Disney princesses all have a magical vibe to it and the villains are blatantly evil. They are bad people who are bad while here. The magic is kinda gone? I mean you'd expect a fairytale like story for a 100 year anniversary of a company who is famous for its fairytale vibe? What happened here? They just took a guy who has some mildly bad qualities that aren't really that evident (he's been ruling for a long time and still has a good reputation). He's not even scheming! Asha got to know his plan by just just just eavesdropping on him! How stupid is that! He went with the flow and suddenly got corrupted by power and complaining like an overworked worker being removed like some kinda revolution. It doesn't give any magic vibes at all! 😅 Welcome to Rosas is so similar to "Welcome to the family Madrigal" And you know the biggest failure? Audience failed to empathise with the protagonist! Somehow everyone just liked the villain. The story was so poorly delivered that audience didn't understand what and why the main character is doing. The goat looks just unnecessary.

I just watched this movie for the first time the other day and NOW I understand why people were criticizing it so much. As I'm watching it I'm like, "oh ok, they wanted Lin Manuel Miranda songs but didn't have a Lin Manuel Miranda budget for some reason? So they got Lin Manuel Miranda from Temu to write the songs??"

It sounds like they badly translated all the lyrics from whole different country. Without trying to properly interpret it.

Wish is a prime example of what's wrong with Hollywood and most industries anymore. There are no adults in the room and nobody with passion and expertise anymore. Look back at old "making of" videos about older Disney movies from the 90s or learn about the 9 Old Men that animated the movies from the 30s and 40s. These were people with talent and passion who loved what they do and were there to progress the art of animation. These people had years and years of training. Today we get a bunch of idiot college kids who never had a job in their life, demanding 6 figure salaries, who barely paid attention in art school, and never emotionally matured past the level of a 13 year old. And they are running the show, stomping their feet and crying when they don't get love and praise, wanting to be the center of attention instead of part of a team, and have this "who cares? F the corporation" attitude about everything. They aren't there for art or to make people have a good time watching the movie. They are there for themselves and it shows in the quality

I think that the second movie won't feature william and make it seem like he's gone but he'll be springtrap in the third movie. It'll be a neat suprise for those not expecting it and It'll make sense for those who are. The second movie does take after the second game and there will supposedly be a trilogy. I'm someone who like the movie and from hearing that scott will take criticism for it is good to hear. Him becoming springtrap can bring sympathy and allow for the more traumatic elements of the character since he isn't doing to well.

its honestly sad cuz i thought the way the main melody and instrumental of this song sounded was really cool and interesting. it really caught my attention when my sister was watching the movie in the other room, so it was in my playlist for like a week. but after a few listens and trying to ignore those verses and the horrendous lyrics... i just blocked spotify from ever playing it again

I didn’t necessarily think the song was bad so much as the song felt like it belonged in a different story or at least failed to make its point. I felt like the whole of Wish summed up would be “wow that escalated quickly.” You could tell they had the basis for a good idea, but no sense of substance or build for almost all the characters. Which hurt the movie greatly. It’s sad that an anniversary movie wouldn’t even make my top 10 of Disney movies. This had the potential to be so much better than it was and songs like these lose their steam because the point they try to make is dramatically extreme compared to the actual muted narrative the movie provided.
