I agree, I mostly use mine for cruising bike paths. I added the Stem piece you did and the handlebars. It made it great for me. I'm 6'2" tall and 255 lbs. It carries me and my spare battery great. Great video. I carry the spare battery on the back but haven't used it on a ride yet. My last ride was up a canyon bike path and back to my house. I live in Utah on the side of a mountain. I made it 23 miles and still had battery left.
Out of the box that bike is really a great ride for the money. If you like off roading or just a trail rider it work and works nicely. Nice post Lance 👍
I couldn't agree more about the XPeak step through. I'm having a blast on this bike. That battery lasts way longer than my stamina. It was one of my concerns, but good luck if you want to try to outride the battery. :)
Really enjoy your videos. I just ordered an lectric lite 2.0 but I'm interested in what they might do with the next xpeak. If they can straighten out the little problems it would be an even better bike.
Hi Lance .. I enjoy your videos . I looked at your links and I'm not seeing how you do your frontal shot when you ride . I really like that and want to duplicate . We plan on using the DJIA camera not the 360 as the camera for the selfi stick . Can you supply me with the information how you do it? thanks a lot
It would be hard to explain, so I will do a video on how I produce my videos. It will include what you are asking about and more. But for now I can tell you in this video I used two clamps on the lower right leg of the front fork with t a 360 camera on a selfie stick. When using a selfie stick with a 360 cam the selfie stick is invisible. Using an action cam such a s the DJI Action and Gopro you most likely will see part of the selfie stick in the video. Other thing you will have to deal with is the bouncing of the selfie stick when riding over surface that are not smooth. The action cams may show the bouncing in the video. With the 360 cam I can do tracking in the editing to git rid of the bouncing. Here is the link to the clamps I use: amzn.to/4dFDIwO
The way to fix it is by not installing a front rack and basket, and not to install a rear basket. Pannier bags are recommended if you need storage on the rear rack. This is for the step thru. I don't believe they had issues on the high step.
I haven't felt any wobble at all. They told me on the phone that they discovered the cargo baskets on the front and rear weren't compatible so they stopped including them. I am using their trunk bag and have had 20 plus pounds in it with no wobble. Excellent bike for cruising and some trails in my opinion.

It really is. Maybe add a few things to personalize for your riding style, and you are good as gold. Have a great week Jerry.
Nice ride, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it. Have a great week.
Nice video, love the out front view! Audio sounds good too.
Thank you.

I think for the mojority of riders, it last long enough.
It’s a great all-around bike and I have modified mine also to suit my wants
Yes, I would have to agree. Once you get it setup the way you like it, it works and rides great

Thank you. Maybe an XPeak 2.0 is in the future. It would be nice to see some improvements on the XPeak.

@@theridewithlance that would be great if you could do the video I'll be waiting for it .. have a great day and a great week
Did they fix the wobble issue? I was going to get one but saw so many complaints and videos of that wobble

@@theridewithlance ok wouldn’t work for me then because I will do some occasional deliveries with it so I would need a rack on the back.

@@sigs13nt thanks for the feedback. No racks for me is a dealbreaker, but good to know that they figured it out.
