As a virtuoso double bass player and conductor of great fame, Sergej Koussevitzky was also a skilled composer and wrote for the double bass the extraordinary concerto in F sharp minor that every double bass player studies in his studies curriculum. Among the various dares written with great skill, some romantic and passionate pieces for double bass and piano also stand out. Among these is the short and intense melody of the Chanson Triste, which requires the soloist to have considerable mastery of technique and sound to make the expression of these virtuosic pieces meaningful.

Tra le varie composizioni scritte con grande maestria spiccano alcuni pezzi per contrabbasso e pianoforte di stampo romantico e appassionato. Tra questi la breve e intensa melodia della Chanson Triste che richiede al solista una padronanza di tecnica e di suono notevoli per rendere significativa l'espressione di questi pezzi virtuosistici.

This is because you listen with the phone or with bed devices filtering bass frequency. Never listen double bass in this way. Please play video with good hearphones or speakers.

Hallo Ödön Racz Sie haben mit Ihrem Können diese wunderbaren italienischen Kontrabass schätze vorgestellt - dafür einen besonderen Dank! Diese Instrumente müssen eigentlich gespielt werden, aber im Museum werden sie gut aufbewahrt und für nächste Generationen erhalten! Was ist besser? Jedenfalls Dank, dass Sie die Instrumente gezeigt und angespielt haben! Vielleicht mal auf dem Testore mit Klavier einen ganzen Konzertabend!
