I love your drawing of Hoss! You have talked about your artwork but I don't think I have seen your work. It looks great. Thanks for making these videos. They are lots of fun! 😊
Barbo, the episode where they are surrounded by rustlers, and Hoss is shot in the leg, and is very hungry was The Rescue. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think The Trap was a later episode without Pernell.
The numbers for The Cartwrights is Not how many episodes the actors appear in but how many they are credited for in the credits. Lorne is not in every episode and neither is Mike! Examples- only Adam is in The Way Station ,The Flannel Mouth Gun, Only Hoss is in The Mission. Etc
Found explanation on Bonanza Boomers which I tried to copy paste, but no luck - that friend of Pernell visited set & flipping bird done as joke for this friend. True or not who knows?
The ONLY episode that NONE of the other Cartwrights were in ( that I can think of) - it ONLY starred Hoss - was 'Gallagher's Sons' from season 3. So there's your answer about Mike and Lorne's ONLY episode they WEREN'T in, just 'credited' at the beginning, as they were in all episodes. :)
The numbers with the episodes is not right. At the imdb Database it shows how many episodes they were really in and in which one they were only credited. I believe the numbers you have are the ones they were credited for. As example with Pernell. He was credited for 202 episodes, but he played Adam only until episode 196. And even in the 196 he didn´t appear in all of them. The numbers for Lorne and Michael with only one missing episode can´t be right too
Michael wasn´t in: 1. The Philip Deidesheimer Story, (only Adam and Hoss) 2. The Mission, (only Hoss) 3. The Trail Gang, 4. The Blood Line, 5. The Fugitive, 6. The Jackknife, 7. A Hot Day for a Hanging, 8. The Deserter, 9. The way Station, (only Adam) 10. Gallaghers Sons, (only Hoss) 11. The Good Samaritan, 12. The Jury, 13. The Saga of Whizzer McGee, 14. Journey Remembered, 15. The Waiting Game, 16. The Cheating Game, 17. Logan´s Treasure, 18. The Ballerina, 19. The Flannel Mouth Gun, (only Adam) 20. Patchwork Man, 21. A Natural Wizard 22. Old Charlie 23. The Unseen Wound 24. The Gentle Ones 25. A Dream to Dream 26. Erin 27. The Fence 28. Dead Wrong
Lorne missed: 1. The Philip Diedesheimer Story 2. The Gunmen 3. The Mission 4. The way Station 5. Gallaghers Sons 6. The Lila Conrad Story 7. The Flannel Mouth Gun 8. The Search 9. Old Charlie 10. Black Friday 11. Judgement at Red Creek 12. A Dream to Dream 13. The Stronghold It seems Lorne was in most of the episodes
Hoss missed: 1. Silent Thunder 2. The Fugitive 3. The Long Night 4. The Beginning 5. The Deadly Ones 6. The Lila Conrad Story 7. The Cheating Game 8. The Companeros 9. The Flannel Mouth Gun 10. Pernell missed in the six seasons he was in: 1. The Gunmen 2. San Francisco 3. The Mission 4. The Trail Gang 5. Silent Thunder 6. The Blood Line 7. The Tax Collector 8. The Duke 9. The INfernal Machine 10. The Thunderhead Swindle 11. The Lonely House 12. The Miracle Maker 13. A Hot Day for a Hanging 14. The Beginning 15. The Deadly Ones 16. Gallaghers Sons 17. The Good Samaritan 18. The Colonel 19. The Saga of Whizzer McGee 20. Rich Man, Poor Man 21. Journey Remembered 22. Alias Joe Cartwright 23. The Companeros 24. Logans Treasure 25. Between Heaven and Earth 26. The Underdog 27. The Ballerina 28. The Deadliest Game 29. Once a Doctor 30. Lothario Larking 31. The Return 32. Jonah 33. The Spotlight 34. Patchwork Man
Not sure if any other way of contacting you. I just wanted to know if armourers were on set back in days of like Bonanza . They were real guns they were using so only blanks in them but I have to ask did they have person/people to check safety. After the shooting on Rust and knowing how many Westerns were made just for TV alone in the 50s and 60s it’s a wonder there were no other shootings. Accidents yes like falls and stunts going wrong you read about. All four Cartwright’s knew how to handle a gun so must have been trained. Anyway just a question? Thank you
I love ❤ Pernell Roberts
Thank you for another interesting episode

I’m not sure. I can do some research though.
