Which seat post fits the xPeak. The 27.2 or the 31.6? Thanks
I got the 27.2, but also needed a 27.2 to 31.6 shim. I did it this way so I could also us it on my other bikes.
Thanks so much for the information.
Favorite park! Where's the grass?! 🤣
So many good choices out there, you could go crazy choosing your new e bike. Channels like yours help clear things up. Surprised at the price, I was expecting it to cost almost 2 grand.
@pedrofernandez8729 It's a nice 20 inch wheels bike for those looking for ease of use, full suspension and no surprises from the motor.
Good information, thanks, nice bike
Glad you liked it!
Just bought this bike...it's a Beast
I have to agree.
I just now paired my D2. Did have to uninstall and then reinstall the Velotric app for it to work. Current firmware upgrades to D056, C070, & B020. Hoping in future upgrades we will be able to change between torque and cadence on the bike menu and not need the phone app.
That would be nice to not have to use the app.
it's a great company! thanks for sharing
Yes they are!
I am happy that I own 3 of their bikes. Great compant, awesome customer service, great bikes. Glad to see how they are giving back. Thanks Lance again.
They are really a standout company for good.
Amen, what a company Lectric is.
I agree with you. They are fantastic.
Very nice video, good for Lectric, wonderful to hear what they are doing
They are a pretty amazing company.

Nice trike ride. Don’t do DoorDash. ❤
Yeap, no dashing for me.
nice try diddy
Thanks
It looks like the on board speedometer only works when you use the motor?
You are correct. Not sure why they made it that way.
Fun ride Lance🚴♂️
It was a fun lazy ride.
Nice job Lance. Love the bike🚴
Thanks! 👍It is a great improvement over the first Xpeak.

Have they fixed the “wobble” & “Foot hitting front wheel” problem some were having with the last model?
At the time of this ride, they didn't have the step thrus for us to ride. They did have a one for display and I can say the frame is much beefier with more support, so until we can ride one I can't say but it looks like they took steps to fix that issue.
I plan on recycling a lot of the stuff off my current XPeak and putting it back to stock I’m hoping we get the choice. I would like to get the step through also. I also would like the 20 amp battery.
I am doing the same thing and hoping for the same as you. I really enjoyed the XPeak 2.0 and think it has a lot of potential with a few personalized modifications similar to the original. Exciting times.
I would not worry about the “clunk”. It is pretty typical for a hub drive with a torque sensor. The torque center kicks in and pushes slack into the system if it is set higher than you are putting effort in. once it creates this slack it back off. And then your legs catch up the drive system to the motor. That is pretty typical of this type of system. Annoying, but not an issue.
Thanks for the explanation. Good information to know.

I always enjoy riding Calero Creek Trail. I was on it last week. It was nice to see they finally trimmed the brush back. Last time I was there, I had to squeeze through the branches, it was so overgrown. It's a great way to get to Santa Teresa County Park by bike. It doesn't look like you've raised the handlebars yet. How's that project going?
Yes, I did put a new set of bars on, with a 3.5 " rise and 31" wide. Made a big difference for the better. Didnt have to change the handlebar stem, just added the bars.
@@theridewithlance I thought you wanted to go higher than 3.5. Did that turn out to be impossible?
@ts3871 No, just turned out to be the right height for me.
It’s nice to see that you could go a little bit higher, if you wanted to. Every time I ride that trail you’re on, I look at that dirt, single-track that parallels it, and wish I could ride it, but my hybrid just isn’t the right bike for it. =[
Interested in an ebike. How does this bike feel in pedal only mode vs a non electric bike?
If you are trying to ride it as a normal bike with no power, you will feel the weight of the bike. If you are on level ground riding is fairly easy, just a bit slower then a normal bike, but if you hit a slight incline you will feel it.
Did you even put the bik in PAS 3? It's supposed to get up to 30mph
No. I have had it in all PAS levels and never hit 30.
@@theridewithlance Hey so I just got mine in the mail, modded everything. But you know where theforks go up into thestem? It's super loose. I have never had to deal with that on any other bike so I gotta research how to fix. Just wondering if yours came like that too?
@@CrashFPV21 No, but you should just need to tighten the handlebar stem screw to tighten it up.
@@theridewithlance It was actually the new headset I put on it. Once I pushed the forks up and the headset down on the stem, there was a gap because the headset I got was shorter that the original if that makes sense. I just switched back to the original and it's fine
EXACTLY what I did to customize LOL
Great minds think alike. LOL
I see in one of your replies to a comment that you replaced your stock handlebars with a +90mm handlebar. Do you think there's enough slack in the cables and wiring to accommodate a 120mm rise handlebar?
I beleive you would have enough slack. I will check when I get home.

