Really impressed with this. I always worry i’ve missed something before changing lanes despite being very aware of whats in my mirrors + shoulder checks. Can never be too careful.
Quite impressed with that actually. I was on the m1 recently and mirror and shoulder checks at speed dont always seem enough, this system would give you some backup.
Interesting every install so far talks about the 10 degree tilt for the radar, if it needed to be specific you would think that the measurement would need to be taken under load (while on the bike) because depending on suspension the angle could change quite a bit.
TBH I did as best a job as I could with the bike not under load, it works really well. So much so that I have left it on the b ike. Great in the not so good weather especially.
@@gsd32i Yeah I'm planning to get this, still undecided between the watch version or the mirror one. Current the watch is $100 cheaper. The only issue I haven't solved for is mounting and routing the rear radar. I hate to drill a hole thru the under seat area. Did that on my last bike and when riding in heavy rain it let some water in and had to seal it, then the bike felt very "unprofessional" I'm keeping it for life and now that's my beater bike. Still having the sweetheart phase with my new bike, not ready to puncture holes in her just yet. I wish there was a way to permanently disable the beeping instead of each ride. I'm wondering if you can disassemble one of them without breaking it and disconnect the speaker.
No reason why you can't , just need a power supply and I chose the thunder box to power mine, basically so I didn't have to mess about and put a plug on the end of the wires 😂
I'd like to see an in-helmet Bluetooth version with LED's on either side of your temple area (with subtle but sufficient intensity of course) with optional beeper. I have the mirror version as tested here, which works really well I have to say though. For best effect the placement of the LED's need to be such that they are not in the peripheral area of your forward vision, but rather where they are easy to see without shifting your head/eye position too much.
The new position works for the and I have to say they have been really good. I think they are a device that you don't know how effective they are until you have got them. No doubt the major manufacturers did much research to come up with the positions. Ride safe. 😁
Impressive piece of kit and unlike the BMW system on the Rt's you don't need the expensive adaptive cruise control unit as well. I will definitely fit one on my new K1600GT I will be getting shortly. Nice concise, informative video as always.
Just finally sorted it out. This works as I have just tried it. Discount code GSD321 but make sure it's the main website and not the UK one. Regards Paul.
The chigee unit at early bird was £300 with BSD cameras front back and CarPlay price now 379 isn’t bad in comparison u cam use rear camera to view as well
The AIO-5 Lite is being sent to me for review and should be here in a few days. So I am keen to see how it performs against the "real radar unit"from Innovv.
You must be stalking me! Thunderbox now exactly same camera system 😂. Had mine for nearly a year and I love it. You’re right tell everyone it’s secondary to shoulder checks as it should be treated as a ‘third eye’. Cheers!
Hi . I have just sent INNOVV an email to ask them if the code is still valid . Just came back from a mini tour of the Normandy landing beaches and at night in the rain it was very useful as it was on the daytime too . It’s staying on the bike !
That constant warning in traffic would drive me crazy, great for motorway perhaps, but not so much urban riding in my opinion 😉
He did say the tone can be silenced ... that may be good for dense traffic.
I find it interesting that so many people criticise Chinese products without realising innovv apple etc are all made in china
DJI, Osmo Action, Insta360, all from Chinese Companies...they will take over the world soon, if they haven't done already!
Really impressed with this. I always worry i’ve missed something before changing lanes despite being very aware of whats in my mirrors + shoulder checks. Can never be too careful.
If you need this you should get back in your car!!
Each to their own, but I can see the benefit of them, especially on a wet winters night😁
Quite impressed with that actually. I was on the m1 recently and mirror and shoulder checks at speed dont always seem enough, this system would give you some backup.
I believe that it is a very good system and it will be staying on my bike.

@@ViciousXUSMC I am sure mine don't bet as I turned the beep off. Beeps on start up but all I get now is the flashing red lights.
Should have been Bluetooth to warn in intercom
Agree
Awesome video, thank you.
I am wondering if there is a reason I couldn’t just hook it up to a HEX ez-can?

@@gsd32i hahaha thank you 👍
Can you turn the beeping off????
Yes👍
Fitted this 3 weeks ago. Absolutely brilliant piece of kit and a great additional safety feature on my GSA Trophy.

discount code not working
hi. I have e mailed innovv and they said they had sorted it. possibly try again later, I will send them another e mail. 🙈

Thanks. Excellent video and sound. Too bad it isn't wireless.
Thanks for watching!

But if the cost is 259 surely all bikes should have this at mass production price

You clearly have the "eye"for quality products. 😁
@@gsd32i Touché!
HI Paul, just tried to buy one of these units but it would appear your discount code no longer applies. Can you confirm this. Thanks

Hi . INNOVV have got back to me and said they had a software update and the code should now be ok to use . Paul10%
Thanks for the update. Paul I will give it another try today.
Well I hope their products are better than their software updates. Still not working!
@@Omsracer1 not sure if it will make any difference try paul10% ie lowercase p .
Excellent video. The lights don’t seem that bright though.
They seemed fine to me, will try them at night as the light sensor on the right unit should lower the intensity.
@@gsd32i May be they didn’t show that well on video
Found the lights coming on every time you were being overtaken a bit annoying, don’t know how I’d feel if I had it fitted on mine
Was fine actually. 😁
It’s why it’s there
@@mengaw-yong2490
I realize that, but still find it annoying, I like to enjoy my riding without to many distractions
Discount Code isn’t working :(
Hi . INNOVV informed me that it was Paul10%
Please let me know if it still does not work and I will contact INNOVV for clarification 🙈
Hi Buddy, It could be due to the system, you can try again to see if it works.
Very cool and not distracting for the mirror version you showed. I do hate running wires though
The wires were an issue, BUT I am sure I will learn to live with them😁
