Some of that rattling noise you hear is very, possibly the chain. Upgrade the derailer. As far as the kickstand goes, I wonder about a sniffer spring.

Enjoy your trip. Wind socks work pretty well, but you have to watch because they can accelerate overheating of the camera. Also, you can put the DJI on the inside of your shirt. Not foolproof, but much better chance of not losing it, and it does pick up the same when it is on the inside of the shirt

I pretty much agree with everything but I do like the folding aspec of it then I can put it in back of my BMW X5(fits perfect) and drive 3 or 4 hours away for a ride opposed to taking my big truck. I swapped my handlebars out to the Vitalin I7 folding bmx bars and its 100x better. I'm 47 6' 200lbs for refence. I'm debating taking the fenders off because they're annoying

I have to say one thing about a folding bike if you go on a road trip and you’re going to stay in a hotel. It’s great to have it folded, and in the back of the car where they can’t see it. Other than that, buy a rack.

A second the Handlebars I hate those things. I know they’re a necessary evil on a folding bike to a point David Brand New makes a set up with BMX bars it folds just fine.

Bottom line, if you have no need for a folding bike, don't buy one. I rarely fold mine, since the one place I used to go ride has developed some real nasty pot holes and tree roots have damaged the trail. But mine does fold small enough to fit in the back of a small Yaris hatchback.

One of my bikes is folding, I thought I would be able to fold it and put in my trunk or back seat, nope, ended up getting a trailer hitch put on and bought a ebike rack

I went to the trails near me on my fat tire e bike and not a single person said anything but i did get maybe a few weird looks since i also had a full face helmet on since I biked to the park, that along with the fat tired probably look intimidating but still no one said anything just minding their own

I noticed there is some lag when you engage the throttle to when the motor starts to increase speed. Is that correct or am i mistaken? Thanks

Is the throttle either full on or off? Can you hold your thumb to maintain a certain speed without constantly having to remove it when you reach your desired speed? Thanks

Im curious as to why you couldn't hit 28 mph in throttle only? All the reviews i have seen hit 29 to 30 mph in throttle only. They didn't restrict power in a firmware update did they? I heard of some controller issues so im hoping the power is not being restricted further. Thanks

Awesome video Lance. I'm looking at that bike now :) I'm glad you are ok, i may have been lying there for awhile. But great video, I really enjoy the scenery.

I’ve had the RR6+ since 2021 and still love it. The first 2 years were problem free - only had to change break pads - normal. But in this last year, the motor hub had problems that I couldn’t repair and I had to buy a replacement rear wheel motor hub assembly that cost me 500 dollars Canadian. A few months later, the controller wasn’t working and I had to purchase a new one for 200 dollars. I’ve also had to buy tires. So now it’s practically a brand new bike! I’m back to having fun riding every other day. It is a very fun bike. And it was worth fixing it. I’m lucky that I have the skills to install the replacement parts.

Glad you’re OK. On the plus side it was a day that you really wanted to ride fast that you found out you needed to. On the negative side, it’s usually days like that that we end up riding a little too fast. Again, glad you’re OK.