Very nice bike
Thanks. It is a really nice cruiser.
very Nice! Ive been gonna get a nomad awhile. I been watching velotric reviews & im hooked. sadly the nomad plus has one thing I dont want a little higher top end speed, But [to me] the more important low end torque to get up a steep grade is a "little" less than before [I want the old nomad] :( the plus has other upgrades that are good - like the battery and a few other water proof/resistance my fav is the mango too. I almost got the teal as it was 1200, but like a goof I waited in hopes for a mango, awwww frenzy denied My 1st ebike was a Favoto fearless - a step over then another Favoto Flurry 2.0 ST [step thru] which has become my favorite it has the rack, adjustable stem and will climb as the nomad did. [just under 800] so yeah same specs, same warranty, it is my favorite. Buut I still want a Nomad [the older one] I can add a rack and I do like your decals and upgrades. my wife got me a cloud 9, but its still in the box as to my surprise the flurry ST seat has turned out to be just right [for me] still a hard tail, but on gravel 15 PSI on hard pack or paved I go 20 PSI [im 230lbs] so right for me. yeah range might suffer, but I want to be comfy :D im 64 6'4" and live in North Idaho. still have sisters in the bay area. and I think the GG park would be a lot of fun on an ebike. the waterfront would be fun too. in the off season Yosemite would be fun. for more info contact STC [shoot the chit] a youtuber that lives in antioch cali as he goes on some great rides. there is so much to see in North Cal [I lived there a few years, just worked too much to enjoy it] the beach areas of Samoa [near Eureka] agate beach, moonstone beach uh the mad river areas [Arcata] all have some really nice trails to explore.
I didnt ride the first version of the Nomad, but for me this makes the perfect fat tire cruiser. Smooth power deliver, comfortable riding position, easy to get on on and off, and really nice build quality.
thanks for the ride! good chat & info too :) wow a cargo ebike? thats actually nice & I can see it would be a good one to get stuff & bring it home on that. I am not a fan of thumb throttles, but an easy thing to upgrade to. :) the display is nice too - the stem? well it looks ok, Im tallish so extended they get wobbly when not made well. one guy calls them "bean stalk" lol I agree as the few ive used tend to get spindly when fully extended. oh well - there must be things you can do to stiffen that up. the 20" wheels? i see those too often & Im 6'4" and i see a circus toy when i see those tiny wheels. average ppl might find them good & Im sure little kids will be easy to load n unload as well. for me? im a little bigger than the average bear, so 24" with a slightly more aggressive tread as most of our area is dirt/gravel - the city streets nearby are not the best either - peddle strikes happen - the rew sidewalks here are up n down, it freezes & thaws, so yeah heaves happen. sadly a person cant change the tire size enough. tire types are ez to change, just a 20"wheel is the limiting factor. for "me" a cargo ebike is more of a city or urban thing, but ones like this are proving they can be capable of much more! a 750 watt motor!?! that is nice & welcome. added battery option is nice too - very well done :)
Thank you.
Nice ride video, I watch you and gary the most so cool seeing you riding together. My daughter in law has the 1.0 this looks like a greatly improved version.
I never got to ride to 1.0, but I can tell you the XPedition 2.0 really, really impressed me. It is just a plain fantastic bike to ride. Riding with Gary was the icing on the cake. He is a really nice guy.
What a amazing bike🚴 Nice review Lance👏
Thanks you. It performed better then I was expecting. It makes a great cruiser to, besides it being a very capable cargo bike. Lectric did a fantastic job on this bike.
Kinda bummed they changed the wheels and went to the smaller tires. I JUST bought some moped tires for my XP 3.0 and was hoping if they announced this new bike I could transfer them over. I should have waited longer, but I ended up getting a flat and needed a new tire. Sucks, but I really wanted to upgrade from the 3.0 to this new cargo. Not sure what I will do now.
Wish I had an answer for you. Maybe get the new XPedition and the best of both worlds.
Good information, very nice bike
It really was better than I had expected. It's just an all-around great bike, even if you don't use it to haul cargo.
Great job Lance I bet it was a riot riding with Gary ❤
It was! Thanks.

Jesus was almost a mirror image your video in mind. Hope you’re enjoying your trip. It was awesome to riding with you by the way we’ll have to try to do it again next year if we get invited.
Great minds think alike, I guess. Lol. Looking forward to next time if they have one.
That is a loud motor. My Xpeak is so much quieter. Great review.
Mine to.
Nice job Lance. Great bike. I feel like I’m the only one not reviewing a Lectric bike🤣
Thanks. I am sure sooner or later you will be.
@ You are very nice, thank you
I don't know why they call a stealth motor it's actually louder than most ebike's. I have the lite 2.0 and it's the same noise. It does look like a great bike , thanks for the video
Its definitely a growler.
The step through express 750 has a quick release adjustable handle bars that would make it easier for taller riders.
I might get one for this bike.
I’m pretty sure the xpress 750 has a torque sensor. You mentioned it has a smooth cadence sensor. It does sound like a cadence sensor cause of the loud motor
It is a cadence sensor bike, after double checking specs. Their PWR+ system works really good.
Interesting. Because their website reflects torque sensor. It’s towards the bottom. There are carousel blocks it’s the third block to the right. It mentions it has the PWR+ with the torque and can manage power output by riders pedaling effort.
@@joeysSEMassachusettsWeather You are right. I must have pulled up specs from another bike. Anyways, it works great.
Lectric Ebikes: lectricebikes.sjv.io/Y97R6P
Hey great video, are these the stock handlebars or did you change them, I just received my discover to in the handlebars come back a lot, did you change them, if so did you go 720 wide or 780 thanks
@@dieseljay8953 Yes, stock bars. Just adjusted the angle. Feel no need for different bars.
from all of the bikes that I have looked at, this one checks most all of the boxes.
It really is a nicely designed and riding bike.
Have that bar extender thing...got it cheap $6...great for my added bike lights and horn and a phone/beverage holder unit, moved the reflector up there too...looks sweet...had to get everything out of the way of the handlebar wiring
That's great. Enjoy the ride.
@theridewithlance any suggestions on a quality not crazy price commuter/road tire...only had it 4 months and had a flat a couple weeks ago...sucked
@@theridewithlance have 26" 1.95...thinking about 2.125's???
THANAKS for the video!! What is that electronic device with the display on the left of the handle bar? Are you still linking the Rhino?
It's a display that let's you know the PAS levels and battery level. It also has the control buttons. Rad decided to go this way and the Radrover 6 plus. I do like the Rhino, but I have not gotten a chance to ride it though.
