I know it's become a joke that Paladins always eventually "fall" in D&D games but I never expected it could happen when the Paladin literally meets the first NPC in the game. 😅

This one was all over the shop, but that's the charm of playing in a living world that allows for emergent situations, even as a con game. At the end of the session plenty of adventuring had been done, and that's what counts.

This looks like it was a lot of fun. I live only an hour's drive away so was thinking it might be fun to check out with my son next year. Also, was there anyone under the age of 30? Could be a bit intimidating for a younger player amongst the greybeards. At least it looks more old-school focused than the Ragnarok con in Waterloo. Any Runequest, Rolemaster or other old systems in play or was it all D&D? Glad it was a success.

Always have wolfsbane when wandering outside the keep! There are wererats around!

Looking forward to seeing what transpires in session two! Those orcs were very nervous, maybe their dragon master has a short temper!

That was a fun game! We had a very well thought out and elaborate trap, but those darned orcs managed to catch a glimpse of something.
