The Hagley Museum- America’s First Blackpowder Manufacturing Plant

The Hagley Museum is located in Wilmington Delaware. Its location on the Brandywine River is where E.I. DuPont began manufacturing black powder in 1802. The machine shop was amazing, each piece of equipment ran as well as the day it was put into service. If you’re local to the area it’s worth checking out. There is a ton of history here!

There’s a ton to do in Wilmington. The mansion on site is decorated for Christmas. The Nemours Estate is amazing too!
