Singing bowls and koshi bells
Armed with my mobile phone, this video was recorded by my beloved mom in 2020. She also sponsored her shawl and offered invaluable advice for my recording. It is from here that I grew and learned in my vblogging. Sharing one of my first recording for singing bowls. :D Thereafter, my beloved hubby sponsored a whole suite of vblogging equipment as I brought my lesson online due to social distanci...
Tibetan (Himalayan) Singing Bowls - 2 chakra sets 🤩
In this video, I improvised and played two chakra sets together. Without realising at the point of purchase, one set is yin and the other is yang. I invite you to listen with your heart the interplay of yin and yang. Hitting two bowls simultaneously produces a beautiful mix of overtones. Different mallets and sticks bring out a different pitch in the bowls, adding to the richness of the sounds....

Wrist exercises
This helps to strengthen weak wrists and release stiff forearm muscles. There shouldn’t be any sharp pain or sensitivity during the exercises. Our wrists are delicate with lots of possible movements. There are 27 bones in each hand and hence we can have fine articulation. Conversely, it is also prone to instability and immobility when the bones are not aligned, or not in correct relationships w...
Somatic yoga - moving your inner organs and fascia
This somatic yoga practice allows you to find support from the contents of your body - inner organs as well as unglue the connective tissues that are stuck together. Our organs (and muscles) are wrapped in fascia sheets to allow gliding so that we can move freely. When sticky spots appear, movements become restricted and one may experience pain. The good news is we can regain a healthy body thr...

Sound Healing with Tuning Fork - Boost Your Immunity
The cells in your body and the energy field around your body (biofield) have positive and negative points just as batteries do. Charging them with coherent sound and vibrations help increased energy, cell rejuvenation and a feeling of being focused and grounded. Stress makes the body fatigued and tired. The vibrations from the forks helps the body relax and calm the nervous system. This brings ...
Pause. Hover. Breathe.
Take a pause... Observe your surroundings... Notice your breathing... This timely visitor darting in and out of view right outside my window. It was hovering so near and seemed so still that I could see its big black eyes and face. Nature always teaches me so much. I just have to keep an open mind and look out (of the window literary) ... Grateful for this good reminder to take a break and have...
Personal Space and boundary practice 2 - easeful witness and acceptance
This is a relatively more advance practice. It is built on practice 1. It is recommended that you try out practice 1 for at least 1 week before coming to this video. This practice explores our emotions, beliefs, thought patterns and sensations based on the foundation of anchoring within our body as a safe haven without judgement or criticism. Just open your eyes if you need to stop the practice...
Eye Care - eye movements to release tension
With the prolonged use of mobile devices and increased screen time, we hold a lot of tension in our eyes. I am going to show you how to do a quick release of tension through our eye movements here. 3 key benefits of this practice includes: 1. Relax the muscles around the eyes; 2. relax our brain, and 3. relax our nervous systems. We use our eyes to detect threats in the environment; so when we ...
Personal boundary and space practice 1 - the physical boundary
A good personal boundary sets the foundation for cultivating healthy relationships, with yourself and others. When one has good personal boundary, self-care becomes something important. When one is nourished, one can share the good energies with others. This means that everyone can have his or her 'off' days and it is ok not to feel ok. That is why you need personal boundary to retreat, recharg...
Coherent breathing
We can access our brain through our body in a bottom-up approach. Yoga and breathing exercises are very good means to do so. Hence, breathing practices can be used to calm and regulate our mind, physiological functions and emotions. Coherent breathing is taking equal inhalation as exhalation without any holding of breath in between. As you practise, there should not be any strain or cause of pa...
1 min eye care
This 1 min eye care can be done as many times throughout the day as you need. This is child friendly. Make it your daily ritual :) It is important to start eye care regime from young. However, it is not too late to begin regardless of where you are now to maintain or improve your eyesight. Our eyes are intricately linked to our liver and also our state of wellbeing. Do you recall feeling very t...

Namaste! From what I have read, yin bowls have the same thickness up their walls to the rims while yang bowls have a thickening at the rims. :)
