この曲を聞いて、中学2年生の時までタイムスリップした。ありがとう。
Played once a month on Retro Charts Radio, along with every other Top 40 hit from 1952 to 1999. All 15,300 hits on random 24/7. It's a musical journey no one has ever been on before. No ads, no presenters, no news, no frills, just the music :)
Thanks for the recommendation!
@@carol.luna.stella You're very welcome :)
Tony Burrows - the man, the LEGEND!
I love this song and also Finnish version Elämältä kaiken sain.
Not enough golden oldies. Bring them back . 😀
It's weird that the supposedly prime quality CD reissues of this track feature a fade in and early fade out that were never present on the original hit that we heard here. In the UK the original RCA single (of which I have a copy - which clocks at 3'25" ) seems to be stereo as well - even though not labelled as such. Was there some master tape defect that made this neccesary on the CD issue? Was there some artistic reason or was it just technical incompetence? :-)
Brilliant upload. Are there really no preserved live performances of this masterpiece, recorded by Tony Burrows, Edison Lighthouse or White Plains? This was a class act and a fabulous song and it was never a hit😕
I love this song. Interesting they reference 1982 and 1986 when this song came out in 1977.
Sweet tone ❤
The legend himself! This song should have been one of his many smash-hits!
Fronting five different bands at the same time appeared on top of the pops twice in person and once on record. Same program in 1970
Why can’t we go back in time they were my happy times
I think it was called being young Robert - unfortunately it seems we never stop missing it !
@@DavidSelley49 so true they were my happy times ,if I could have one wish it would start 1960 all over again
The Strangers version is far better
From a time when life was so much simpler……so many wonderful memories.
He's great, but I prefer the original by The Strangers.
Love love the song

Happier times and music that you can understand. 😘
Described as "bubble gum rock" in those days,a great song never or very rarely heard on the radio these days.
Lovely 1970s song so much better than today's crap
👍❤ 노래 좋네
BELLO TONY😍😘
Brilliant song great group
Graham Dean played this song this morning on Boom Radio and it's been in my head all day . That's what brought me here and I'm glad it did 😊
HANDSOME😍
Such an endearing,enchanting,song:Loved forever!!
Another Tony Burrows vocal hit.
It isn't a hit. #87
GREAT EFFORT TONY 🏆
One of the most underrated song of everytime
My young sister Melanie passed away last night, just had to listen to this 😘
I hope her spirit is resting easy in a good place, and that you are OK .. It's nice to have songs that help us remember our loved ones fondly .. All the best .. Wayne
@@wayne_twentyfive Thank you.
QUE BONITA!!!
MARAVILLOSA!!!!
A lovely uncomplicated song, with a pretty melody - doesn’t everybody love it?
That's the late great Pete Nelson singing lead. Love his voice.
I have this song as my ringtone
Im gonna get it on mine ASAP
Reminds me of when I found my true love when we 1st met Fast forward ⏩ we are happily married for 40 yrs and are still together til this day
Jolly, wonderfully optimstic, vibrant song, heartwarming lyrics, I sing it every week!! ❤️❤️❤️
It was Pete Nelson on lead vocals on "In A Moment Of Madness" which was first released under the name of The Flower Pot Men, not White Plains. This video was the Band's TV performance of "Let's Go to San Francisco". The studio track of this song was dubbed onto the video. Really misleading.
So good. Love this song
This one cost me 7 bob from Mrs Langfords Electrical shop in Market Rasen, that's about 35 pence now. (can't do dollars!)
Appologies to Ms Shakespeare, always remembered Carter/Shakespeare wrote Beachbaby, never knew Shakesppeare was a lady. Well done anyway, shows you are never too old to learn.
