You’re welcome 😊
Классное видео. Мне очень понравилось. Обязательно зайду на Рождество😊спасибо
Я уверен, что кто-нибудь сможет помочь вам открыть для себя чудеса Парижа во время празднования конца года! 😀
Beautiful! Here in Les Etats Unis we usually just say Christmas "ornaments"!
🙏. Thanks for letting me know!
Bonjour .....😍😍 I was just there last week and it's was so beautiful . The window displays brought back memories of my childhood. Thanks for sharing your tips on this enchanting city.
My pleasure 😊
In France we have an expression "Ma madeleine de Proust" (My Proust madeleine) for things that take us back to a happy past. To me, those windows are kind of "ma madeleine de Proust".
You'd need to read "Remembrance of Things Past" by Marcel Proust to know where the saying comes from.
Bonjour ❤Loveeee, this video ❤ Thanks for sharing it with us 😀
Glad you enjoyed it, Andrea!
@paristoptips I always do. Your videos never disappoint. Awesome job 👏🏽
Thank you for this magical tour!
You're very welcome, Lisa! 🙏
Brilliant video - Baubles in English and I prefer Christmas to Xmas too....I love Galeries Lafayette at Christmas but this Christmas is wonderful. As for the food halls - well something about foie gras isn't for me - but I love the rest
I'll have another video specifically about Christmas food, when those products be will in stores.
@@paristoptips Thank you ever so much
Superb video ❤🎄
Thanks 🤗
Salut! This is so beautiful! I am from the Caribbean and planning a 3 day visit next year the week before the Olympics. I will be arriving on Bastille Day, which I did not know was on that day. A little anxious but your videos instill me with confidence!
In Paris, most places will remain open on July 14th, except maybe some museums...
@@paristoptips Merci Beaucoup. On the 14th, I plan to do your walking tour of Montmartre. Already downloaded and saved to maps!
Should be nice. Hopefully with good weather.
I was there two weeks ago and they were still setting up all of the decorations. So nice to see the final display all lit up.
Glad you can see it then.
And, in the toys department, Santa Claus we be here from December 6th, to complete the Christmas anticipation.
So inspired to create more travel videos like yours! Keep up the good work. ❤
Your Munich video is a good first one... it's just about being able to keep the pace and publish with consistancy for a long time!
@@paristoptips thank you so much for the tips!!!! Appreciate it a lot. 🥰
We were just in Paris (got home Tuesday night) but never made it to GL. It was on my “want to do” list but we ran out of time and energy. Thanks for showing the gorgeous decorations!
Next time! It's always good to miss seeing sites: it means you'll have to come again! 🙂
The Christmas tree is so beautiful this year!! Thank you for the great video!
It really is! Much better than last year's...
Thanks for the comment! 🙏
Bonjou!!! Love your content. Would happen to know the exact date they put up the decorations/ lights? I know there is special ceremony to turn on the lights. Do you where to sign up for glass walk? You had mentioned you need to sign up....link?
They put the decorations in place early November.
For the glasswalk, it's here: haussmann.galerieslafayette.com/events/glasswalk/
Beautiful Alain! What fun to be in Paris at Noel! But, I don't remember the departments store windows looking like such a vivid acid trip thirty years ago...🤔
That's true, especially for the Galeries Lafayette windows. The Printemps windows (coming in a later video) are nicer this year, more child oriented. I preferred them...
You’re not a chauvinist. Great video!
Sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not!😂
Thanks for liking! 🙏
@@paristoptips A chauvinist is usually prejudiced against women but I don’t get that vibe from you. Your videos are great! I really enjoy them. I’ll be in Paris next week and plan to see a lot of things from your videos. Thank you for making them 😁
I used chauvinistic with its other meaning: overly patriotic.
I'm cleraly not prejudiced against women 🙂
New subscriber here. May I know if the trains operate on Christmas eve? Because we will attend the Christmas eve mass and we are just visitors spending Christmas in the city. ❤ Also can we go to all main attractions on December 25 without going inside? Will it be possible?
Christmas eve is not a bank holiday, but will be on a Sunday, so trains will operate with standard Sunday timetables.
And there are no reason you could not go and see all attractions without going inside...
Love this Christmas videos so much! 🎄 Thanks for showing us Paris this time of the year. ❤ Truly magical! I was just wondering...after watching so many of your videos, I still don't know your name! Your daughter's name yes, but not yours. 😄
I will post many more Christmas videos for you to enjoy.
You can call me Alain!
I will watch them all! Thank you Alain.🎄🎁
Decorations remained me more of the nightmare before Christmas. They are scary ugly.
To each his own taste 😁
@@paristoptips Decorations got nothing to do with Xmas. It looks as a giant feminist puke.
