Olá, agora em 2024 que descobri seus vídeos, muito bom,matou minha curiosidade em saber muitas coisas dos meus lindos de bonanza, principalmente de Pernell/Adam Sobre as botas sujas dele, já tinha notado, num episódio, que ele tá dancando com a chata da Laura, ele todo lindo com a camisa branca, gravatinha preta,a câmera abre pra cena,e se nota ,a bota dele toda suja muito suja,mas eu o amo assim mesmo 😂❤❤

There is a Chevrolet ad filmed in the bonanza set that clearly shows a very unhappy Pernell .. and I can understand why. They’re playing themselves yet are still be treated like teenagers.

How did it go? Are you okay?

Well I’m not sure it had anything to do with it being a control thing. I’d say it was more that they were very different people. Karen Grassle and Alison Anigrim said Michael Landon created an “old boys club” was very sexist etc. Pernell would have hated that kind of attitude. He fought against sexism. No woman has ever said Pernell told crude jokes or was sexist. Pernell was also all about the acting not the fame or the money and I don’t think ML would have related to that. I think they butted heads over their different aproach to the show and ultimately were two very different men. I’ve also seen guest stars say that as they had so much time sitting around on the set that they got up to a lot of fun and mischief .. I don’t think they hated each other but I don’t think they saw the world through the same lens and I imagine Pernell found ML quite difficult to be around. Pernell was a better actor and was older too so he wasn’t going to take any shit from ML.

There was also another portrait in the show, it was oval-shaped and had a gold frame. It was a painting of a man. I think it was also used as Amy's husband in "The Trouble With Amy". It appeared in multiple houses.
