List makes no sense. Yurchenko and shushunova were the gymnasts for the 80s. Silivas didn't have perfect form at all. Far from it. Loose feet and knees and not great difficulty. Whoever made this list doesn't know gymnastics

Tara lipinski should be at number ten on this list or not on it at all. I trained with her for years, her jump technique was horrific and her artistry was well, non existent. Her jumping technique was so flawed that if she were competing today with the new point system & instant slo-mo replay for judges all of her cheated jumps and changing edges (she never did a clean triple lutz in her whole career, she only did flutz’s because she would hammer toe her lutz and always switch to the backward inside edge making her “lutz” jump, a flip jump. Also her jumps are exceptionally unremarkable lacking height power and the lack of any true artistry is disgusting. she would have never even Made it to Senior Nationals today, and believe me, SHE KNOWS IT. I should know, I trained with Tara. Midori Ito should be up wayyy higher on your list. She is the true OG GOAT, along with Michelle Kwan. I also met Midori, Kristi, Michelle & Katarina. I started skated when I was 7 and was an elite competitive figure skater for 14 years till my right and left knee birth defects forced me to have to leave skating one level under Olympic eligibility. But hey, I didn’t let my knee birth defects get in my way, I got as far as I did through an incredible amount of dedication, determination, love, devotion and true joy from being on the ice. It was my first love in life and will always be. And don’t try it, I’ve heard every Nancy and Tanya joke… not funny when your lifetime dream gets taken away from you so close. I worked my rear end off to not let my genetic knee issue get in my way. I did pretty darn good and better than many others would have. I was very dedicated and loved skating deeply. that’s how I got so far despite my knees. I wish they would have held out just a few more years. But it is what it is.
