The "BEST" Mangoes In The World Guimaras Island, Philippines | Expat Travel Guide |

I was in Iloilo city just near Guimaras Island which is a short 20 minute ferry ride from the city and as my luck would have it they had the annual mango festival hosting the "best" mangoes in the Philippines (honestly they are good everywhere) but I will say they were excellent there. Little did I know that besides the scorching arid climate the island hosts some beautiful beaches they complement fresh mango nicely. So of course we had to go take a dip. It was a lovely island and as usual I was so happy I decided to go.

When you live in Iloilo, you can have a nearby island hop in Guimaras. Plenty to explore. There's plenty of beaches heading north and as well as well as in other coastal areas in the farthest parts of Panay. You can also hike, there's plenty of activities especially in the southern part of Panay spanning along to Antique. Plus you can head to Boracay in no time for it is nearby. Not only the Iloilo City is progressing, the nearby provinces as well. There's plenty to explore in the province of Iloilo, plus Antique, Aklan and Antique are just our neighbors. Heading to Cebu from Iloilo is also easy as well as the Negros Island.

enjoyed watching the video. in your travels ask the locals to show a cashew tree. cashew is a fruit, yellow in color, with the seed attach to the bottom of the fruit hanging upside down. when it's ripe, the fruit in itself is sweet
