tag to shoot button. 2. Stop running ahead and aggroing more enemies that are patrolling and never letting your team catch a break 3. Stick together 4. Be considerate of other teammates needing heals/ammo (shows you on the hud)

I don't like the look of the sickle but I like it's performance.

Sensei, does warp splitting apply to the fire? And what's the benefit of the cleave for the Deimos sword?

Late response, but in reference to your point about dialogue. I prefer this form of content. A conversation/dialogue feels more genuine and easy to follow than the role play stuff involving classes/etc. Both have their charm, but definitely appreciate this content!

I have to force myself to use the chainaxe simply because I like the M15 chains word too much. Lopping off heretic heads amd still chewing through elite health is always fun

Vermintide 2 have better melee combat in my opinion, tho Darktide is "magic".

I like the art direction and the new space marines2 that’s the only thing that game is trash. It’s boring. I was more wanting to play this game than that game. The repetitiveness on that game is not fun.

The most important QoL for me is: - What happens if you get disconnected/crash from a game? You can't get back into it?

Tier 4 penetrating flame says "apply 4 stacks of 1% brittleness for 5s, stacks 20 times" so does that mean you can potentially apply a total of 80% brittleness at max stacks? Or does it mean it applies 4% per stack but still maxes out to 20%.... im just confused about the wording of the blessing, particularly the t4 version

it looks extremely similar to vermintide 2. i wish more people still played vt2, really cba to grind again from the start

So you might've mentioned it, but I think I missed it. Gas doesn't stack, right? Like, if two people throw Gas Strikes, or if I throw two Gas Grenades, or I use the Gas Strike and a Sterilizer and Gas-Dog - they're just restarting the blind effect timer and keeping the damage for as long as the scum is in the gas itself. But two instances of Gas doesn't do more damage, right?

Why use the chainaxe to one shot elites when you can use the hammer to one shot EVERYTHING

How much will I suffer if I skip "Sustained assault" in the bottom right corner? I'm really tired of going for Blades of faith (although they are useful). I skipped "Sustained assault" which gave me points to still pick "Second Wind" and "Enduring faith" but I went down the "Immolation grenade" path instead.

Nice video, learned some cool interactions between thunderous/bloodletter and the infinite flamer. Flamer isn't OP because the ammo is so punishing it feels pointless to build around it. Building a character around something you can use for 2-3 minutes of a 30 minute run feels pointless. Just how I feel about it though. Obviously Zealot is designed to be melee focused. Love both marks of the chainaxe though, I've been loving it on melee veteran quite a bit. :)

hmm..I tried it and it looked pretty cool in the Psychanium, but the (Auric) reality is that all too often you hit some random poxwalker in a horde and not the elite you wanted to clip with your chainaxe special attack.

These videos are great but you should further emphasize the downsides to any builds through conjecture of possible scenarios. And go over any compensations, either through the talent tree or play style required to sustain the desired effect of the build. That way we have a more well rounded “buyer beware” mentality.

Also, also, I love the flamethrower in VT2, but I am not a fan of it in DT for some reason and the same with the throwing knife (mainly b/c I suck at it though I have been playing a build with both recently to see what I can do with it) and this build uses both 🤣 I do have a build that's conceptually similar to this just with an eviscerator and the knives traded for nades.

The irony that this 'theme' build may very well become a meta build is funny, but goes to show that people should experiment and brainstorm new builds (which I am terrible at).

I too would use Thunderous with Bloodletter on a chainaxe.

I know this video is a year old and I can admit I just started playing this game a couple days ago but with that being said you may have a point. But I play on Xbox and there is ZERO communication between players. Everyone is going for themselves. No one knows the map. When trying to get the objectives down it seems just like me the rest of the team is confused too. Just my opinion.
