8 Hour Layover in Tokyo, Japan #Japan #travelvlog
PART 2 of my 8 hour layover in Tokyo Japan which left me puzzled because prices were a lot less than I expected but also it has a lot to do with the fact that the Japanese Yen's strength has fallen so much to the USD. So any of you thinking about traveling to Japan this would be a good time! I would love to go back someday and really explore the city!

First Impressions of Tokyo, Japan 12 Hour Layover The BEST City in Asia 🇯🇵#Japan #tokyo

Crazy to think 100 years ago this was one of the most aggressive countries on the planet. Almost complete opposite of the reputation of Japan now. I didn't get to explore as much as I would have liked but I can say for sure I would like to go back someday and really explore the city more. I am sure there is charm hidden in pockets of Tokyo unimaginable and honestly shocking to many foreigners v...
The "BEST" Mangoes In The World Guimaras Island, Philippines | Expat Travel Guide | #philippines

I was in Iloilo city just near Guimaras Island which is a short 20 minute ferry ride from the city and as my luck would have it they had the annual mango festival hosting the "best" mangoes in the Philippines (honestly they are good everywhere) but I will say they were excellent there. Little did I know that besides the scorching arid climate the island hosts some beautiful beaches they complem...

I explored Angeles City in my favorite way and really the only way in my opinion on motorbike to see the side streets and get a POV of the smells sounds and heat of the city! I was surprised by what Angeles city has to offer because what it is most well known for and made me realize papanga is a beautiful area and has a lot to offer. Before you think this city isn't for you I would watch and se...

Today we are touring the city talking to realtors, having lunch at a restaurant and stopping into to a massage shop to get an idea about what life could and would be like living in Iloilo City. The city is clean, well planned out (thus far) and has a ton of potential. I think this is a great option for those wanting to maybe stay away from the BIG 3 Manila, Cebu & Davao but still have all the m...

How To Rent A Motorbike/ Scooter in Dumaguete, Philippines #1 Retirement City In Asia

Quick and easy overview of one of the motorbike shops In Dumaguete, Philippines. Basically, you just need to show a Driver's license and occasionally will need to let them make a copy of your passport. Generally I have seen a 2-3k PHP deposit that gets returned to you. I will say they tend to charge much more for the daily rates than if you would rent monthly which is to be expected but it seem...

After visiting Dumaguete I realized Bacolod is only a 6 hour bus ride and well worth the visit. The city is very under the radar and even though it is very hot it still is a good size city with a lot of development ongoing. Also, the cost of living there is very, very good and is what you think it "should" considering the economy in the Philippines. I think a handful of individuals would consid...

Why Malaysia is better economically than most of her neighbors? We have leaders who are far-sighted when it comes to economy and political stability. Also have something to do with the local chinese but not like how you think. Two things that the Malaysian government have planned, executed and they have done them right. 1. New Economic Policy (NEP) Implemented in the 70s, the NEP had two objectives which were to reduce poverty and eliminate the association of race with economic function. The goals are, -Rapid economic expansion -Improved access to land, physical capital, training, and public facilities -Reduced inter-ethnic economic disparities -Increased access to education, especially for low-income groups and rural areas The NEP had also prevented only certain ethnics or group of people from monopolizing any sector of the economy, as a result unlike the Philippines Malaysia have no oligarchs. 2. New Economic Model (NEM) Introduced in 2000s, the NEM was like the next stage of the NEP. It's objectives are, -Increasing worker income and productivity -Encouraging knowledge industries -Increasing investment from overseas -Reducing fiscal disparity between the wealthiest and poorest Malaysians With these economic transformations, Malaysia has transitioned from an agricultural economy to a manufacturing, service sector and financial, and is now one of the leading exporter of electronics and semi conductors.

Iloilo City proper is smaller than Bacolod. It's by design. If you include the outskirts (Iloilo districts), then it's wider. Bacolod City is by designed because of the sugar plantation. It need wider roads, to transport harvest sugar canes to the mill. Iloilo was designed early on because of commerce. The old city is compact. I use to walk around easy and know every street, all the local stores and it's undergrounds. I need a ride in this new Iloilo City. What used to be marsh lands, agriculture lands or strip of lands are now part of the city development. And it's getting crowded.

Visited Dumaguete in early 2024 & it was pretty disappointing, smells horrible, dirty, beaches were crappy, hotels were sub standard. Many better places in the Philippines to visit & enjoy...you just have to get out & find them. Don't listen to any vloggers, ever!

Am msian. You are rigth by saying where there is chinese influence; things are more progressive/ developed comparatively. Secondly the government/ the system is better managed. Less social upheaval. The quality of the people are more refined. Being a multiracial country, people are more carefull and sensitive to each other; the government is stern in this matter. Crimes and criminals will be dealt with exactly and quickly by the police; unlike in the west/ US.This i salute our police force. They arenot perfect, but criminal had this fear of them.

Paul is speaking utter, utter BS. I've lived here for a decade nearly. I dont see many foreigners at all. Dating is super easy. Prices at a fraction of the west. Beachers around the city are magnificent in Dauin, etc. I previously lived in over a dozen countries in international media career - from London to Sydney, to Hong Kong, to Stockholm, to Singapore, etc etc etc. Why does Paul chose to live there then, huh? No respect for the dude.

TOTALLY LOVE DUMA!!! I live in Marina Spatial condos, heart of Duma on the waterfront - with big pool, gym, 24/7 security, rooftop garden, games room, underground parking for my scooter and sportscar, emergency generator for the few powercuts. Great beach (Silliman) a short walk away, restaurants everywhere within a walk, new shopping center right next door with doctors, supermarket soon to open. ACE hospital up the road is great and walk-in service. I rarely see expats at all, but then I don't hang out in the sad bars. Great dating scene! I'm 65 and have been dating my 20 year old for 2 years. Before that 28 year old nurse for eight years. Sweet! Apartments small by our standards, but I bought so no rent and I configured it to maximize the space and frankly with this weather you live outside all the time. (I've tried renting big houses, but karaokes, roosters, security concerns, loud/ drunk neighbor parties, blackouts were a nightmare -- but that's the same for all the Philippines). Been here 8 years and would never live anywhere else!
