I'd say it was ready a long time ago. Sure, some programs might not work, but with XWayland (yes I know) on Fedora, I have not encountered a single problem to date. Sure, you can argue it's not *really* wayland, but maybe one day we'll uninstall XWayland, load into a desktop session, and everything still magically works.

Need some help, I have a 6900Xt and want to know is Cachy OS have built in up to date amd drivers. If not which distro should I go with that's very good for gaming and everyday computer use.
@@that8bitgamer82 yes it has, cachy is arch so it's rolling meaning it's always updating meaning you get the latest packages If you are new to Linux I wouldn't suggest arch as the first distro to choose, something like fedora KDE plasma would be a nice choice as it updates fast enough but not rolling like arch but if you rlly wanna try arch you definitely can

I've been using Fooyin music player for some time now and I can't use regular Spotify anymore, worse, I can't use my Windows machine at all, cuz it's linux exclusive software. Really good software, recommend it.

@@linuxnext I installed the game on my laptop, then I transferred the game files over to the steam deck and I'm wondering how to get the game file to work through bottles. I hope that makes more sense.
@MilraenHodge-Grande I see, you add a shortcut to the list then select the executable/.exe then try to run it, what game are you trying to run?
@@linuxnext Devotion. I actually just got it to run just before your comment popped up. I had to put it in the c drive folder bottles created then run the application. Thanks for the reply though. Been scratching my head over this for a couple days.
God GTK is such a scourge, coming from a qt environment, it causes so much inconsistency with everything, especially with title bars. We all have gnome and their terrible design practices to thank for the lack of server decorations. Hopefully KDE’s union will help some of these inconsistency’s.
So why don't they just stop windows support too? They cheat as well!!!

You are braver than me sir. I have no tolerance for have baked distros anymore, I salute you sir for putting up with the headaches to bring us the news on linux.
Funny, the booting into black screen, I get that with every other distro I tried to install on my gamepc (only Linux mint seems to work just fine). About pikaOS: I wanted to check it out in a vm first but it wouldn't even load the iso so I then decided to wait for your review.
I tried it in cachy OS but the hoyo launcher is just a black box
